I use the local Ford dealer because they're reputable people, they've got skilled mechanics, they go to school to learn their trade, and I buy all Ford vehicles.  I will blow their horn because they've been taking care of me since my first new vehicle, since 1986.  They do most of my service.  I've got four vehicles so I go there all the time.  If I have a problem, I take it up and they'll fix it.  They'll pick up your car at your house for you and they'll deliver it back for you.  I got on them and told them, I said look, all these foreign car dealerships in America which I don't have anything to do with - I'm a union pipefitter and if it's not made in America it's hard for me to buy.  So all these foreign cars out here, the Nissans and the Toyotas, they'll come out here and pick my car up, so when's Ford gonna get with the program?  Well they started this program and it works well and everybody's happy.  I love it that they took my suggestion and come and pick my vehicle up when they can.  If they can't, I quite understand.  But hire more people, create more jobs.  It's a good thing; it's what America's all about.  We always take our vehicles there and it's a good thing.  They could improve by paying their mechanics a fair living wage.  This is what union people are trying to get out, that when everybody does good we all do good.  A fair living wage is the most important part of the economy.  If you're not making it, you're not spending it.  I score points with them every time I get a service, and about every third or fourth service, is free.  It works well.  It's fair because I know what they're charging and I know what some of their mechanics are making and they could pay them a little bit more.  That's why I said that earlier.  It's fair; it's a fair wage.

I have been around garages my whole life, and done many repairs myself - so I would know if they were suggesting unnecessary work in order to make next month's boat payment. I feel Holzhauser's is a very professionally run business which I am sure enjoys many return customers. They have a decently stocked parts area of common items, so they don't need to delay repairs to get a certain oil filter or shock absorber - that is unusual. The parking area, office, and shop are meticulously clean and tidy - it looks like a dealership. A big plus, they have enough staff of certified mechanics that someone there will be able to figure out what is wrong with your car. We are new to Maryland, and I will go back again in the future.

Dropped my car off one day and it was finished the next. The job was done efficiently and professionally. The price was very reasonable and a few small unexpected repairs were made at no additional charge.

They provide outstanding service. The people I deal with are very personable. They give me the options and try to work with me. The price is a little bit high.
