    Marr Construction Corp.
Marr Construction Corporation coordinated the complete renovation and addition on our home in Silver Spring, MD. The owner, Jack Marr, was heavily involved in the project from the very start, and we were impressed with his attention to detail, his expertise, and ability to understand our expectations and needs. Marr Construction Corporation is committed to quality, and this is obvious in the final product. We would recommend Jack and his company to anyone needing work done on their house. We hired Marr Construction again this year to renovate/replace our porch and to add a deck. The quality of the work was excellent as always though we experienced some delays as they were busy. Once the project got started though it went quick and we're very happy with the result.

    DIXON POOL SERVICE
The service man showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. However, the pool heater was beyond repair. The only problem I have with them is that he promised a quote from the company for a new heater which I never received so I went with another company.

    Aqua Living Factory Outlets
Aqua Living is by far the shadiest, least scrupulous business I have ever encountered. We were forced to refuse initial delivery of our tub after the shipper, Saia, dropped it three feet off of their truck, causing visible damage. Instead of working this out with the shipper, Aqua Living instead tried to tell us the spa was fine (without inspecting it) and tried to make us pay for both the initial failed delivery to the curb ($250) AND the second delivery to the pad ($400). They tried to justify this with some legally unenforceable language in their order receipt about the number of people required to unload the spa (as if the shipper or their insurer would ever allow customers to hop onto their truck and assume such liability). We had to have a lawyer contact LPIs president and threaten a lawsuit before they agreed to re-test the tub and deliver it without further charge. (And really, we should have gotten an entirely new tub.) When the tub was finally delivered, the accessories we paid for were absent (filter, chemicals, booster seat). We are still waiting for the booster seat, now three months after placing our order. Most of our interaction with Aqua Living has been with MH, variously identified to us as a technician, a regional manager, and a deputy of the regional manager (his father, apparently). MH copped a nasty attitude from the start, until we made clear we were pursuing our legal options. There is no doubt that MH and Aqua Living would (and probably do) take advantage of customers without the resources to protect themselves. Though Aqua Living offer lower prices than their competition, you will likely pay for the difference and then some in time, frustration, and other costs before you get what you are owed from them.

    California Builders
We already had the plans drawn up by then. The project started in July, 2017, and was completed in May, 2017. Our favorite thing about Matthew was that he was very quick to respond to any question/concern we had. He was always easy to reach. We also enjoyed his positive outlook and upbeat attitude when it came to problem solving. His workers, Marcelo the carpenter and Giovanny our project manager who can do almost anything, did an excellent job. When we hit a glitch, with the plumber, for instance, Matthew was very efficient in fixing it. Overall, we would wholeheartedly recommend Matthew Willis and his crew.

    #1 Pools
I am very disappointed in #1 Pools. I had service with them for quite a long time but it was long distance for a rental home. I received a complaint from the tenant that on the day of expected service feathers were in the pool and the filters were filthy. I tried to reach the office Friday at noon and did not receive a return call until the following Wednesday. When I finally reached the office the person yelled at me that service had occurred even though there were feathers in the pool. They refused to return to service it. I left a message for Keith the owner to return my call but all I received was an email saying he was canceling my service. Since I was not at the house to notice the service I was receiving I now assume there were other missed appointments. I cannot recommend this company and especially their customer service.

    Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms
It went very well. I remember the work started round the Christmas holidays and they were there punctual right after Christmas. I also remember it was freezing cold outside and the work continued until the job was done. The room has been finished now for about 6 years and we are so happy we got it done.

    Prime Construction Corp
Augustin was absolutely great! He walked us through the entire process and made sure that we understood what our options were in terms of materials, product and cost. He also kept us well informed during construction. He and his men were polite, friendly and punctual. Our additions are definitely well constructed. I have 2 other houses for which I have responsibility and will hire Prime Construction Corp for all my repair and construction needs. I count myself fortunate to have found them.

Maryland Hot Tub, Pool & Spa Repair Service
I talked to Gary at Md Hot Tub and he was able to come out in pretty short order. He showed up when he said he would, and took care of our tub through a series of visits, Each time they showed up on time; they returned calls, and even called when he was all done to be sure we were happy. The overall price was not cheap, but a lot of that was materials, and I have no idea how to compare that. But overall, I was extremely happy with everything and see no reason to ever call anyone else.

    Vienna Hot Tubs & Patio
Had to call several times to get someone to return my call. Would have given up at that point but finding someone to repair hot tubs is difficult in this area, apparently. They finally came out and determined I had a bad recirculating pump. Had one in his truck, which he installed, but it turned out it was a bad pump. $150 service call. 4 weeks later and two more phone calls, they came back and installed the new pump. Charged $300 for the pump and another $150 call. I don't feel as though I should have had to pay for the 2nd service call since if the 1st pump had worked, I would not have had to. He said it wasn't his fault either, but it is HIS supplier, and that is partly why we pay professional fees, because professionals stand by their parts and labor. If you use this supplier and he supplies you with defective parts, that's between you and him and the customer should not have to pay. Light was never fixed; nozzles never attended to. A phone call left me with either accepting the cost as is or of him coming out and taking out the pump and returning my money. But then I've just had a big waste of time and am back to square one. So for now, I've swallowed the cost, but will not be using them again in the future.

    Reliant Assembly
EXCELLENT experience with Reliant. Owner responded to my initial inquiry immediately with quote and scheduling times. He was also very responsive to questions via email that I had about additional items that might be needed and about anchoring this set (not necessary). It was clear that they have prior experience with swingsets and general assembly of playground equipment. They arrived exactly on time and he was meticulous about putting the pieces together and making sure all connections were absolutely secure. This was no "quick and dirty" job and I appreciated his thoroughness. Our space was already prepared with mulch, but he checked in with me about the placement in yard- made sure it was exactly as I wanted and that I was happy with the set's level and stability. He also dug out areas where feet are secured. A very nice, neat job! I could not have asked for a more professional, quality and pleasant experience. The set is very sturdily assembled and safe for my kids. Thank you Reliant!
