    The work went very well. Everyone showed up as planned. Work took about 1 and a half days. Roof was 3400 sq ft. This roof is guaranteed lifetime, labor for 25 years. Barry Flax was easy to deal with. He kept all promises. Workman were great, quiet (as you can be during work), clean up was good. I have no complaints. It was a great job for a very fair price.

    I have heard good things about their service. I explained my needs and the person who answered the phone said she would have Beth call me back. Beth didn't call me. I called them back only to get a nervous answer saying they aren't taking any weddings right now. I am assuming my event was too small for them but why not just say we don't do events that small. Their approach made me feel unwanted.

    This is the second time I've used Badger Contracting.  This company's greatest strength is Barry and his responsiveness.  He does whatever it takes to deliver the services and meet the customer's expectations and he is unbelieveably honest and ethical.  
    The work Barry performed was tough -- the house was in a terrible state because the owner had been very ill for a long time.  Today the house looks brand new.
    FYI,  I am not an easy client but Barry never lost his patience with me.  Despite some hiccups by his subcontractors, Barry made sure everything was done to my satisfaction.
    I am thrilled by the results and would use Barry again.

    Talked by phone about damage from a lightning strike. His comments helped me determine that I do not need his services at the present time. However, even after we'd agreed on that idea, Mike took plenty of time to explain further specifics of the subject we were discussing. I found this to be a generous attitude, and I determined that there were a couple of older electronic items (unrelated to our power surge) which I'd send his way. I like finding good people & found this person through Angie's List. I was not disappointed & would recommend giving him a call.

    I had purchased an electric range from Jarvis in January, 2008 with a one year warranty. In September, the indicator light for a "hot cook top" began to flicker. I called them and a service technician came to the house the next day to diagnose the problem. He had to order the part (Neon lamp) and came back a week later to fix the problem. The interaction with the service desk and technician was excellent: they were polite, competent and professional.

    The main control on the dryer went out. It took a 4 days to get a service man to come out to diagnose the problem. It took another 4 days to get the new part installed. We are pleased that they fixed the problem but with 4 young children, would have been happier if they had the needed part in stock.

    TECH WAS PROMPT, AND COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY. THIS WAS A SERVICE CALL SET UP THROUGH THE MAYTAG CENTRAL SERVICE LINE. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SERVICE OR THE REPAIR TECH. HOWEVER, THIS WAS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TROUBLE-SHOT FROM THE CENTRAL MAYTAG OFFICE. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN CORRECTED WITH OUT A SERVICE CALL. REPAIR SERVICE WAS EFFECTIVE, AND JARVIS WAS VERY RESPONSIVE.

    THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF US. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND THE SERVICE STAFF PRESENTED THEMSELVES WELL. IT WAS A FAMILY AFFAIR FOR A FAMILY AFFAIR. IT WAS NICE TO DEAL WITH A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY THAT IS CARING ABOUT THEIR REPUTATION.
