    DMV Appliance Repair Services LLC
Overall experience was great!!! I was given appt next day. The tech was on time and diagnosed problem. He came back in two days with parts. What did impress me was about 5 days later and issue with Ice maker occurred. They promptly responded and rectified the issue. No problems since. I would highly recommend DMV. As a matter of fact I already did....

We received electronic confirmation of the time of arrival of our repairman the night before he was due. The service repairman arrived promptly. After checking our freezer compartment he determined that we simply needed a new filter in our refrigerator. He advised us to purchase and install it ourselves to save money. We followed his recommendation and we now have ice cubes again!!

    Wooten Appliance
I called Wooten Appliance to make an appointment to repair my dishwasher. They were unable to come out until the next week. I called the manufacture of the dishwasher for an appointment  and the serviceman came out the same day approximately an hour later. I called Wooten Appliance after I confirmed the appointment for my dishwater with the other company and cancelled the appointment with them for the next week. I needed it fixed if not that day no later then the weekend.

My wife and I had been noticing intermittent puddles of water in the area of the refrigerator for several weeks, but were unsure where the leakage was. Then early on a Saturday morning we noticed the water once again.  I called DMV about 10:00 a.m. that morning and described the problem. They promised that a plumber would come by within 4 hours that day, and he actually arrived around 12:30 p.m.  Most importantly, he immediately diagnosed the problem as a blockage in the refrigerator ice-maker.  He said it would take him 30 minutes to repair, and true to his word he completed his work (including clean up) in that time-frame.  We have not had any water problems since the service was performed.

    Superior Appliance Services LLC

Called Superior to service my washer ( it needed a drainage hose), and my dryer (the end of cycle buzzer comes on about 10 minutes in the cycle, sometimes it goes off, and come back on throughout the cycle and sometimes it stay on through most of the cycle). I was given a same day appointment between 10 am and 1 pm. I asked all the questions- what the service fee would be, I was told that the diagnostic fee for the dryer would be $ 50 and the washer would be $25. I explained that the washer did not need to be diagnosed it just needed a water drainage hose. He asked for the brand and model number and said that the technician would bring the hose. The service technician showed up on time. We turned on the dry to let it run while the technician replaced the hose to the washer. Finally the dryer began to buzz; the technician examined the dryer he stated that he opened the back, and could not figure out why the dryer was buzzing prematurely. So the dryer was not repaired, he said that he would not charge me for the dryer because he could not diagnose it but he wrote me a bill for $179.00 + $50 (Angie?s list coupon) to replace the hose. That would have been $229.00 to replace the drainage hose on the outside of the washer. I questioned the fee and asked for an itemized bill, he would not give me one he kept saying ?it?s all included?, and I kept asking for an itemized bill. Finally he changed the bill to $129.00+ $50 (Angie's coupon)  but never itemized it. Now I have to call Whirlpool to get my dry repaired.

    Update

The next day Ben responded to my Angie's list rating. He explained that the technician was new and should have consulted him for charges. I was refunded $ 50.00.

    Wooten Appliance
I called for the repair of a range and dishwasher on a Tuesday.  My call was promptly returned by Stephanie that afternoon and service was provided on Wednesday.  Darryl performed the repairs.  I was pleasantly surprised that the services were minor.  I was charged a service fee and the minimum labor charge of $20 for each appliance - not to mention that the technician reminded me to use my Angie's couplon!  I would definitely use Wooten Appliance again and recommend them to anyone who needs an appliance repaired.

    A-1 Appliance Repair
I called him on Labor Day and left a message expecting that my call would be returned first thing the next morning, but it was not. I was discouraged and was about to call another repair service when I decided to call him again. He answered the phone and asked for details of the problem. When I told that I had a propane gas leak for about a month and that the pilot was not working well, he responded as if I was crazy for living in the house. He told me that he would call me before he arrived because I was at home that day.
About 2 hours later, he was knocking at the door, without calling. He introduced himself. He asked how I learned about his company and I told him that I found him on Angie's List. He reported that he had received several service calls from people who found him on Angie's list.
He looked at my stove and reported that it was not that bad. He reported that he thought that I said that the pilot was not working. He reported that gas leaks are considered an emergency and are placed at the top of the list. He worked on the stove and told me that it was blockages in the pilot and burners created by carbon that had developed into a fine powder. He cleaned the pilot and burners. He also told me about grease fires and suggested how to clean the stove, which I did while he was there. It was a lot of work, but when I finished, he gave his approval.
I was surprised at the cost, but I was relieved to have the stove repaired. I guess I was charged an emergency service fee. I do know that his phone rang frequently with service calls. I was glad to have the service completed. Overall, I would use this service again.

Alas...I was wrong. My earlier experience with this guys was...I thought...a "God Send". But I was so very, very wrong. This guy really does NOT answer or return calls. I have been waiting for a return call from this guy just to get paperwork on my refrigerator.I have heard every excuse...from I sent it to I'm on my way to I had an emergency with my father...I'll call you back. This has been going on for more than 8 weeks now. Not only has my freezer clunked out, the top part of my fridge is getting warmer. This guy is fake. And he will inconvenience your time. Having had to chase him around Maryland for paperwork is a waste of time. He really is not professional. He may be cheap but you WILL get what you pay for...in time and service.

    AA DEPENDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE
This service on my side by side refrigerator was performed by AA Dependable Appliance Service thru my warranty company, American Home Shield. Therefore, I only had to pay a flat $60 as required by my warranty contract. The technician was on time and immediately knew what the problem was (burned out computer), He took all of 15-20 minutes to fix the problem. While behind the refrigerater he swept up the dirt for me. I really appreciated this extra service as I suffer with back problems and it would have been difficult for me to move the refigerator and clean behind it later.
This is a great company because of their customer service, dependability and knowledgeable technicians. I will definitely use them again.
