I saw Dr. Schneid a couple of times. Each time the wait was over 30 minutes despite my having an appointment. All I wanted was a renewal of my contact lens prescription, and he charged me extra to try to fit me with new contact lens prescription, which I told him I did not want. When I tried the new contact lenses, I saw worse than with my old prescription.. I will not be seeing him again.

I've been using Teunis since I was in high school and he's great. Always very professional and kind and personalized. Small home office is very clean and efficient. Billing and admin is always timely and accurate. A great small business to support!

it's a nice practice, and i'm confident in the work that they did.
however, it's impossible to reach them on the phone, and they don't have weekend hours.  so when your glasses finally come in, you have to take more time off from work to go pick them up.
i'd be happier if they answered the phones, and/or returned calls in a timely manner

I have been seeing her for about 10 years. She is one of Washington D.C.'s top doctors. She is great at explaining everything and is very understanding. She works well with seniors and is a great listener. She is happy to talk with you and not to you. She is a very compassionate doctor. The office staff are very professional and friendly. I have not had any problems with scheduling. They also have on street parking and a parking garage. They even keep quarters for street parking for their patients.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Glenn at Wheaton Plaza, and will return to her for care in future. I then spent almost 45 minutes selecting frames in the Lenscrafters store. They fit very well. Very attentive employee took eye measurements and submitted my order. Returned today to pick up the glasses and found they did not fit at all - off by at least 1/4 inch and sliding down my nose without any head movement. Worst fit ever. One employee was polite but the other was very unprofessional and rude. She began "adjusting" the frames with pliers in spite of my protests, asking questions and interrupting the answer to comment or ask something else. She let me know how offended she was at every turn. Both employees insisted that all frames skew when fitted with a prescription lens. I have not found this to be the case until I began to shop at this store. I had a pair of their "adjusted" glasses once before - the frames did not hold the shape and I couldn't wear them after a week. I refused the glasses and asked to speak with the manager. Was told manager is at lunch. I left and called a half hour later for the manager. Was told the manager really wasn't at lunch before but she was now. I called again almost 2 hrs. later and spoke with the manager. She agreed with her retail staff about the impossibility of fitting lenses to frames without widening the frames, stating "We just adjust them when you pick the up". She had no suggestions re: how one picks out a frame that fits well and will still fit well with lenses in it, or anything helpful to offer. Complete lack of concern shown. Never again!! Called another shop and was told I'd been fed a pack of lies regarding the lens fit to frames issue - glad I refused the glasses instead of letting them mangle the frames with pliers and call it all good. Bottom line - shop elsewhere for your eye wear needs! I wasted several hours already and will have to make another trip there to get my credit card swiped for the refund, then start over. Since the price tag exceeded $700 I'll have to wait for the credit to go through before I can see well again. One thing is sure - it can only get better from here.

I have been wearing glasses and contact for over 30 years and Dr. Loan Dorsam is the best eye doctor I have seen. She is very patient and caring and really listens to her patients. She was practicing in Olney, MD and moved her practice to Ellicott City, MD. When it came time for me to have my prescriptions renewed, I tried to make an appointment at her previous location and was very upset to find that she had moved. Because good eye doctors are so hard to find, I Googled her and found that she had moved her practice to Revolution Eyes in Ellicott City, MD.
I had my appointment with her today and I was glad I drove the extra miles to see her again. Although her old location was closer, it was worth it to me to make the drive because she provides superb care. You will not be disappointed with the visit, especially if you are tired of being rushed through your eye exams.
The staff are Revolution Eyes are very warm, caring and friendly. It is a nice change to find a business that really cares about its customers. They are definitely worth the drive and the best!

This, by far, has been THE BEST OPTOMETRY appointment i have ever had, and i have had plenty of good ones (and some bad ones). I am in my 40s and have been wearing glasses and contact since 2nd grade, so i have seen plenty of eye doctors over the years.
Dr David Ephraim was the most thorough, the most careful and the most knowledgable optometrist I have ever seen. My prescription is such that it makes it sometimes hard to get the right match with glasses and contacts (i am very myopic at -11.00 in both eyes). Not only was my initial appointment thorough, and very long, the time spent did not seem tedious (this is because of his great personality and extremely deep knowledge of the subject of eyes).
He helped me with many insights, things I did not know in the care of both my eyes and my contacts. For example, I happen to also use CPAP ....well, he gave me a few easy to manage tasks to help my eyes not be so dry (I never knew CPAP was drying my eyes outand none of even my CPAP doctors had mentioned this).
Every question was answered thoroughly, and in CLEAR detail. He is great at explaining complex concepts.
I could go on and on about him...do yourself a favor and check these guys out (the father or the son)...your eyes will thank you!!
I must mention it (and I feel silly even saying it) but when i first walked in to the office, it is very very unassuming, meaning that the decor was simple and felt like it might have been from the seventies. The office itself is located in a simple shopping center. no fancy signs, etc. etc...DO NOT let this throw you off !! It threw me off (can i blame my brain?) until ten seconds with Dr David Ephraim. Then I knew it didn't matter. Note that their equipment is very up to date! And that is what matters. That and the doctors.
    Hope this helps you decide.

This office is staffed with knowledgeable, personable personnel. They keep good records and have helped me to use my health insurance benefits to get the best care and equipment available. Eye care and glasses can be expensive. So, I appreciate getting guidance on how to apply the funds I spend for health care as efficiently as possible.

We've been using them for probably 20 years. My wife and I were lucky, because we haven't used glasses until we're older. Actually, they were recommended by neighbor. They are very thorough, and my wife needs a progressive lens this time around. The woman there really helped her, and she gave my wife a few tips. My wife didn't have a problem, and she got really good! About a week ago, I stepped on my glasses, and broke them. We brought it to them, and they fixed it without any charge. They provided complete care! Also, they have a wonderful selection of frames.
