We ordered work to waterproof our basement, after a season flooding. I had already shopped for estimates; this one seemed like the best value and quality. Ronald Coleman provided the estimate and I appreciated his straightforwardness and candor in walking me through the work. Rhonda Plaine on the phone was helpful and friendly in helping me to schedule the order and navigate the payment options. It turned out that I also needed to have my external, basement staircase rebuilt, as well, and Ronald and Rhonda helped to add that to the quote and reschedule the work as needed. No flooding since the work was done. I would recommend this company.

    Basement Innovations Waterproofing
Prior to the job, I had a few questions which were answered to my satisfaction. On the day of the job, Anthony (the crew chief) and his crew arrived exactly on time (actually a few minutes early, which I appreciate). Anthony and team were totally professionally and really nice... when we had an unexpected issue (the width of the well for the sump pump was larger than could fit in the closet where we originally wanted it, to put it out of the way) they worked with us (patiently) until we found an acceptable solution. Also, when Anthony discovered a previously unknown pipe that was used possibly as a unused (no fan) radon system, he got me to let me know about it. From Mike the sales rep to Brian at the front office to Anthony and his team (Billy etc), everyone was totally professionally, and the job that was done was first rate. I say "first rate" only for two reasons... the first is when our contractor came over a week later to assess the job for putting the new dry wall/ tile back in, he really marvelled at the job and said "these guys did a great job" (and he knows a lot more than me about this stuff)... and the second reason is that it just down poured today and normally we would had a quarter inch of water in our basement and now it's totally dry... so far so good!! THANKS Basement Innovations!!

    Triad Basement Waterproofing Inc
We had recurring water in basement since our home was built in 2013. A water main break directly in front of our home seemed to exacerbate the situation. We contacted Triad and had work done in April 2017. We got a quote for digging up the concrete along our basement foundation wall, installing a new french drain system, replacing our sump pump, and fixing a couple cracks/leaks in our foundation. The estimate was $5950 (same as the final price). Our expectations were totally exceeded. The crew was prompt, professional and quick. They did the above work in 1 day. It was amazing to see. Since their work is guaranteed for life, we called when we had an issue with our sump pump about 2 months ago. I got a return call within 12 hours (on a Sunday morning) and had someone out to fix it (a bad flapper) on Monday afternoon. Best of all, we have not had a drop of water in our basement since the work was done and we have had a LOT of water. We HIGHLY recommend!!!

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
BMW installed our basement egress window in the summer of 2016. We had several companies bid on the project, both higher and lower cost estimates, and ultimately chose to go with BMW. Their CEO, Randall, personally came out and scoped the project - and even offered advice for me on how to finish the basement. The crew were effective and carefully avoided mature shrubs to dig the massive hole, even laid a tarp down to keep the dirt from ruining the sod, even a vinyl tarp inside my basement to keep dust and smoke fumes down from the gas axe. The project was completed on time, and the only hiccup was they had brought the wrong well, which they were able to bring the correct one the very next day. Further the egress passed inspection on the first try, and 2 years later we haven't had a single issue or leak. And there was plenty of rain this year to test it! Easy to work with and very helpful in explaining all the options we could have taken with the sump pump installation. Zero complaints. They know what they are doing - true pros.

    NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
The person who came to evaluate and give me a quote was excellent. The delay for the work was unreasonable and the date kept moving around. The quality of work seems fine. The administrative office seems confused and chaotic. The invoice did not account for my 1/3 down payment. I had to call several times for scheduling issues and payment.

    NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Was delayed and disorganized office which tried to further delay the appointment. They also did not realized that I paid them a down payment and tried to charge me the whole amount at the end of the job.

