    We awoke to a hotter than normal house on July 25th and, after walking outside, I noticed that the fan on the outside AC until wasn't working. I called Blue Dot at 7:10 AM and was told that someone would be out between 10 AM and 2 PM. All good. Around 1:30 PM, I hadn't heard from any technician so I called back. That's when I as told that nobody had scheduled my appointment. So I'd been sitting in an ever-warming house for 6 hours waiting on an appointment that was never scheduled. They said that they could have someone come out between 2 PM and 6 PM so I had them schedule the appointment. The technician arrived around 4:30 PM, I told him what was happening and that I was pretty sure the capacitor was the issue, and he checked the outside unit. He confirmed the capacitor was bad, replaced it in about 15 minutes, I paid, and he went on his way. My wife and I went to dinner and came home 3 hours later to it being 80 degrees in the house. I called Blue Dot back and they said that nobody was available until between 10 AM and 2 PM the next day. At this point, I'm fuming and decide to look further at the work order. It said that the technician replaced the capacitor, which he did, and checked the thermostat, which he certainly didn't. As a matter of fact, the only time that he spent on the house's main level, where the thermostat is, was to run my credit card for payment. I ran to Lowe's and bought a $20 thermostat to see if that could be the issue. Replaced the old thermostat with the new one and the AC kicked on as expected. Could've easily been figured out if the technician actually did what he said in the work order. To make matters worse, I was charged $322 for the replacement capacitor, labor not included. A quick search online shows that the capacitor costs anywhere from $15 to $35 so I was up-charged 10X - 20X on the replacement capacitor. That is insane. I guess I should consider myself lucky that the technician didn't check the thermostat because I probably would've been charged $200 - $300 for a replacement. I probably shouldn't have given the testing equipment that the technician left hanging on my outside until back to him before he left rather I should've sold it back to him for $400. My suggestion is to avoid Blue Dot at all costs. Poor appointment scheduling, lackluster/fraudulent description of work "performed" on work orders, and out of control pricing.

Damel was the engineer that fixed my heating system. He was punctual for the appointment and was quickly able to identify the problem. I had my heating system replaced and it has been working great ever since and the cost of replacing it was very reasonable. I will definitely tell my family and friends about this great company.

    They couldn't come right away. The price was good. It was comparable to everybody else. The quality was good. They were so busy, that they couldn't come right away and I needed them right away. They were here when they said. He was in and out about an hour and a half. The worker is the same guy that they always send. He's a great guy. They left the area extremely clean, you wouldn't even know that they were there.

    Tuned up the A/C in our home. The outside unit was covered with light yard debris and they removed the panels and cleaned it all out. Stayed around to make sure the unit worked properly and answered all my questions. They stayed as long as they needed, did not need to rush off to another appointment. They called 15 minutes prior to there arrival. and were there on time.

    I purchased a coupon special for this company to do an A/C diagnostic. Wow, one of the best service experiences I've had in some time. Henry and John arrived at my house, and donned shoe booties before entering. They went to work checking my indoor unit first, and joked of what a shame for them that my system was in such good shape. LOL. These guys were very professional, yet personable. After checking the existing system output, they went outside to check on that unit. Henry told me my freon level was low, and even took me outside to show me the gauges and what the numbers meant. My coupon price of $59 included up to 1 pound of freon if needed, but Henry said I'd probably need 2 pounds, for an extra cost of $65. He came back inside and rechecked system output, and my, what a difference. Before they came, my system would run for hours just to keep the temp in the house at 75 deg. He set the thermostat to 70 before he started, and the system shut off at 70 degrees just after they left, After cleaning up, I was only charged $50 for the extra freon. All in all, I'm very pleased with this company, and will not hesitate to use them again when I need service.

    We have a limited coverage with them, that they'll come out and look at certain things.  I think it was covered because they really didn't have to do much; they just saw a place that it was actually leaking and they just bent it a little bit and it stopped the leak, so they didn't really charge us for any of that.  The workers were okay.  They were fine.  They identified the problem and corrected it, and we haven't had any issues with it since.
