Initial interaction was positive. The Reps were thorough and pleasant. System arrived when promised and was easy to set up....until the live test. We initiated the live test as arranged but instead of being connected to an operator, we heard a recording announcing it was rerouting the call and this happened multiple times with long pauses in between. We didn't know if we should hold on or hang up! After several minutes of this we did finally reach an operator. The live test was completed and we were assured that the system was active and functioning properly. When I asked if all the rerouting was normal, the operator said he didn't know and that I would have to ask a Systems person. Then today I completed a survey at Provider name locked. 's request and I mentioned the difficulty in getting an operator during the live test. Provider name locked. called me to discuss the problem. However, as our records show, I work during the day and cannot take calls unless it is an emergency so the caller left a voice mail leaving her name and number (877-913-3680). After work I called the number. It rang more than 20 times. I hung up and redialed. Again it rang more than 20 times but I held on, got a recording and was then put on hold. When I finally got connected to a person, he told me I had not called the right number and that I needed to call 248-946-8557. It would have been nice if he could have just transferred me. I hung up and called the new number....yep....which rang more than 20 times and was again put on hold. This time I got a young lady who said I had called the wrong number and I needed to call 877-913-3680. The first number I called!!! When I explained that I had called that number and they sent me to this new number, she said she would connect me with someone who could help and put me on hold. I was on hold for 10-12 minutes and finally hung up. And while all this was going on, someone else from Provider name locked. called to discuss the problem and left me another voicemail telling me to call the 877 number. Now we are left wondering.....if they can't get their act together as far as service calls....how can we know they will react quickly and appropriately in an emergency?
