    Drain Sights LLC
Our sump was not running and we were getting water in the basement. We called them out to see if the sump pump drainage lines were clogged. Mike ran a camera though the drain lines and it was revealed to be clear. This saved us $4000 as proposed by another contractor who wanted to put new lines in. My only complaint is that they should have been more proactive in letting me know they were going to be late.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Roto Rooter did an excellent job! They responded quickly to our request for emergency service, even though it was 9:30pm. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He snaked other drains in the house as well.

    Rooter-Man
My tub had been getting increasingly more clogged and my "home remedies" did nothing to improve things. I found Rooter Man on Angie's list and called them on a Monday afternoon. Adam was able to come the next morning. He was punctual and very professional. In about 45 minutes he had cleared the tub and sink drains. I even got the senior 10% discount. Would definitely use them again (though I hope I don't have to). Thanks!

    Dean's Right Time Plumbing
Excellent! Dean's Right Time plumbing is my 'go to' for all plumbing jobs. Top quality work, quick to respond, and reasonable rates. I've had them out for about 5-6 jobs in my home and was impressed with work done on each one.

Day or Night Home & Hearth Services LLC
I was shocked at the pricing schedule ($1180 for 3.5 hours work, more than $300 an hour) but was desperate as my other plumber bailed out on me. He restored water to one bath room although the toilet and the bath continued to leak. He fixed the broken kitchen pipe but another joint (not his) subsequently failed and he did not notice that the hotwater leaked. He attempted to connect the upstairs bath but after soaking the entrance hall three times I asked him to stop (and cleaned up the water myself.) The capped line was done right as well as the shut off to the hotwater heater (although he did not secure the pipe.) The plumbers last words were I am getting out of here before something else goes wrong.
I subsequently called Day and Night Office to express my unhappiness. (I was prepared to pay a ridiculous rate if my plumbing was fixed, but not for a second rate job.) I was told that the owner would call me back. This never happened. I called back a week later about the leak and was told that since the joint was not done by the plumber it was not covered. (He made a good joint on a bad piece of plumbing.) I asked to speak to the owner again and was told she would call me. This never happened.
My experience was horrible and outrageously expensive. Perhaps these guys are good for changing a washer if you can afford them, but I would not recommend using them for any difficult plumbing job.

    Haynes Plumbing
I directed the plumber to the drain clean out in the basement.  He then proceeded to snake the drain and about 12 feet into the drain I heard a rush of water from across the room.  He had broken the pipe.  All the greasy black slimy water that had filled the laundry basin proceeded to dump on my clean basement floor.  He asked, "Should I stop?"  Not on your life.  I have 2 problems now and he was the only one that could fix the first problem.  "Nope.  I'll clean and you finish snaking.  After another 10 minutes with his project he told me the work was completed.  To tell you the truth as I write this review I don't know if its fixed yet or not.  He came over around 11:45 and I stayed home from work and cleaned for the entire afternoon.  Wow!  The smell was amazing.  Before he left me with my mess he then mentioned that the pipe was broken at the floor and that he would have to jackhammer the floor to gain access to enough pipe to attach to.  I told him that I would have to consider that and he left me a nice invoice for the tune of $1,100. He then carried out the pipes and that's when I went into shock.  These guys broke my drain pipe, flooded my basement, took my pipes and never apologized for the damage.  I'm still in shock.  I spoke with Chris and asked him if he was the owner and he told me he was.  Then he came at me with new quick fix solutions and old school ways to approach the problem for $500.  I've been in the service industry all my life and have never come across someone who wouldn't respect the age old philosophy, "You break it - you fix it."  I called the plumber back at 3:45PM and requested that the pipes be brought back.  I figured there were about $50 worth of fittings on it and if all I have to do is have someone reattach it.  Will I have this company do the work?  No, not on your life.

    Haynes Plumbing
Our kitchen sink suddenly backed up for no reason, but this house was a foreclosure, so new problems are constant. We got a 15 ft auger and used a drain access opening, using the entire auger length with no good results. It was evening, but we checked Angie's list. We called Haynes (they listed 24/7 emergency scheduling) and left a message with a real person. Haynes got back to us within an hour, and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. We didn't ask price. We didn't know the exact situation and to call around for an unknown problem would have been a waste of time. We read reviews on Angie's list and figured they would charge fairly. The next morning, Haynes called early to confirm the appointment. The plumber called almost an hour before the time window to tell me he was coming over. He was friendly and professional. He told me the price, and I asked if I could use the coupon they had on their web site. I could not print it out since we are not moved in here yet and have no access to a printer. (Plus some people don't have computer access or a printer at home.) He said I could have the discount. Within 15 minutes he had set up, used his equipment to clear the drain, and was packed up and preparing the bill. The clog was about 28 feet down the drain. They accept credit card payments. He was very neat in working and cleaning up. The price, well it's a fixed price for such jobs, so there is no way to tell how lengthy or difficult the problem might be ahead of time. Our problem was so easy that I was bummed about paying a lot ( and more than other people had listed for the same service). I can't complain really, since the service and scheduling were so great and they did give me a coupon. I'd use them again and check into their many renovation services listed on their Angie's list description.

    Joseph C Bauer Inc
They were great. They were on time and did good work. The service guy explained everything that he was doing and what the options where. He gave detailed explanations. He was very efficient and finished the work that he said he was going to do. Their price was very reasonable compared to other plumbers. They had excellent service. they came out very quickly. Also we have used them before.
