  • The entire process, from beginning to the end, was very smooth. Both the management and engineers at Reliable Maintenance were very helpful, knowledgeable, and light years ahead of other company's in respect to their level of customer support and their ability to get the job done quickly, professionally, and efficiently all the while informing the customer of money saving tips on what they can do to maintain the system in the most simplest of ways. I'd recommend Reliable Maintenance to any and everyone who seeks this type of service.

  • Tech went to wrong address after confirming current location the day before. The dispatcher seemed distracted, and wasn't customer focused. When the tech arrived he asked what was the problem. I told him that the wasn't getting cold. He turned on the air via thermostat , then goes downstairs to look at inside device. I then see him go outside and put some type of gauge on the unit outside. He never mentions if a tune was done. He tells me that my 8 year old unit needs a new compressor. But he would recommend that I just replace the entire unit. He proceeds to show me replacement units advising that the cost would be 6k-8k and that he could get me financing if I qualified. I asked him about just replacing the compressor he at me with a "yeah right" smirk stating that they don't make my model anymore... and it would be better just to replace. I asked that he give me a statement advising what he had done and what he was recommending... he asked for my email address and told me that he would send me a statement via email. To date, I have not received the email. I am now calling another service provider... I feel as if the tech was trying to pull a fast one on me. As it stands.. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  • Very timely, professional and easy to work with. One of the most exceptional things they did was back in 2000 when my husband passed away, they paid my fuel bill for the entire winter season. I really appreciated that. I didn't ask, they just took care of it when I changed the account to my name after he passed.

  • It was kind of difficult to schedule the appointment because it appeared online that you could schedule the appointment online, but we never heard back from them. However, when I was able to reach them it was easy to get someone to come out and the person that came was great. 

    The person that came out provided wonderful service and the person I spoke with on the phone for scheduling provided good service. However, the person who was supposed to respond online, never responded so there was a lot of time wasted. Had I not been persistent, I may still be waiting. I would use them again now that I know who to contact and how to contact them to get the appointment.

  • Had a technician come out and check out the system. First when I called it was supposed to call 69.99 for a diagnostic. When the service technician came out and said he would need to perform a leak test. After that he said he would fix it and that all it was was a leak. That was over 600 dollars for the fix. He turned it on and it seemed to be working fine. After the next morning it wasn't working and was having the same problem. Sears sent a second technician and he said that the compressor was the issue and it was not a leak. After I asked what it would cost to get it repaired properly and was quoted at 2600 dollars and then I requested a refund for the original service because the leak was not the main problem with the unit it was the compressor. I filed a complaint with the office and there was never a resolution.

  • Excellent service! I called Friday evening at 6pm, and a service tech (Doug S.) was able to have my AC up and running by Saturday at 3pm. My AC is located on the roof of mid-size condo, and was not marked nor was there a floor plan to locate. It was also 90 plus degrees (we were in the midst of heatwave). In spite of all these obstacles, Doug was able to locate and identify the appropriate unit; he even marked it and showed me where it is located for future reference. I very much appreciate these extra efforts! Doug is professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer my many questions, so I learned a few things about AC units.

  • Working with Hvac and appliance express is always a pleasant experience. I have been using them for the past 2 years to help me with the repairs of appliances. All the repaired items seem to last a longer time than the shelf time of the products.

    Recently, my newly bought AC broke down and was causing a pain to my family as my whole place feels like a hot sauna. Thankfully, Ben and his team met with my expectation again. He came down personally after I gave him a ring and let him know of my situation and my AC is fixed within a day. Their professional service and great customer support is why I will always look for them whenever my stuffs break down. They are indeed the best in what they do. My personal #1 choice!

  • They were terrible. They came to give me an estimate. They said that I basically needed the replacement. They talked about knocking out walls and doing unnecessary work. When I got the estimate from another company, it was just a matter of small piece that needed to be replaced. I do not trust what they said. Punctuality was fine. They came out when they said they would.

  • I will never use another duct cleaning service. The professionalism and quality of work performed by Lowe's was superb. The technician even fixed an issue that could have caused a fire and didn't charge me an additional fee. He was on time and courteous and took his time to complete the job. I am highly satisfied.

  • Professional all the way.  Tommy, who they sent out, was cheerful, respectful and completely professional. He handled the business super, super quick! As a result of that, and the fact that I have an old unit, I'm going to be scheduling a new unit install with them for this fall. These folks are pros and their local - two pluses in my book.
