Friendly professional service right when I needed it. I requested a 9am appointment the next morning and Kap was there right on time and ready to go. He helped me out with an additional issue with my bathroom sink. I felt the prices were fair and the service was outstanding!

Ismael was thorough and complete. He used a camera to show me the blockage caused by dirt accumulation and then showed the pictures of the clear pipes after he snaked them. I would definitely use them again.

Simple clogged toilet. Guy wanted $1,100.00 to pull the toilet and snake the pipe. That wasnt necessary, as I tried to explain to him. He did not want to try a plunger or simple auger. Charged me $49.00 for the call and let my dog out of the front door without telling me. Terrible experience. Dont believe their advertisements.

    Metropolitan Repairs
Metropolitan repairs did multiple jobs for me in different properties in Bethesda, including full bathroom remodels, water heater, toilet and main water shut-off replacement, and most recently, water line leak repair. I've been using them for a few years now and never had any issues, so my review is long overdue. They are reasonably priced, punctual and efficient. I highly recommend them!

I was able to get same-day service. The technician arrived within the scheduled time. After I explained the steps already taken to clear the drain, he surmised correctly that it needed to be snaked. We went to the basement to find the pipes in order for him to see how many feet of snaking needed to be done. Having done that, he did the job efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. This is a nice family business and if Tyler is representative of the whole family, I can see why they are so successful. They will be first on my list from now on when I need a plumber.

It went ok. In the end, the drain was cleared and draining well. The shower parts were replaced as requested and working. Also, the folks in the office who set up the appointment were very nice and responsive. Ok, so here's why I wouldn't use this company again: 1. The technician apparently never tested the shower after installing as they were ready to leave and collect payment before I went and tested it. Glad I did, because they didn't tighten the connections well enough to the point the shower head was leaking bad from where it screws on. An easy fix, but figured they would have run the shower and tub before asking for payment. 2. I mentioned that the tub spout still dripped a little while the shower was running but that was probably a Delta issue not theirs. The technician told me what I bought was crap from Home Depot, even though I didn't buy it from Home Depot. Even more annoying was I originally asked if I could buy parts through them and they told me to go to Home Depot find something I liked and then buy it online from Amazon or another retailer, which I did. Regardless, not a very professional comment in my opinion. 3. The technician apparently pulled a lot of dental floss from the drain, which surprised me as we never put dental floss in the drain. But it also explained why the drain never quite worked as it should and progressively got worse with more hair being trapped. Despite that the technician told me that "we" needed to stop doing that. We are the third owners of the house, so I guess some prior owner did as we never had the drain snaked before. Anyway, I didn't appreciate his assumption/accusation that we were doing that. He went as far as to include it on the invoice/service report - Exact quote "...pulled back a lot of hair in dental floss drain is relieved at this time but owner needs to stop putting dental floss down the drains". 4. The technician also told me to stop "slamming down" the spout cut off. I never did. I pushed it down once when the water was running and once when it was not as it did not go down automatically when I was testing after they finished. But he was insistent that he "heard" me slamming it down several times, and that would damage the seal. I appreciate the advice, but again, didnt appreciate the attitude. 5. The technician carried away all trash, but also carried away all parts that he was replacing, some that were still in good working order without asking if I wanted them. I had to ask for them back as I might be able to use the shower head again which was still in good condition. 6. Finally, the technician originally quoted $1100 to do the whole job. I had a little bit of sticker shock so he offered some alternatives, i.e. not replacing everything since the shower head and valve still worked. I appreciated that, but we wanted the new valve and shower head as it had automatic temperature control. So I asked if there was any way they could do it for $1000. They said yes since I'm an Angie's list customer. At the time I appreciated the discount but after I paid, they gave me the invoice on which it states - "Angie's List 10% Off (up to $125)". Last time I checked 10% of $1100 was $110, not $100. It's only $10 difference, but if you are going to offer a 10% discount, you should honor it and not discount the discount because I only asked for $100 off. Just annoyed by that one. In the end, most of this is small annoying stuff that may not matter to some, but to me, it adds up and all of it couldn't have been avoided with just a little more effort on the customer service side. When I'm spending $1000 or more I tend to expect a little more on that end, which is why I wouldn't hire again.

Exceptionally well. Mr. Win asked if he could "start from scratch"and employ less drastic measures to determine blockage vs. break. He resnaked, using a thicker and longer snake. It was a blockage which the snaking dispersed. He then sent a camera through to be sure all was well with the pipes. He thoroughly discussed and explained what he was doing and why. He literally saved us thousands of dollars with his logical approach to the problem. We recommend him without reservation.

    Coleman's Plumbing Inc
Mark provided a reasonable time window and arrived within the time provided. He looked at the work to be done, asked questions and ensured he knew where the master shut off was prior to beginning work. He entered the premises wearing covers over his shoes and removed and replaced them each time he exited and entered the property. Mark provided a detailed description of what he found as he disconnected the toilet as well as what he did to install the new toilet and shut off valve. He made sure that i understood the work he was doing and why. Mark was not only professional, but had a pleasant, positive demeanor. Mark completed the work timely and unrushed, testing everything to ensure proper operation. All in all, a superb experience on all fronts.

    Remedy Plumbing and Drain Cleaning
I called this morning about 10:30 or so. He said he could get to me by 4 or so this afternoon. Water in stairwell above doorsill when he got here (before 4).. He got right to work and cleared out the clog very quickly. Made sure water was draining without a hitch. That same stairwell had flooded 8 months ago.

The guys were prompt and professional. They explained everything they did. Very courteous. Did the job quickly and efficiently. Cleaned up after they finished. Seemed a little pricey for the amount of work required, but I didn't get a competitive bid/estimate, so I don't have a real good comparison. They will be my first call next time I need a plumber, but I might try to shop around for a better price if it's a bigger job.
