The office itself and staff far exceeded any expectaions that I could've ever held! They are definitely on point and when I explained that either the CAT/MRI had revealed that Infection was feeding into my sinus cavity causing constant sinusitis and ear infection they offered me an appointment within 24 hours! Only drawback was the doctor. I could tell his technical knowledge, as well as the procedure he performed, was exemplary. However, his bedside manor left quite a bit to be desired shall we say. There also was no explanation as to why no stitches were required so it left me with concerns. The gave me instructions and a packet for immediate after-care, however I had no idea as to how long or what to expect in terms of the healing/recovery process. When I returned to pick-up my 'sterilized' tooth, which I think was an exception within itself to normal procedure so a plus, I arrived just a bit after closing. I ran into an upper level manager/admin. in the hall who was congenial enough to tap 'an upper partner' who searched and found my tooth and provided counseling I didn't receive as well as a thourough apology w understanding of brilliance of the doctor but confirmed what I assumed about the personality type of the doctor. Lol he is actually a lot like my father, brilliance isn't always wrapped in a congenial package and/or everyone is entitled to an 'off day'! :)

    Dzyak, Dr. William R
My daughter had four wisdom teeth extracted and was fastidious in her oral care.
She ended up with a "dry socket" or somesuch and had to keep going back afterwards.
Dr Dzyak blamed her for this, which I thought was very inappropriate.
    AND
I was at the office with my daughter, who was getting wisdom teeth extracted.
My wisdom tooth was to be extracted at a later date.
Doctor said "let's do some prep work [on me] now to save time."
Doctor did preparatory exam on me, including xrays.
Insurance only pays for work done on day of surgery.
Exam and xray were charged at full, inflated cost to me.
    Not happy about that.
When I called to protest, the Doctor's wife was belligerent and very unpleasant.
She demanded full and immediate payment of both of our bills.
I was unable to pay them both, which were in the hundreds of dollars.
She threatened to send it to a credit agency, until I told her I could borrow some money,
and pay half now and half next week.
It turned an otherwise pleasant experience completely sour.
    Never again.

I am like addicted to them. I started with them like 15 years ago. I have not allowed another person to touch my mouth other than a dentist. Every extraction, anything I needed they did. Exceptional care. Confidence, it is so scary. I get sedation because I am petrified of dental work. I even get it for good dental work. My dentist goes there, do the work. I pay a lot but I don't throw a fit. I would recommend them to anyone. I love being able to tell good things about people who makes my life easier.

    Murray, Dr. Patrick A.
I've been a patient of Dr. Murray's for a few years now. When we first moved to the area, we had a very difficult time finding a dentist that we liked and could trust - I think we had seen 2 or 3 other providers (both with terrible experiences) before finding Dr. Murray's practice. My husband and I are both patients now, and we could not be happier. Not only is Dr. Murray (and his staff!) courteous, professional and friendly, but he always puts the needs of the patient first and has their best interests at heart. I have never had problems with billing, and the practice is never quick to recommend unnecessary treatments or procedures - something I've found other dentists do all too often. Nancy, the office manager, is accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. And Sheree and Patricia are probably the best dental hygienists I've ever met - they go above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable, they do a stellar job of keeping my teeth in great shape, and are just so personable. Thanks for all you do!

