    Ryan offered to come out and provide a quote the very next day. He called about an hour before arriving and asked me about the type of carpet I was looking for and knew that I wanted it done as soon as possible. He stopped at the warehouse to check on which carpet selections were available and brought those samples along with the others. He was very personable, professional, quickly measured the house and helped me pick out the carpet that best matched the paint. The installation crew arrived on time and went to work right away... When I returned, the house looked awesome! Everything was perfectly done. And, within just a few days! I will call this company again for my new place! Excellent service and experience.

    Extremely reliable and can count on service every other week as scheduled. Company provides all cleaning supplies so that I do not have to think about anything. Excellent communication with reminders of upcoming appointments. Always willing to do whatever is needed to provide complete service. Have been satisfied after every scheduled appointment.

    I happened to come across their Facebook page and decided to give them a try because they are a brand new company. Wow! I am so glad that I decided to call them. Not only did they make my house shine top to bottom, but they are friendly and are willing to work with my crazy schedule. I will be recommending them to all of my family and friends and will continue using them every other week.

    They arrived just on time and did a superb job. They pre-treated all the required areas and steam cleaned everything; excellent work! They went the extra mile to move some light furniture (I had moved most of the heavy stuff) and went right to work. Finished the job very fast and left the site but first gave me a few pointers on how to spot clean stains (use club soda, not soap-based cleaners).
    I will definitely recommend them. Their company description does not show it clearly, but they even cross the bridge to work in Kent Island.

    Clean Choice proved the buyer's home inspector wrong...no animal urine was found, but the forensic lighting did show mold spores in the basement carpet which the previous carpet cleaners did not get.  Clean Choice did a thorough cleaning of the basement, living room and stairs, and afterwards my carpets looked like new. I also got a great education on carpets, and what cleaning products to use and which to stay away from.  Further, as a plus, I sold my house!!  I will definitely be calling this company when the carpets in my new house start getting dingey.

    overcharged for hours not performed -   disappointed -   this seems to be an issue with most housecleaners -   good for a while then it becomes so routine that they forget to be thorough and often becomes a hit or miss job.   This disappointments me as I always explain that this is an issue and it is important that each week is always worth the money that I invest in their performance.

    The technicians were scheduled to arrive early Monday morning and did not arrive until Tuesday afternoon. When I made the appointment I was told they would be here Monday morning first thing. The scheduler even called a manager to make sure this was possible as I needed someone right away. I made the appointment on Saturday and was told I'd receive a confirmation call on Sunday and a call from the technician confirming his arrival time on Monday morning. I received no such calls on Sunday and the only call I received on Monday was in the afternoon telling me that the technicians were not coming with no reason as to why, but was told that they'd be here on Tuesday between 8-9 am. I also did not receive a call from the technicians confirming that they would be coming on Tuesday. When I called Sears on Tuesday morning a little before noon asking if they were still coming, I was told I was scheduled for them to arrive between 8-12. I told the person on the phone (who answered the call with an unprofessional "Hello?") that I was very unhappy my time was being wasted. If they set expectations correctly to begin with the 8-12 would not have been a problem. I lost two days of work waiting for them to show up. I finally did get a call on Tuesday about twenty minutes after my call to Sears from someone that said they were from Sears and that the technicians were on their way. When I inquired how long it would take them to get here he said 30-45 minutes. One hour later they finally showed up.
    When the technicians arrived some were talking on their cell phones and seemed a little disorganized. They did not wear protective booties and tracked dirt through my house and scuffed up the molding in the laundry closet because they were wearing work boots. They carried equipment through the house and borrowed one of my kitchen bar stools to prop their equipment on without asking. They did not put back the stool when they were done and had packed up their equipment even though it was left in plain sight.
    I was originally quoted $189 price for the dryer vent cleaning "plus taxes". When the lead technician presented the invoice to me it listed Clean Dryer Vent $189, Surcharge $15, Bird Cage $70, Sanitizer $99 for a total of $373.
    He asked if I wanted sanitizer I said yes but I wanted to know what chemical or solvent they were going to use to sanitize. He said "We put a bomb in it." When I asked him to clarify what he meant by a bomb he said it's like a bleach in a can that they "throw in there." I asked to see the container so I could see what chemicals they were going to 'bomb' my dryer vent with and he pointed to what looked like a garden sprayer with liquid in it. I asked to see the original bottle and he sent one of the other technicians out to the truck to get it. Then the lead technician handed me a bottle of commercially available "Fabric and Carpet Deodorizer". So basically they tried to rip me off for $99 to spray air freshener in my dryer vent and called it sanitizer. I said no to the deodorizer as a sanitizer treatment.
    The $15 surcharge was never explained to me. I'm assuming they charged me $15 because my dryer and vent are on the second floor of my townhome and they had to walk up a set of stairs. They were able to reach the dryer vent with a 6 ft ladder from my deck. The dryer vent is only about 15-20 feet long and goes straight out to the deck dryer vent so there was no extra long vent to deal with. This is a fairly newly constructed home (3 yrs old) and this was not a patch job of a vent, it was put in by the builder.
    The bird cage the technicians brought and tried to charge me $70 for was the exact same bird cage I went and purchased at ACE hardware for $5. They told me that it was a 'lifetime guarantee' for the bird cage. When I said I only paid $5 and I'd get someone to put it up he said he'd charge me $25. Then he made a phone call to confirm that was the price of installing a customer supplied bird cage. I don't know if that was for show or he actually called Sears to confirm. For all I know he was talking to his friend on the phone again.
    When they were packing up, I noticed the debris everywhere and that they were not intending on cleaning up after themselves or cleaning the bird mess on the outer rim of the dryer vent and had already installed the bird cage cover. I then went looking for the lead technician and found him smoking and talking on his cell phone in his truck. I asked about the cleaning up and he said "Oh, yeah you want it cleaned?" I said yes, please and he said ok they'd take care of it. He and his 2 other technicians were friendly the whole time I think they just were trying get away with doing as little work as possible and they were clearly not trained in dryer vent cleaning techniques. The lead technician then proceeded to try to use the garden sprayer filled with deodorizer to wipe off the bird mess. I asked them if they needed an actual cleaner in a spray bottle and he said no but then said yes after still trying to "clean" with deodorizer unsuccessfully. I gave him a bottle of cleaner and he wiped the outside of the dryer vent and put the cage back on.
    I'd just like to remind you that I hired them to CLEAN the dryer vent. All they really did was shoot some compressed air into the dryer end of the vent and shop vac some of it up on the outside dryer vent end. They used no brush or camera to see if they got it all or to verify that it was clean on the inside and I think they may have actually blown debris into my dryer since it now sounds like there are stones in it and the inside  barrel is covered in dust. The sanitizer they were going to charge me for would not have sanitized anything. And now I don't even think they got all the debris out because I can still hear things rattling around in there.
    This job was not done to anything close to my expectations, having used Sears in the past to install my garage door opener and having been very impressed with the level of service I received, this experience was extremely disappointing.
    Basically I now have to pay more money to have someone else come out and clean it properly.

