    Giant Pharmacy
Picked up refill of Provigil, a very expensive drug often sold illegally as a "smart" drug.  Label on bottle said it contained 60.  Pharmacist made no comment and full payment was made.  When we got home opened bottle and saw far fewer than 60 pills in container. Counted pills and found only 30 in bottle.  Saw that under Giant label was a different label stating 30 pills in container.  Called pharmacy, was told, oh, we were short.  We should have a resupply by the end of the week, so you can come in and pick up the remainder of the refill Friday.   We responded that nothing was said about this when we  picked up the refill; we think you should deliver it to us.  The pharmacist agreed it would be brought to our house Friday.  Later that same day someone from the pharmacy arrived at our door saying  they had found they had more in stock after all, and gave us a bottle containing another 30 pills.  The bag containing the bottle said, "deliver on Friday."
We called to express our concern about this experience to the pharmacy manager, who said the pharmacy had gone out of their way to get us some more pills but she would definitely reprimand the employee responsible, and she's sure there was nothing more than carelessness involved.  I then called the store manager, who interrupted my description of what had happened to say he would get the information from the pharmacist and I didn't need to tell him the details.  Feeling that my concern does not seem to be taken seriously, I called the customer service line today (Friday) saying I'd like to talk to the regional manager.  The person taking the customer service call said it sounded to her like I got very good service since the pharmacy had delivered the pills to my home, and she was sure nothing but carelessness was involved.  But she would have the regional manager call me early next week to hear my concern. I pointed out that it's only because we counted the pills that we discovered we had been shorted.
We have had careless service from this particular Giant pharmacy in the past, including being given the wrong medication for a refill on one occasion and a prescription faxed from a physician's office sitting undiscovered in the fax machine while the pharmacy staff person said the prescription had not been received.  So it's possible nothing worse than incompetence is involved, but nobody expressed an intention to investigate.

    CVS Pharmacy
The wait was interminable.  There were three people behind the counter and none of them came to the counter to ask what I wanted until 15 minutes had passed.  When the clerk finally came to the counter, she found my prescription and slammed it on the counter as if I was interrupting something she was doing.
This is not the first time that I have had to wait a long time with as many as 5 people behind the counter supposedly there to help customers.  On one occasion,  a pharmacy clerk tried to help me, but was told by another employee to stop, since she didn't have enough training.  The wait continued.
I use this CVS because it is convenient and my insurer uses them for coverage.

The pharmacist and the staff were very helpful upon my arrival and throughout and helping me pick the medication needed for me.  When I asked for generic meds they were more than willing to provide information along with product and price.  They gave me, I felt, all the needed medication information so there would be no issues.  Very good

    RITE AIDE
I used to get my pharmaceutical products from another store and even after ten years they could never locate my information.  Rite Aid finds my information and my husband's information immediately.  They have an automatic refill call back.  If my prescription starts to run low I get a reminder from them.  They are very courteous.  If my prescription doesn't have any refills they will contact my doctor to get authorization for additional medication.  They automatically go to the person's name and the prescription is right there so I'm not waiting for a person to filter through envelopes.  They are very fast.

I arrived there"One Minute Clinic" at the back of the CVS at about 230 PM on a Saturday. I was the first in line and the clinician was with someone for about 10 minutes. I signed in while waiting. While I was waiting 2 more people came in. A store employee who was stocking shelves asked if we needed extra chairs and if we had signed in. She did a complete examination and got my complete medical history. She diagnosed me with a sinus and ear infection and prescribed amoxicillin and gave me an education handout regarding sinus infections. She asked me in what way do I prefer to learn new information; read, hear, learn online etc", a key question when dealing with a diverse population. She was thorough, approachable and friendly, not hasty or stressed out like my personal doctor. It was a perfect medical experience. These clinics are a god send on the weekend and this clincian was excellent.

They are very good and I?ve never really had a problem with them. They answer questions when asked but they can do better at their customer service. I have no basis for comparison of prices and I couldn?t even compare them even though we have prescriptions filled at another pharmacy. Since we have insurance, there is standard copay that we need to pay.

They are very good and I?ve never really had a problem with them. They answer questions when asked and they are good at their customer service. There are a couple of staffers there who are really good and who recognize you from time to time. The staff is very proficient and I like them very well. They speak English very clearly which I think is important when you are taking prescription names over the telephone. They are very good about helping you, and they try to make sure that you get your medications on time.

This is the best pharmacy I've ever been to. They are very friendly and familiar (they remember my name). They are always very helpful. If they don't have a prescription in stock they will call you when they get it in.
