  • I was told they were booked several weeks out. They called later that day and said they could complete the job the very next day. They showed up on time. There were 6 men there to help. They seemed to have the process down well. They were professional and courteous.

  • Wow...the MoldX cleaner with Sani Dry XP air system changed the odor of my old basement 100%. The representative for Basement Systems USA was thorough and the application got the job done. Thank you for the excellent service! My only regret is that I didn't contact this business sooner.

  • We had a hot water heater explode and they redid the entire basement - sprayed for mold, removed carpet, etc. Complete renovation. It went very well. I was completely happy with the job they did. They were very thorough and took care of airing it, drying it out.

  • Words can't describe how having a reliable and honest relationship with a contractor changes the results of a project. They will forever be my number one and only choice moving forward. Thanks to them and the work they had done in the humid heat of Baltimore during that July no less, speaks volumes to their character.

  • I was quite amazed at the work that was done by Old Time Contractors, Inc. Originally Basement Waterproofers came to my home and told me my house was going to fall down given the crack in my wall. They also told me it could only be fixed from the inside with a french drain system at over $20K. I received an estimate from Old Time Contractors, Inc. and they repaired the problem for half the cost. They repaired the problem from the outside and even repaired the crack. I did not have to have the inside of my basement torn up at all. I'm thrilled I found them as my contractor since my basement has not leaked since the work was completed.

  • All work went very well. We have no complaints. One of our aims was to replace old wood with new maintenance-free material. The contractor was very knowledgable about what materials were available to accomplish our goal & supplied those materials. We are beyond satisfied with Precision Builders & will definitely use them again for any future projects!

  • What a terrific job Tankmasters Inc. has done. After recently converting from oil heat to gas, our final step was to deal with the underground oil tank in the back yard. Not an easy task since it was right by our new deck and sidewalk and ornamental bush. In addition, we had underground drain pipes to handle excess rainwater, etc. We consulted with four different companies, and Tankmasters was the only one that said the State would allow tank abandonment under strict circumstances. They felt we met that criteria and represented us to the inspectors to avoid destroying the sidewalk, shrubbery and potentially the underground drain pipes. From the first phone call to the final inspection, Tankmaster staff was courteous, caring and did a wonderful job. They explained each step along the way and .made this necessary process a pleasant one. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs the services they offer.

  • Not too long ago the rain had left us with a wet basement and we decided to give Basement Systems USA a call. I was truly impressed with Jeff Yentzer. He calmly explained the problem as well as giving us different options to fix the issue. Secondly, I was impressed with the installation crew. They showed up in a timely manner, were very friendly and fast! It took them all but 1 day for the whole job and they left the place cleaner than it was before. When the foreman showed us their work I was impressed with the quality of the concrete work, the drywall replacement and how clean the work area was. The way the treated our basement was as if they were waterproofing their own basement.
A week after the work was done we had gotten a lot of rain that normally would have left about 2 inches of rain in our basement, but when we walked downstairs, fearing the worst, we were happy to find a completely dry basement! My wife said it was the best decision I ever made, besides marrying her of course!
We are looking to refinish our basement soon and we will definitely be contacting Jeff and Basement Systems USA again.

  • MY HOUSE IS 50 YEARS OLD.  WHEN I BOUGHT THE HOUSE 30 YEARS AGO, I NOTICED SOME WATER SEEPAGE ALONG THE PANEL MOLDING ON THE FLOOR IN THE BASEMENT.  WHEN I REMOVED THE WALL PANELING, THERE WAS A CRACK WHERE THE PREVIOUS 2 OWNERS DID SOME PATCH WORK.  I THEN DID SOME MORE PATCH WORK MYSELF.  FAST FORWARD 30 YEARS TO NOW - THE SEEPAGE CAME BACK.  I AGAIN REMOVED THE PANELING, DRILLED INTO THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE CONCRETE BLOCK AND SOME WATER DID COME OUT.  IF MY PREVIOUS PATCH WORK FROM 30 YEARS AGO WORKED, I FIGURED THAT I COULD DO IT AGAIN.  BUT BEFORE I DID THAT, I WANTED TO GET AN EXPERT IN TO GET ANOTHER ASSESSMENT.  I CALLED ARMORED BASEMENT ON A WEDNESDAY MORNING AND SPOKE WITH TARA.  SHE SET UP AN APPT. FOR THAT AFTERNOON FOR JAY BENGTSON TO COME OUT.  JAY CAME OUT PROMPTLY WITH THE PROPER EQUIPMENT.  JAY LISTENED TO ME REGARDING ALL THE BACKGROUND CONCERNING THE LEAK AND WHAT I HAVE DONE, BOTH OUTSIDE WITH THE LANDSCAPING AS WELL AS INSIDE WITH PREVIOUS PATCHING.  JAY DRILLED INTO THE WALL AND INSERTED HIS FLEXIBLE CAMERA TO GET AN ASSESSMENT.  JAY FELT THAT WHEN THE ORIGINAL BLOCK WAS LAID AND CONCRETE POURED, THERE MAY HAVE BEEN SOME SMALL POCKETS THAT WERE NOT SEALED CAUSING THE MINOR SEEPAGE.  JAY WAS INCREDIBLY HONEST IN HIS ASSESSMENT.  HE FELT THAT I COULD POUR CONCRETE INTO THE DRILLED HOLES TO FILL THE OPEN CHAMBERS IN THE CINDER BLOCK AND LETTING THAT CONCRETE SETTLE TO THE BOTTOM TO WHERE THE FOOTING IS, THAT ANY SLIGHT CRACKS IN THE BLOCKS COULD POSSIBLY BE SEALED.  THEN MORE PATCH WORK LIKE I PREVIOUSLY DID  WOULD TAKE CARE OF MY PROBLEM.  JAY TOLD ME TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE AREA AND IF DOWN THE ROAD THERE IS MORE SEEPAGE AND IT GETS WORSE THAN WAS IT HAS BEEN, THEN HIS COMPANY COULD COME OUT, DIG OUT THE OUTSIDE AREA AND SEAL EVERYTHING FROM THE OUTSIDE.  OF COURSE, THAT WOULD COST.  JAY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR HIS EVALUATION NOR FOR THE WORK THAT HE DID.  IN THIS DAY  AND AGE, HIS HONESTY WAS/IS INCREDIBLY REFRESHING.  I WILL CERTAINLY USE HIS COMPANY'S SERVICES IN THE FUTURE IF NEED BE AND I WILL CERTAINLY RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY TO OTHERS.