    Update 6/21/2013: The vent was not cleaned thoroughly. There was a ton of debris left in the dryer vent along with a live baby bird, the Sears crew just put the bird cage on the vent and left the bird in there. Needless to say this was cruel and created an even larger mess in and around the dryer vent as the mother bird was trying to feed it's young, and both birds were in a panic because the little one was trapped. I was able to get the vent off and rescue the bird but then discovered that the crew Sears sent only cleaned about 1 foot into the dryer vent and the rest of it was still jam packed with nesting debris and bird waste. After calling Sears to complain that the job was not done properly they said it was there policy to send a crew out to rectify the situation before considering refunding my money. I made it explicitly clear that I did not want the same technicians coming to my home. They were supposed to arrive today and I've just rec'd a phone call stating that the same crew would be coming. This is the 3rd day I've had to take off work for this and I am furious that they are now not able to send anyone but the original crew that did a terrible job the first time. I have been getting the run around with their "Quality Control" department being shuffled back and forth between the schedulers in Virginia and the technicians and managers in Baltimore. They will not give me a business address and will not refund my money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I have talked to multiple employees now and they are extremely rude on the phone. They are unprofessional and don't care about the quality of their service delivery at all. I will continue to update this review if their response changes but it's unlikely at this point. I also plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the State of Maryland Attorney General's Office.

    I have been using them for years and they have always done an excellent job. If you want custom painting they are the best place to go. They were on-time, friendly, and did what they said they were going to do. I would highly recommend them. They detailed the inside of the car underneath the hood and it looks like new.

    Not well! When I got home, my wife informed me that she had gotten from Angie's list had arrived and was under the impression that we had hired him, when all we wanted was an estimate.The cleaner had started cleaning although I did not discuss with him the work that I expected to be done, which obviously included moving the beds to do the entire carpet throughout the rooms. When I offered to help him move the beds, he said that he sprayed something underneath the beds! That is not what I call shampooing the carpets. In addition, the primary reason for calling him in the first place was to eliminate a stain that was next to one of the beds. That was not accomplihed either. The man that did the work did not appear to understand English very well and I couldn't seem to get across that I wanted the WHOLE CARPET CLEANED! I won't recommend them to anyone, unless they come back and do the job properly.

    Polite, efficient, respectful of owner's property and privacy. The service person was able to remove almost all stains, some of which were left by the previous owner's pets. Two stains in a good-quality wool carpet were lightened considerably, more than I had hoped he could accomplish. Carpets dried reasonably quickly; able to walk on them right away. He took care with our furniture, put it up on Styrofoam blocks. Did not knock the cleaning machine or vacuum against the furniture. His rates were very reasonable compared to other companies. He did a much better job than two other companies I had hired before (the other two companies are well-known nation-wide franchises), getting out stains that those companies had not. I have had him in to clean carpets twice now. On the second occasion, we had water damage from a plumber's mistake, and he was able to get that stain out, too. I recommend Carpet 1st to friends and colleagues.
