WOW! What an experience. I usually shrug off all companies that knock on the door but on that day I decided to take the free estimate. After meeting with Miguel I felt as if I would give them a shot at the project. The install went absolutely perfect and the job finished within 2 days for Windows/siding/gutters. Overall I am very impressed and would absolutely chose them again in the future.

Dan Roberson gave me an estimate the day after I called and recommended insulation for the roof and second-floor ceiling. He seemed honest and down-to-earth, unlike other insulation contractors I'd called who just seemed interested in selling me an expensive whole-house job. |His crew came to do the work about a week later. The crew was neat and showed my husband and I their work, both while it was being done and through photos they snapped of things that were harder to see. The job was supposed to take half to a full day. They arrived at 7 a.m. and left at 10, so it took less than that. They cleaned up after finishing their work, and the only noticeable signs they were there are the spots they cut in the drywall to access the wall space, which we will patch soon. Since they've been here, the impact on our home environment has been incredible. Our heater has worked harder because it's been so much colder, but our entire home -- especially the second floor -- is retaining heat much better. I am looking forward to feeling the difference that the insulation makes this summer, when the second floor of our house is often at least 10 degrees hotter than our main floor.

It is difficult to say how much we spent on insulation, as the job was done along with siding.  The cost for the whole project was about $11,000.

Casas del Sol had another company do the insulation, in my understanding.   Cases del Sol was very professional, responsive, and timely.  They also follow up with Christmas cards and such every year.  I like how they keep in touch with their clients.  I have called the owner of Cases del Sol to inquire about some other matters, and he remembers me and maintains a very friendly, professional manner.

It is difficult to judge the quality of insulation.  But we believe we got good service and a good product.

I met company representatives at the October 2010 Home Show in Upper Marlboro. They offered a radiant barrier product called eshield and a free estimate. The Sales Manager came to my home. He was very personable. I did not feel any pressure to commit or buy on the spot. He answered all of my questions with what seemed to be very balanced, realistic answers. I was able to see a sample of the product and a hands on demonstration of how well it worked. He provided internet links to find out more about the product. He measured my attic. We discussed my options. He provided an estimate on the spot with no pressure to sign a contract. He provided a balanced view of the company and we discussed other services they were strong in like designing and building decks which I was interested in. The company gave me a follow up call about a week later and the Sales Manager came out to my house another time to answer more questions that I had about insulation in general. I decided not to purchase the eshield product because I felt it would not meet my needs at this time. I decided to insulate with cellulose before using a radiant barrier. They quoted me a price, but only use fiberglass. I chose to hire another contractor who had performed my energy audit, specialized in doing energy efficiency related work, and would use cellulose. I do, however, plan on contacting Premier in the future when looking for deck design and building services, because of the positive experience I had with them this time.

A positive experience and the tile work was done well. They also insulated and sided the house in the past.
