Couldn't have gone better!!! The two techs who worked on the job, Daniel and John, were both top-notch, very knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. The young lady who scheduled the job was also very helpful and flexible. I'm very, very happy with the services performed!!!!

On Wednesday, 2 Jan 2019, I heard a voice message from my tenant saying that there were problems with the kitchen sink spraying. It was almost 5:00 PM, so I called Prime Plumbing immediately, hoping to reach someone who could schedule a regular appointment as soon as possible. The woman who answered the phone scheduled me for next morning, saying the plumbers would arrive 7:30-9:30 AM. I drove over to the house that evening to see the problem for myself. It looked like the faucet was spraying near the base when it was turned on. On Thursday, 3 Jan, the plumbers arrived at 8:00 AM. They checked the faucet and said that it needed to be replaced. I asked if they had any with them; they offered two that they had in the truck. I chose the simplest one, without the sprayer. When they removed the old faucet, they needed to use a saw to get it out. They installed the new faucet and replaced the supply lines, and were done within an hour.

John sent out Nick who did a great job. He was very polite and professional and quickly set about diagnosing the cause of the leak, which he traced back to the shower. He provided a quote and then repaired the drain pipe in a few hours. Im happy with the results and will definitely consider using Galaxy in the future.

The project went very smoothly. They stuck to the timeline and communication was very easy throughout. They did not have to make many changes to the initial budget, they were basically spot on with the estimates and products needed. We replaced the floor, cabinets, and counter tops in the kitchen. Then they tiled and painted the room and everything looks clean and new!

I purchased a faucet but needed to hire a plumber to remove the old one and install the new one. When I put in the request on Angies list, I got a call from this company right away. Unlike some companies the person who called me was able to give me an estimate without sending someone out. I was especially happy that a plumber was able to do the work the next day. He did a great job and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Fantastic! This was the third time we used Landscape Design Center. Ana and her crew are consistently, incredibly professional. They treated our home with care and respect; the crew even watched out for the neighbor's cats who frequent our yard. When we ran into a problem with another contractor, Ana helped us find a replacement. When I discussed budge with Ana, she listened to me and came up with ideas that kept us on budget while still getting the job done. The care and quality of their work is remarkable. I plan to use them again for a few more projects I have in mind.

I sent the following review to Len the Plumber, and I requested to be contacted. Almost 3 months later, no one has contacted me. 1. Appt was from 12 - 4 p.m. Tech arrived around 6. 2. I gave the part that was sent by Rheem to the tech. He didn't even know what some of the parts were for. I gave him the instructions and said he might want to read them. 3. He quoted me $350 to put a part in that I already had (he was in my house a total of 45 - 50 mins.) I think this is an exorbitant price for less than 45 mins of labor. PLUS, the original $49 tech fee was not deducted, as I was told it would be, when I made my appointment. I feel I was taken advantage of, since I was at the mercy of the tech to install the warranty part sent by Rheem. 4. Originally flame for pilot was a controlled regular flame (when it lit). After tech installed new pilot assembly, the flame was a rolling flame all along inside the bottom of the water heater. Still not fixed since pilot light extinguished. 5. He said the pilot assembly didn't correct the problem, so I asked him to try to figure out what was wrong with it. He said he didn't know, and suggested I get a new hot water heater and gave me quote. Since then, I called Rheem again, and they told me next step is to check the thermal release device. Why didn't tech? He should have known to do that. He did nothing to fix it. 6. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I received.

As things happen we were 15 days into a new home and a drain clogs that handles the a\c condensate run off. So I'm at work and it's Saturday (of course) and my wife lets me know we have wet carpet in the finished basement. I research on Angie's List and find Mike's company Drain Sight. I called and Mike was very upfront with me on a time line. He was helping someone and would be there in the afternoon. He showed up fixed the issue in 10 minutes was very professional and the price was incredibly reasonable for a late Saturday afternoon call. I won't call anyone else for this type of service. Great all around.

As always, late in the evening on a Sunday.... the water heater decides to rupture, not a mere leak around the heating elements either which is a DIY job; and I'm leaving for a business trip on Monday Eve! I start calling, then web searching. Fill out Chesapeake's web form and I get a response within the hour to my email address... ON A SUNDAY Night! Next morning, follow up by phone, give the model and serial number; told they can fit me in and replace the unit in the early afternoon. Got a ballpark quote over the phone I was okay with. John arrives, early afternoon as expected. Introduces himself, friendly and personable, checks the job and gets to work. Doesn't waste time, has no issue with me being nosey and watching how he does the job, I'm renting, if not for that, I would have done the job myself. He's very good, watched him eyeball the copper pipes, cut to length and he's spot on... then I rather enjoyed watching how he sweated the copper for the solder... very nice job, clean and not sloppy. The man's a pro, I admire professional work. No wasted effort, no re-dos, and he replaced the shoddy looking valve joints put in by the previous installer. (I did introduce him to a new tool for slugging metal plates for electrical wiring he'd never seen before, which he'll now be adding to his toolkit, it's much better than hole saws. Glad I could help, just a little. LOL) My point though is that it was a very professional job, painless, complete with good conversation, and he even provided tips to me during the job in case I have to do it myself in the future. I'm not going to be specific about how long the job took, but it was fast and efficient, his billing was accurate and under the phone quote. Yes, I tipped him, which is not something I usually do. Summary: Chesapeake Plumbing, Inc. was professional, responded quickly and after hours, charged reasonable rates and were under the quote. They also didn't replace the unit with some cheap *** big box store brand water heater and jack up the unit price for maximum profit. It was a nicer AO Smith Residential Water Heater, not the most expensive highest end unit, and not the cheapest low-end either... a good sturdy workhorse unit with good brand reputation IMO. I'm very pleased with the experience, people and equipment. If I wasn't renting this place, I'd have done it myself because I'm more of a DIY guy, but in this case, it was nice to let a professional do it and get it done far quicker than I could have done. I will do business with them again if I need plumbing work, highly recommended.

I've had this done in the past and it has never cost me $255! Most was $200. Right after I had this done Horizon advertised the same service for $99 and so did Acme. The company was very nice but I don't want to pay "Gibson Island" prices.
