    My husband and I returned from vacation to find that our aging A/C unit had stopped working. We knew when we purchased our home that this day would come in the near future given the age of the equipment and declining performance over the past couple of summers. I called Cool Breeze and spoke with a very nice woman to set up an appointment for a tech to come out right away. While the furnace has mostly been fine, we knew this was going to be a total replacement due to compatibility between a new AC and our old furnace which I mentioned on the call. The tech who came out did some temporary fix but we were told that this wasn't going to last long and that we needed a complete replacement. The visit cost $70 including the time for the temporary fix and the consultation. This was about a month ago and despite multiple calls to get the estimate, I have received nothing because the owner has to review it and has been unavailable. I'm looking to spend thousands of dollars with this company so I really can't understand why after a month of waiting and repeatedly calling, I still have nothing in hand, especially given that this is the only company I had to pay to come out. Sigh...

    The serviceman was excellent, knowledgeable, personable, and very efficient. He did a great job resolving leak, and helping with the ceiling repair. He also diagnosed another potential problem. I have since had the company back for additional work. I really appreciate the warmth and professionalism of the office staff. I have the highest regard for Sila.

    This tune up went very well. Renee showed up on time and was very polite. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me all about my A/C system and what exactly he was checking. We ended up replacing a filter and adding some refrigerant to my outdoor unit. The whole thing took about an hour, and my duct temperature went down ten degrees before he hit the road. I would recommend this service to anyone.

    Slade was very professional.  He came to my home, asked for details about our concerns regarding the air conditioner unit.  He was lead to the item and from there he assessed what wasn't happening when the unit was turned on.  Slade checked from the unit and its inner components to the vents inside our home.  He was very thorough with his assessment of the situation and was able to detect a solution within approx. 40 min. of being at our home.  He worked on the unit until it was up and working, cooling off our environment.

    Slade kept my husband and I fully informed of what he was doing and why the entire time.  We were very please with his performance and would definitely use his services again.  He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional.  You couldn't ask for a better contractor.

    I used this provider through my home warranty company. The guy showed up, took my $75 fee and performed some work. At the end of the job, he told my wife that he needed to come back to finish the job. He never provided her with a receipt or an itemized list of what he did. I found that to be odd.. I spoke with him later that day and he said he would be coming back. He came back, used big words and talked quickly, almost like he was trying to steer me away from the problem/work that needed done. I requested a receipt of the work performed and he said that he does not do receipts, he uses electronic receipts. I asked for one, and he still never provided it. He said he was going to come back to the house to do more tests, which he did on two or three other occasions. All of the times he came back, neither my wife or I were home. He never announced when he was going to come. He finally came and did more work, and got us a receipt electronically, which still did not fully describe what was done and what needed to be done. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    Lowe's provided a very good, thorough and professional service at what was a very reasonable rate in my opinion.  The crew of 2 arrived within a half hour of the start time frame provided upon booking the service and called to provide us with a heads up of their arrival.  They stayed on site for almost 4 hours and thoroughly taped and cleaned all ducts within the home.  Scheduling was about 2 weeks out at the time of booking so keep that in mind.  Overall, we were very pleased with the service.  We purchased this through an AngiesList deal but even at full cost, I believe it was a reasonable price for the service performed.

    The logs are great, however, we have had multiple issues with scheduling the installation and subsequent inspections. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. 
    1) The team that came to install the gas logs (after the line had already been installed) were over an hour late after they had given us a window of 0730-1600. The team was very rude and not apologetic. I actually asked them to leave and have us reschedule with another crew for installation because I wasn't comfortable with them in our home.
    2) This one deserves its own category...we have had multiple issues with scheduling the final inspection. Multiple reasons have been given by Cyprus. I have taken off two days of work after scheduling the final inspections through Cyprus. Both times, nobody has showed to conduct the inspection. When calling Cyprus to see what happened, the first time I was told that the inspector saw that I had a "Beware of Dog" sign on my yard and that they were scared of dogs and thus didn't even try to complete the inspection. We were never called by the inspector to let us know. The second time, we were told that the inspection was cancelled by the inspector and we were never notified. Two days of leave wasted. Again, neither time were they apologetic and was told, "there's nothing we can do." 
    3) Cyprus was supposed to wait to charge the final payment for this installation on my credit card after the final inspection was completed. I checked my statement last month, and they ran the final charge on the installation was made even though they had not completed the final inspection which is a violation of their sales agreement/contract. 
    I discourage anyone from using Cyprus Air mainly related to how many days of leave I have wasted and the stress of having to deal with their poor, unapologetic customer service. Otherwise, I love the logs but I regret not going with another company.

    It went great!  It was "painless" from the beginning to end. The business agent gave me options on a unit and great help with no interest financing. The two techs were on time, explained the basics to me, installed it beautifully, were friendly, professional, took care of my plants and cleaned up beautifully.

    We highly recommend Bob Baker's Golden Service.
    We've used Bob Baker's over the years to fix occasional problems with my furnace or AC. They've always been prompt, and performed good work (One time the mechanic found a very minor fix and didn't even charge me for the visit.) Our 25 year old AC developed a freon leak, and it would have been expensive to find it, fix it, and recharge the system (over $100/lb for the old freon), with a good likelihood that another leak could develop.
    I scheduled someone to come out to provide me an estimate, and as usual they gave me a window of time their technician would arrive. John Parker arrived at the very beginning of the appointment window. He took very extensive measurements and pictures of the furnace and ductwork, as well as the location where the new exterior unit would be located, and the run in between. He then discussed with me issues related to the job, such as the need for a pump for the condensation line (which would be lower than the drain for the old unit), the various replacement options, their efficiency ratings, and how my old furnace would affect the efficiency. The next day, he emailed me with quotes for 4 different options (2 brands, 2 models each).
    I contacted 4 or 5 other companies, and got call backs from 2. One called me back right away and scheduled an appointment. Their technician took just a few quick measurements and then was ready to go. I asked him to provide me with a few quotes for different makes and models. The next day he emailed me one quote. I responded asking for more, and he sent just one more. The prices were cheaper than Bob Baker's, but there wasn't quite the attention to detail.
    On Monday, with a party scheduled at our house the following Sunday, I didn't want to risk not having AC, so I decided I didn't have time to get any more quotes. I was waffling over whether to go cheap or go known quality. I called the other company to see when they could schedule the work, and the person wasn't able to tell me at the moment, but off the top of her head said it would be the following week (after the party). I called Bob Baker's and they said they could start on Wednesday morning. I opted for the best unit they quoted to me. An hour later, they called me back to say they couldn't get that unit in time, asked if I'd accept an upgrade to a better unit at no extra cost. Well, of course!
    A team of three men arrived on time Wednesday morning, and immediately started laying down cardboard and blankets to protect the flooring and carpet. They were careful moving equipment through the yard and house, causing no damage. My wife and I stayed out of the way as they worked. They were polite and professional. Several hours later, they were finished. Our house was cooling, and it was a lot quieter outside compared to the 25 year old AC. They left no debris behind, and even swept up after themselves.
    Overall, a great experience, and I'm sure we'll continue to rely on Bob Baker's in the future.

    Service was better than I expected.  Joey had no problem with me observing the entire service.  He was absolutely wonderful in explaining everything he did. In addition he answered my questions thoroughly and provided lots of tips and advice for maintaining my system. He did not recommended any additional additional costs.  The service was as fact, better than advertised in my opinion because I also learned all about my system.