The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.
First let me start off by saying that I am not the most easy going patient.
I ask alot of questions and I need to know extra information, I have ADHD and those are my little quirks. Every other doctor Ive ever had has been understanding and accommodating everyone till now.
Dr. K and his staff at Rockville MOSA treated me with the utmost disdain and annoyance. And I am NOT that annoying of a patient. Let me explain.
For my first visit I came prepared with my insurance information, fee schedule and referral from the doctor. I knew my out of pocket costs for a consult and panoramic xray should be 0$. I called to confirm with my HMO Dental insurance Dominion Dental. I have the 710xs FEDVIP plan which is a and quot;discount planand quot; and according to my fee schedule Consults are $0 and Panoramic Xrays are $0 as well. So imagine my surprise when I showed up for my Sept 12th consult the front desk rep ,Ryan said ok so its going to be $153.and quot; What? No, that's not right according to my fee schedule it should be zero. and quot;Ma'am we double checked it and that's your cost, can you do $90?and quot; and quot;NO! Im not paying anything cause its covered by my FEDVIP 710sx planand quot; I leave distraught and a wasted a day off of work.
I call my insurance and confirm that INDEED my out of pocket cost should be $0.00! I call them back to reschedule and confirm and reluctantly they agree but now I have to bring in a Maryland Uniform Referral Form. Ok Perfect!
So one week later I show up with my referral form and just my luck my referring dentist forgot to put down my insurance information in the upper right hand corner. Which is information they already had but were adamant that the referring Dentist HAD to put it in that box themselves. (Im rolling my eyes and getting angry at this point because cmon who is gonna know that someone else filled in that information) WHATEVER. I call my dentist who is 1 block down the street and ask for it to be faxed over. In the mean time I ask if I can proceed with my appointment while its being faxed over.
The receptionist lady behind the counter is very rude and unhelpful and adamant and quot; No. We can see you till that is filled inand quot; So I LOST IT. I had a breakdown RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR OFFICE. I cried and balled my eyes out and caused a slight scene and quot; How can you guys do this to me? Its on its way. Why cant I be seen in the meantime?and quot; and quot;I cant believe I took another day off of work and blah blah blahand quot; Yea I acted badly. But I had had it. I was frustrated beyond measure. Not about the form but their treatment of me. They acted as if I was trying to steal services from them. They acted like I was some low life scum. Were VERY unaccommodating. Finally the Office Manager patronizes me and calms me down and Dr. K sees me.
My case is complicated because I need a coronectomy on the right lower wisdom tooth. I had to get a CT scan and the Dr K confirmed the prognosis.
So I get to finally schedule my appointment and I request nitrous oxide and ask if its ok with the Dr. and they confirm its ok. Week later I call one last time to double check what I would need to pay. I call my insurance to confirm an estimate of what I should be paying, they offer to call the Dr to double check and I think that's what set off this whole fiasco.
So Dr K's staff tell me itll take a day to gather the estimate. I wait all day for a call. I call back today this morning and they tell me and quot;we are still working on itand quot; meanwhile the receptionist gives me some ADA Codes that don't quite match up to what surgery Im having done but that's OK cause Im not doctor! Im thinking why cant I just get a quote like that? Finallly Dr K calls me back and he DUMPS ME. He says his staff is bothered by me and I make too many demands and he doesn't feel comfortable doing my procedure. Says I should find some one else. WHAT?
Because Im asking for an estimate and double checking information on my procedure? Something is rotten in Denmark. I did a thorough investigation online and I noticed theres a slew of hidden reviews all stating that they were being overcharged. So Im definitely filing a report with the Maryland State Board of Health, Dominion Dental Insurance Fraud Investigation Unit,State Attorney General anyone else I can think of. If you had a similar situation I suggest you do the same. And check out the hidden reviews. IDK how they got them hidden but if I had seen those ahead of time I would have picked someone else.

    Eisner, Dr. Adam
He was not in the office the last time I was there. The oral hygienist took care of me. I have used him for probably 5 years and he is extremely easy to talk to. The staff is non-judgmental and very helpful and encouraging. They always want to help me solve the problem regardless of whether it is my fault. I have been pleased with them. They have helped me with scheduling and rescheduling my appointments. They helped me with my insurance policy when I was switching over to them.

    Fairfax Oral Surgery
The procedure went well and was done very quickly. It was essentially painless except for the Novocain injections which involve brief, minor and unavoidable pain. Both Dr. Park and the surgical assistant (I think her name was Sarah) were great. The price I paid was for the extraction and a whole mouth x-ray (since my referring dentist just did a bite-wing x-ray).

    Goldman, Dr. Leonard J.
My husband and I both have used Dr. Goldman and we love him. The office staff was lovely, and the procedure was virtually painless. He will use sedation for just a single tooth, if asked, which was a huge help since both my husband and I are very dental-phobic. They were even kind and patient when our infant son was in the office. We will never go anywhere else again.

    DR. Michael Pollack
This dentist is a cheapskate. Check out his ?fees,? such as
those for X-ray processing, that I have never been charged before by any other
dentist, as well as others that I have never even heard of before, such as
those for needle removal, which were described by my insurance company, Blue
Cross/ Blue Shield, as ?outrageous.? Check out his office--the carpet looks
like it has not been replaced in decades, is marked by mismatched swaths in
different rooms, with little strips between rooms, and
the walls have smudges and dents. Check out the impact of his financial
self-interest on patient treatment: I saw him for the first time after being
seen by my old dentist (in another state) for years and who, at the most recent
visit, didn?t find any problems. Dr. P****** recommended, at my visit three
months ago, that I have two crowns put in, my gums rebuilt and a mouth guard
made. I refused everything and am pleased to say that I have not had to see a
dentist since.  Finally, with respect to
competence, check this: He managed to lose my X-rays, the ones he was trying to
charge me to get access to.