    Basement Waterproofing Nationwide Inc
The initial meeting in July for a quote with Dave was very professional. Their price for the proposed repair was very competitive. Due to the impressions I had with BWN with this initial meeting, I went ahead and scheduled the repair for a date at the end of August. I received a call the day before my scheduled date that my repair will have to be rescheduled for 8AM the next day. Although this was an inconvenience since I already took off of work to be home during the repair, I agreed to it. The next morning, 9AM came and went, and BWN was not present. There were no phone calls made that BWN was going to be late. I had to call BWN at 9AM to find out when they would be present to start the work. They told me they were caught up at another worksite, and would be at my house at 11:30AM. 12:00 noon then came and went, and still neither a sign of BWN at my house nor a phone call to let me know they were going to be late once more. I called BWN again and they told me they would be at my house at 1:30PM. Finally BWN shows up at my house around 2:00PM, 6 hours after the scheduled time. They then notify me that the scope of work was greater than they anticipated and that an extra worker would be needed. Accordingly they concluded that they would need to reschedule my repair. However, the next available date for my repair will be in a little over 2 weeks! This entire scheduling process has been extremle unprofessional. BWN will keep pushing you back on their schedule at their convenience, not yours, failing to live up to their initial promises. In addition, there is a lack of communication and punctuality on days of scheduled work. If other companies I initially gathered quotes from were not already booked up farther in the calendar than BWN, I'd have elected to go with them to not deal with this unprofessionalism. Save yourself the stress. Go with another company.

    Koppers Quality Waterproofing
If I could give zero stars, I would. We had Tony come out to do an estimate in July. After no estimate was sent, we called to follow up. A week later, I got a call from their office stating they wouldn't be submitting a bid because they were too busy. I stated that after waiting for a month to get the estimate, I thought it was highly unprofessional of them to not even bother submitting a bid. I was told the lady at the office was sorry but she was buried in paperwork because she had been out on vacation for two weeks. DON"T USE THEM!!! They will leave you waiting only to say your job isn't worth their time because they have higher paying jobs available!! BEWARE!!!!!

Concrete Master Solutions & Home Improvement
Eder and his crew were punctual, responsive to changes during the process and professional in executing the work. I have since used Concrete Masters to refinish my basement (new drywall, new laminate flooring, lighting, new bathroom and associated finish work).

    Budget Waterproofing Inc
Budget Waterproofing was the third company I called to get a quote. Experience with the first two companies was very negative: they gave very high estimates and used high pressure sales tactics to force us into signing the contract. On the contrary, Mike Kenny, the sales rep for Budget, didn't push me to commit. He was also very flexible and willing to help us minimize the disruption - whereas the other two companies insisted that dry wall and base boards had to be cut (and of course they do not put anything back, one has to hire someone else to repair the walls), Mike agreed to leave the dry wall and base boards in place and instead go under the walls by breaking the cement floor along the interior perimeter. He also didn't insist on ruining the bathroom (the other two companies insisted that unless 100% of the perimeter was trenched, they would not give the warranty), which was a very big deal for us since it would have involved breaking the tile, removing the toilet and shower, etc. Budget's price for 110 linear feet of the drain system was 40% that of the other companies ($6K vs 15K+), and also came with a lifetime warranty. Scheduling of the work was seamless - we had to wait one week for the work to begin. The crew showed up at the expected time. The first day they didn't make much progress because the floor turned out to be too difficult for the regular jack hammer; so they left early and promised to return the next day with a jack hammer compressor. Due to the toughness of the floor, the job took 5 days instead of the originally anticipated 3-4, but they didn't ask for any additional money. The only minor issue was that the owners refused to allow the crew to work during the weekend to finish the job (so as not to pay them overtime), so we had to wait until Monday for them to finish. The crew was very professional and worked very hard. Thank you Dave, Minor, Larry and Jose. We got very lucky because less than 4 hours after they finished, we had a whole week of rainy weather, which gave us a perfect opportunity to test the system. It worked perfectly! A month later, we finally laid the floor and put the basement back in order. The company also sent me a thank you email with a reminder of how to get in touch in case of any problems and a promise to pay $75 for each referral. Overall, I would highly recommend them, especially when compared to how desperate I felt after having dealt with the first two companies. P.S. One word of advice: you cannot spend too much time covering your things! The dust from the floor is incredibly fine and will penetrate anything, so remove whatever you can and triple cover the rest.
