Excellent company. Great communication. Scheduled two days for service. Completed in 1-1/2 days. Workers very professional and polite. Pricing very fair. Impressed they covered every floor area from front door to bathroom on second floor so nothing was damaged. I will use them again!

Can't say enough about how accommodating the team was for each change that became necessary. A real pleasure to work with Hassle Free. Quality of work is 5 star plus. The project came out better than we hoped for, on schedule and on budget. We are very, very happy customers.

Every bit of work was performed expertly andcwhen one part was better for a master electrician, he delivered one at a great price, and we moved on to the next task. Everyone was very friendly. They were early. They stayed late. Communication was awesome. Worked hard and did great work. I had flood mediation so the place was just torn up Before-hand. Id recommend them highly. Tell Mr. Samuel john sent you.

Dealing with O'Connor was very easy - they were super responsive in quoting and setting up the work. And their workers worked quickly and their clean up was very good. Cost wise, i don't know how they compare to others in the Gburg/Rockville area but if you want hi quality work done efficiently, go with O'Connor!

We first used Chevy Chase Remodeling for a small bathroom remodel in the summer of 2017. After a positive experience with Steve, we decided to use them for a full house remodel at a new property. The extensive remodel included a two story addition (garage and bedroom), outdoor landscaping, installing a gas fireplace with built in shelving and the complete gut and remodel of the kitchen, basement, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The workmanship throughout the entire job was exceptional. Their designer David provided innovative solutions that allowed us to open up the main level floor plan and redesign the kitchen layout. His plans for the addition were exactly as we envisioned. Steve and his team were quick to provide a solution to issues encountered in the remodel and were extremely accommodating. Chevy Chase Remodeling truly transformed this property into our dream home!

From the beginning, it was indeed hassle free. Mickey Teff, the owner came out to the house and we had a preliminary discussion. We then received a computer design without charge and met with the designer, made modifications, chose colors, counter tops, cabinets, sink, etc. and after all that, we signed a contract. The project took less than 4 weeks from start to finish and the crew was very helpful and neat, moving things around to minimize the inconvenience. We couldn't be happier.

This was my third project with JWHI. Alexey has been on all three projects and is a remarkable worker. This last one turned into a huge project with need for attention to a lot of unexpected work and details of finish. Alex and William were right on time each day and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were also very careful and cognizant of my pets and took precautions to keep them out of the work space. Now let's get to the work itself. I t was spectacular and exceeded my expectations in ways I could not have imagined. The difference between a dark and dank paneled room and the bright white and open room is beyond belief. I walked down into my kitchen when I got home last night and was just taken away. When Alex and William finished the job yesterday, they put the rugs and furniture back into place as well as they could making it possible for me to reclaim my family room after 9 days. I still have to put things on shelves and rearrange some of my "stuff". The bottom line is that the work was well done and the transformation so great. Which is why I have used Alex and JWHI three times now. I am sure there will be additional projects down the way. Thank you JWHI!

The workers arrived on time each of the two days the project took. They were extremely neat and thorough. One room was wallpapered. They protected the wallpaper from being damaged from their work. Further, their price was very reasonable (had other bids).

Excellent! I had the crew out last year to do some painting in our office so I knew they'd do a great job this year after our recent renovations. William and the guys were professional, quick, quiet, and very pleasant. My colleagues were commenting again on how thoroughly they cleaned up afterwards.

We waited a year and a half to write this review because we wanted to see how everything would hold up before writing about it.  We are still very happy with the results after all this time!
We were living in Illinois while coordinating renovations on our new house in Maryland (we bought my parents' old house, my parents were still living there).  They were very responsive to emails and phone calls throughout the process.
    The paint job was perfect!
The carpeting on the 2nd level was good too, except for a slight bump on the very top step that wasn't there before.
The hardwood floors were refinished and stained to the exact color we wanted, although the flooring contractors were harder to work with.  They delayed the job by a day or two with last minute notice.  Due to the smell of the staining, we had already arranged for my parents to stay at a hotel during the flooring work, so we had to extend their stay at the hotel which was an added cost on our part.
The hardest part to plan without physically being there was how to remodel the kitchen.  But Luis did a great job working with us over the phone, and sending pictures through email/text back and forth until we worked it out.  We basically had them take out the entire kitchen and start over.  We also changed the layout of the kitchen.  The wall between the kitchen and dining room was taken down, they had to add a support beam since it was a weight bearing wall.  We switched the locations of the refrigerator and stove and added an island.  At first we wanted to refinish the old kitchen cabinets but Luis told us about a sale at Home Depot.  He priced out how much it would be to get new cabinets and it wasn't much more than refinishing the old ones.  Plus we would be able to reconfigure the kitchen exactly how we wanted to, instead of having to work with what was available with the old cabinets.  Luis took care of ordering the new cabinets and making sure of all of the timelines were met. (I believe they finished a week behind our initial schedule, but that was due to the wait time for the new cabinets and we knew that would happen with choosing to get new cabinets instead of using the old ones.) There was an issue with spacing with the new island but Luis came up with a plan to work it out.  The shelving in our pantry was nailed into a pipe when this house was built, removing the nails from the shelving would cause leaks, but Diego came up with a way to fix it.
There were a few small issues that we've come across.  We asked them to fix spots on the floor on the 2nd level that were squeaky before laying down the new carpet but it seems that it wasn't done because the same spots are still squeaky.  There's a bump on the top step of the stairs that wasn't there before the new carpeting.  One cabinet drawer and one cabinet door in our kitchen broke already, but I think that's just due to the quality of the Home Depot cabinets.  One GFCI outlet was placed in a spot that didn't need it (on the side of the island), and they didn't put a GFCI outlet in a place that actually needed it (by the sink).  A few tiles on the kitchen floor aren't as flat as the other tiles but it's not enough of a difference to cause a problem.
During the renovations, we moved in while my parents still lived at the house so we had double the amount of furniture.  L&G were so accommodating in moving all that furniture back and forth between different rooms as their worked on each section of the house.  I was really grateful for their willingness to accommodate our moving situation.  It really eased my mind when they would keep telling me "don't worry, we will take care of it" when it came to things like that which didn't really have to do with the renovations.  I just felt bad that it was extra work for them.
Communication with us and also between the contractors could have been better, but it didn't cause problems as far as the work was concerned.  Attention to detail could have been a little better too, the small issues listed above could have easily been avoided and made the job go from good to great.  But all in all, they were good to work with, punctual, friendly, and very reasonably priced compared to other quotes that we received.  We would definitely use them again for future work on our house!
