Lost electricity in this latest massive storm. Harry was out with in 24 hours and repaired the old generator receiver (He will laugh at this I have no idea what it's called), brought a generator and we had water for our farm and a couple plugs like the refrigerator and the coffee maker. Yay we can wait for BGE to replace the transformer. Thanks Harry!!!

There was a bit of confusion when he first arrived as his secretary told him I needed an outlet switched out when it was much more complicated than that. He worked for about 3 hours then had to come back the following day due to time constraints. He completed the job and now I have lights and power fully working in my home again. He was a nice guy and helped fix up a mess of electrical wires at my house.

I was told by another electrician (Bailey & Shippe) that this job was going to take a whole day (I had bought 2 hours of their time). So, I bought this other package of up to 8 hours, thinking that it was going to take a whole day. I contacted Advantage Electric (they didn't contact me), sent pictures, and discussed the job. I was never told that this job wouldn't take that long. They said later, that they had asked me if I wanted anything else done, but I was definitely under the impression that this job would take all day. I told the electrician on the day of the job (and prior) that I DID NOT want a fan that wobbled and made a noise. I had purchased two different fans because of this, and told the electrician what the salesman had said about the fan I liked best. He said that that fan should be fine, but with a very long shaft, most fans wobble a little. The job was done beautifully. I wasn't there for the end of the job. My father called around lunchtime, to say that the job was done. I was shocked! When I got home that night, I checked the fan, and it wobbled, and made a ticking sound, even though the shaft actually used was 1/2 as long as what we talked about earlier. (The other fan that I had purchased was guaranteed not to wobble and make noise.) But I was focused on what else I could use the balance of the time for, because by that time, I had forgotten that the offer was for one visit only. I emailed Advantage, and told them what else I had in mind for the balance of the time (another wiring job), thinking that they could also adjust the fan. They responded, reminding me of the contract terms. After checking, I apologized, and told them about the fan wobble and noise bothering me, and could they fix it. I never got a response. That, too, shocked me, and I ended up paying, per hour, twice what I had thought it would be, when I bought the deal. So make sure, if you buy this deal, that you tell them, upfront, other jobs that you want done, in case they finish the main job that you had in mind, early.

The actual work was fine! The problem was that the receptionist seemed too careful to guard the owner's (or knowledgable electrician) time. When I wanted to get information, she would ask the electrician, not let me speak to him. I didn't like this. I was told that the installation that I wanted would take a day. I came up with another job that I wanted done that was far less complicated. When I talked to the receptionist again, it was the same way. Finally, I challenged her on it. She wanted to schedule a job when I didn't even know exactly what I wanted done for the 2 hour time frame. After complaining, she put the electrician on, and he was very nice and knowledgable, and I felt confident in what I would do, and in their ability to do it.

    New Dawn Electric
Very happy with the work Allan did. Price was extremely reasonable, no "nickel and diming" for minor things - literally 1/3 the cost of one of the other quotes i got. Also free estimate, which is nice because some will charge just to assess the project and quote.

Harry was very professional. He kept me informed of what was going on... and was always right on time. The work was fantastic and done in an expedient manner. I couldn't be any happier with the work. He was very flexible in adjusting to new requests and changes. I'd definitely recommend him.

It was completed faster than I ever imagined. Tim Hoke came out and removed an old fluorescent fixture that was inside the closet over top of the entrance door. He then installed a new 4 ft long LED light that I bought from Home Depot. In about 20 minutes he was done and it looks and works perfectly. His cost was very nominal and I think he is a better value than any others I have used. I use Hoke electric for all of my home electrical needs. Very reliable, punctual, professional and high quality.

    Lehman Industries, LLC
Lehman Industries are a, fast and efficient, one shop stop for your renovation needs. We moved out of state and listed our house for sale. After the home inspection, we contacted Lehman Industries to address the issues in the home inspection including plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Jeremiah gave us a quote within a few days and completed the work very quickly. When there were issues with another contractor's work, Jeremiah fixed the issues within a day. Jeremiah's efforts allowed us to sell our house with no issues despite being located several time zones away. I highly recommend the Lehman Industries for all your renovation needs.

Terrific. Tom is a super nice person and did fantastic work. We've had horrible experience with contractors in the past so we always cringe when we have to hire someone. Tom was very responsive to our scheduling and question. Showed up on time and did a fantastic job. While we had someone else dig the trench to the shed, Tom ran everything, hooked up the shed, and took care of the light and fan in the attic. He worked through all of our other items and showed us either the 'problems' were things we could take care of, we didn't understand, or something the previous owner changed that just didn't function any more. Took him less than 30 minutes total to figure out and explain each of these issues. The cost? Zero. I honestly can't recommend Tom enough. Did a great job.

Jeff (estimator) was very knowledgeable and provided us with a fair quote. Tom and his crew were very professional, courteous and knew what they were doing. I had competing quotes from other local providers, but I'm glad I decided to go with Royal. Definitely will hire again.
