    Suburban Auto Body
    A body shop that does not seem to care about your body or their human body. I was shocked to see office staff not masked up when customers came in. Not a fluke, on both of my visits in this cramped office in October 2020, staff not using masks, plus no plastic barriers at the service desk, and no hand sanitizer for customers. Did they not get the 2020 memo that a pandemic is in progress?! (This was October 2020, months in to Covid.) Not a good experience. No updates on how car repair was going, they had the car for 2 weeks. In this day of texting and e-mail, unacceptable lack of communication. After 13 days I called and did not get a return phone call, I had to walk down to Suburban to learn the status of my vehicle's broken sunroof glass, not a huge job here to fix here folks. When I asked about my call not being returned they said the answering machine was somewhere in the back shop and they had not gotten to it. My insurance adjuster said he also had turtle slow responses from Suburban. You can do better folks, do shop around. When I asked about them not wearing masks during customer visits, they just shrugged. Customers were wearing a mask like myself, but not the folks in the front office at Suburban! Dr. Fauci, please come and visit these Suburban Auto Body folks and educate them to protect me and themselves, for the good of all.

    BATTERY WAREHOUSE
    TERRIBLE - i TOOK A BATTERY TO BE CHECKED. THE MAN DID NOT LIKE WHERE I SET THE BATTERY DOWN. HE STARTED SCREAMING OBSCENITIES AT ME. HE THEN ASSAULTED ME - HE PUSHED ME. HE CONTINUED TO SHOUT OBSCENITIES AT ME AND THREANTENED TO ASSAULT ME TWO MORE TIMES. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH CUSTOMERS OR THE PUBLIC UNTIL HE HAS COMPLETED ANGER MANAGEMENT TRAINING.

    I love these guys!! At first I was surprised at the price😤 but I was soon put at ease with their kindness and willingness to help😁. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and understood why they fixed what they fixed. They even changed my oil for free and ordered me a new gas cap and had it delivered since I was missing my old one. Later I went back for a different problem and they confirmed my transmission was slipping. I decided to fix it somewhere less expensive and they still helped me drive my car home and gave me many options about what I could do to go about fixing my car or selling it. They also offered me a loner car to drive while I figured it out. They really did their very best to help me when I didn't have anywhere else to turn. I felt like I was with my dad or uncles or brothers. They were very helpful and I would recommend them to people who wanted top notch service and top notch care🏆.     These folks are the "go to guys" for audio and automotive electronics. All of their employees are hard working professionals, who know their craft. The service writer, Brian, made constructive suggestions to ensure an ideal outcome. Same with the owner, Gary. A gentleman, scholar and a "straight shooter." As an engineer, I know that good work isn't cheap and cheap work, isn't any good. You get true value for your hard earned money, and the Hurley's backs, what it sells and installs.

    These guys are awful. They tried to charge me $2000 for something that I got fixed at a different shop for $200. My vehicle needed a turbo wastegate solenoid. They told me the solenoid could not be replaced and I had to get a whole new turbocharger. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed that the solenoid could absolutely be replaced and the part cost $74. I told them what they said and they didn't care. They even tried to charge be a diagnosis fee even though when I dropped off the vehicle I told them the diagnostic had already been done...I just needed the solenoid replaced. YOU SHOULD NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE...BEWARE

    Their work is superior and the fact that they have Saturday hours is so convenient.  During the week they also have a shuttle service around the Herndon area, so you can drop off your car and they'll take you to work if it is nearby.  Anyway, we had requested that they change the oil and just do the oversight that goes with that.  They did their usual great job, but in addition somehow got confused and rotated the tires.  We normally don't do it at Autoscandia because we have a free lifetime service at the location where we bought the tires.  Autoscandia removed the tire rotation charge from our bill since it was their mistake.  I really appreciate the service that we get from Autoscandia.  Their work is clean, timely and always fair.

    I was introduced to Dave's Automotive about 6 years ago and I would not take our cars anywhere else for repairs. Dave is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and honest. Dave always explains the work to be performed so that I can understand, does not push work that is not needed and has always given me what I feel are very fair prices. I would highly recommend Dave's Automotive.

    Since I have a maintenance contract with Ford, the work went very well. Olivia, my service adviser, kept me informed for all the work that had to be done. Because I have the Ted Britt for Life capability, I was given a loaner car and was able to go about my business without a hitch. Due to the amount of work required, they worked on the car over night, and I was able to pick up the car the next morning.

    He is kind of eccentric I think in one way. If he finds something that needs to be fixed he'll fix it, but it's always a very reasonable charge. Sometimes I get there and there's something done that I hadn't asked to be done. And I really don't mind that. They are things that if he had told me about I would say "oh we have to get that done." You have to make an appointment two weeks in advance to get into him because he's good and he's reasonable.
