Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Sykesville

I've been very well satisfied with them.  You give them a contract, so much a month depending on if you have your heat pumps, hot water heater, or whatever, and then they come out and they set it for the season.  They give it season checks, and sometimes they put freon on it, and sometimes they do a lot of repairs and stuff, and you don't have to pay anything for the repairs.  I think I have two heat pumps and a hot water heater and I think it's like $40 a month, but I've come out ahead every year.  It's been pretty good.  I call them on the phone and then they just send people out.  Actually, it's two different contracts; one is for heat pumps and the water heater and I have the another one for electric and plumbing.  They came out for the heat pump.  The heat pump outside didn't come on and so it was using the furnace heat and they fixed that, and they were gonna replace the part, and for some reason they didn't come out and fix that the next day, and I haven't got around to having them fix that.  They were supposed to come out the 13th to replace a part that was gonna stop the problem from happening again.  Although they fixed it temporarily, it wasn't permanently fixed and they didn't come out the 13th.  You call them up and if you have priority service, then they come out very quickly.   The BGE heat pump thing, I've had that for several years but the plumbing thing was new.  I wasn't real excited with the fact that they didn't come back the next day, but over the years they have been super.  The guy that came out last time, I think he was newer so he kept calling up somebody to make sure he was doing stuff right.  He ended up doing what he had to do fine, it was just that they didn't come back out.  If I had to grade overall, I would recommend them because they've come out, they've saved me a lot of money fixing all sorts of stuff - keeping an old heat pump I had which was over twenty years old - kept it going for several years, but I replaced that this Fall, and they gave me tremendous discounts for getting a new system put in.  When they were supposed to come back, they said it might be two and a half to four hours to replace this part because it's a big deal, but to replace the actual part, unless it was covered I might have to pay $200 for the part, but all the labor and stuff would be free.  For price for the heat pump I have to give them an A because I pay them up front monthly and I don't pay them anything when they come out.  They've saved me a lot of money over several years I've been with them, so I think I've come out ahead.  Except for the fact that they didn't come out this last Thursday, I've been very satisfied with BGE Home, the heat pump system thing.  I can't say I've been overly happy with the plumbing part.  They came out this last time and they did a real nice job; they also came out one time and replaced the toilet, just a super job.  But about a year or so ago, I had about three or four things I wanted them to do, and I wasn't here again, and he gave reasons to my wife why he couldn't do any of this stuff.  Like I wanted to replace the garbage disposal and he said that something was wrong with the way the pipe was draining and he couldn't fix it, it was clogged or something.  I had unclogged that - I don't know what that was about.  I wanted to replace a filter downstairs and he had a reason why we had to replace the whole water system just to replace this little filter and it wouldn't have done any good.  It was about three or four things; that wasn't real good.  He got the garbage disposal working that was in there, but he didn't replace it like I wanted, so I had to have it replaced a few months later because it needed to be replaced.  Regarding the heat pump, the initial response was just fine.  I called them one day, I picked a day for them to come out, they came that day and he got it working again, which was great. But then they were supposed to come out the next day to replace the part and that never happened, and although they never called - they were supposed to call 20 minutes ahead of time - it worked out fine because it was from 7:30 to 5:00 and we had an emergency come up and we had to leave at 4:00 anyway; but they never called so they didn't come, actually, but we couldn't have stuck around anyhow.  For responsiveness over the years I'd give them an A.  The 12th they were fine - it's just that they didn't come back the 13th to finish it up.  Honestly it doesn't really matter to me too much because we had to leave; a family emergency came up, so the fact that they didn't come worked out okay for me.  It didn't bother me a bit.  What they do, they give you a range of time and then they call you 20 minutes ahead; so that's an A.  It was what they told me it would be.  They've always been real good.  He even puts stuff on his shoes when he comes inside to cover his feet, kind of a baggie around the foot.

Initially, they sent out a electrician, despite us requesting plumbing services. He wanted us to replace the panel that controls all the electrical (quoted $2,500). The subsequently sent out a plumber who quoted us $2,500 for plumbing services (replacing the water heater, sump pump, sump pump switch etc.). Once we got our estimates, we told them we would think about it. After some consideration, we reached out to the provider and we never got any call back. We ended up using other providers, and some of the suggestions Michael & Sons Service Inc made were deemed unnecessary. It seems as though they weren't interested in doing any work under the $2,500 price... Buyer beware!

Service was excellent.   Job was completed in a prompt period of time.  Treated me and my wife like we were family members.  So pleased that we are having them come back and install a constant pressure system for our well.  Best plumbing company I have had experience with and will give them all my plumbing work in the future.

Mike Kastner provided a detailed estimate about 2 mos prior but bad weather forced us to delay the install until March. They described how the two-day installation would proceed and got our agreement to be without hot water for one night. They would replace the gas line the first day and replace the HWH the second day. As it turned out, the plumber who performed the job exceeded our expectations and left the original HWH working at the end of the first day after he replaced all of the gas pipe with larger pipe. We had hot water that night. The next day he singlehandedly removed the old HWH and brought in the new unit and plumbed everything into place including the new expansion tank which code required since our original installation was done before the code changed. At my request, he also added a capture pan under the new HWH and plumbed a drain line from that pan over to a nearby sump well. He also replaced the 20 year old sump pump, with a new unit. It is a very neat professional installation. At the end of the day everything was in place and worked perfectly. They cleaned up immaculately and left the basement looking as if no one had ever been there save for the new equipment in place. I highly recommend Kastner or AVS Plumbing (their associated company). I also asked them to estimated a future fixture replacement job for me which they did. We will be asking them to return in the very near future.

They did what they advertised. They came out and got the problem fixed. The only thing negative I would have to say about them is that they're expensive. Even though it was after hours, they continued until they got it done.

They responded very quickly and did the work on the a Sunday, working into the night to get it finished so I'd have water as quickly as possible. The owner and his daughter did the work. I paid extra for the Sunday service, but that's reasonable. This is a messy job but it went well.

I had a hard time finding someone who services this type of work. They came out right away after I contacted them. The father of the owner completed the work. He has a great amount of experience and was able to diagnose and repair the issue. It turned out very well.

I did use him and he was excellent. They were very punctual and the gentleman did an excellent job. Everything was clean and working when I got home. The price on par with the one I had done 10 years ago. They were very responsive. They were right on time. I would use them again.

As a first time home owner that had only been in the house for a few months I was terrified on what the experience would be like and how much it would cost. I am very happy I went with All Aspects. They sent Zeke out to take a look, who took the time to really inspect the area and diagnose the problem. He worked with me to find a solution that would not only solve my problem,  but also would be affordable. Within a week they sent Rusty and his team out to fix the problem and I was amazed at how fast, efficient, and professional they were. We have put the carpet back where the new sump pump has been installed and you would never know there was a problem there.

We were leaving the same day for a short vacation, with rain in the forecast at home, so were nervous about having to cancel. Called Kastner in the morning, and without asking for rush service, they were at our door two hours later. Good tech and friendly service.
