    Ashton Lawrence Electrical Contracting
Ashton was excellent. Very professional, quick, clean and fair prices. Could not ask for better service. Quickly found trouble with outside outlet and repaired. Installed two new bathroom exhaust fans. Installed two outlets under the bath vanities for installation of under-counter water heaters. Connected these outlets to second electrical panel in basement.

Excellent from start to finish. Chris and his Team were top notch, including Mike the electrician on site. Very responsive to my needs, neat and clean. I Highly recommend Haas and son for your electrical needs. This is the second time I have used them and will use them again.

    Haas and Sons Electric Inc
They did a fabulous job, I was expecting to have to vacuum or touch up the paint on the ceiling but there was nothing that needed cleaning or touch up afterwards. The fan looks great, and I will definitely use this company for future electrical work. No need to shop around when you find a good company.

    Haas and Sons Electric Inc
I bought a big deal which included fan installation, box, wiring. Left a message on initial call but got a return call within the hour.

Chris, the owner gave me the schedule to pick from. This install was a long overdue surprise for my wife so I was happy they could come on a day she had to go into the office and not work from home. I asked about adding the light fixture and he quoted me a price of $87 to add the light install. Great price, so I jumped on it.

The installer, Nick called to say he was on way but was running late due to 2 accidents on Annapolis hwy 50 bridge. No big deal for me because I know the traffic can be a mess, as I told him, I'm retired and ain't got no where to go. I gave him an A because he kept me informed on the progress.

Nick arrived and introduced him self. I showed him in and the room we needed the fan in and the light in the foyer. He stated no problem and it wouldn't be too long to do the work. I told him to have at it and that I would be in the basement working and to call me if he needed any thing

Nick did a FANTASTIC job, the fan was perfect! He mounted the bracket for the remote and cleaned up all the dust and residue created with the installation. He then removed the old foyer fixture and mounted the new one. He and I got to talking and I can honestly say without question he was very polite and personable. Good guy! He told me something that stuck with me in that they will notify me before they do any work if they feel it is more involved than was initially discussed, not the type to do work that is not first approved by the customer. They do things the right way, big cudos for that.

All in all, the work went flawless, the price was unbeatable, Nick knows his trade, and did a great overall job.

Would I hire this company again? In half a heartbeat! They are a small upstart company and are very serious about doing the job correctly at a very competitive price. I have a few more electrical jobs an told them without a doubt  I would be calling them again.

The only way I can end this review is, if you have electrical work to be done, Haas and sons are more than worth giving them a call. You will NOT be sorry.

A big thank you to Nick and Chris!

    Haas and Sons Electric Inc
Chris and his partner Nick are a small company and do Mike Holms quality work. Extremely professional and personal. We talked the whole time they were here and they did not mind my infinite questions. You simply cannot find better electrical service anywhere. Would I use them again, let me put it this way, the wife and I will be retiring to Tennessee in about 4 years. If I have electrical needs I'll send them plane tickets. When you find great contractors you don't want to lose them no matter what. One of the most important qualities is trust, and I won' t trust anyone else. I know this is late and I am sorry for taking so long, wife was in the hospital with heart surgery and I have been very busy and frankly forgot. My apologies to Chris and Nick, thanks guys, you rock!

    Kargmans Inc
I called Kargmans after spotting an Angie Deal for 8 hours of interior painting and spoke to a very nice lady, Erin. She gave me insight on how to determine how much paint I needed and some helpful websites. She answered all my questions and advised me to prioritize my rooms that needed painting first. The ceilings were the most important to me as I find this the most difficult part of painting. We scheduled a time and date for the following week.

After a scheduling error in which Erin was most apologetic for and called me the date of the appointment, we rescheduled for the following Monday. Since I was not on a tight schedule, it was of small inconvenience to me. I had already prepped the walls (sand, spackle), took off all the switch covers, and moved the furniture.

Lenny and Juan showed up on time and ready to go. I did not have any floor/furniture coverings but they did, and spent a small amount of time doing this. Note: cover the furniture and flooring and whatever else you have that you do not want to get paint on because this will cut into your 8 hours. I walked through with Lenny the rooms I wanted done, ceilings first. He understood completely but warned they may not have enough time to do the last bedroom. Juan took off both ceiling fan covers and the chandelier cover which was a nice touch. I totally forgot about that and if it were me, I would've just painted around them. I checked in with them frequently throughout the day and found no issues with the quality of their painting. They worked very efficiently, cleaned up all the areas and I enjoyed the conversations we had. I nicknamed Juan "the bull" and Erin, you'll have to ask him why!

All in all, it was a pleasant experience and a good price. Yes, there was a scheduling error but Erin at Kargmans called me, owned the problem, was very apologetic and eager to resolve it expeditiously. I recommend them highly and would definitely use them again. I appreciate a job well done. Thank you!

    Deshaies Electrical Services LLC
I initially called Deshaies after one of the big deals I had seen on Angie's list. However after explaining the work I needed, they said it would be more hours than what was included in the deal. The real nice lady on the phone answered all my questions, gave me a verbal estimate and got me scheduled for the next week. Their reviews were good and their price was in line with the other estimates. They showed up on time, were extremely professional, and did an excellent job. I couldn't be more pleased and would hire them again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a job well done!

    Magothy Electric Co
He was on time, very professional and provided honest input for aspects of the job that needed to be done versus those that could wait. Very friendly and appeared to care about the quality of work and the customer service.

    NMM Electric LLC
It took several attempts to schedule a time for NMM Electric to come an install the ceiling fan -- several back and forth emails and a phone call with the employee that schedules appointments -- that amounted to me waiting nearly two months to get the thing installed. In the end, NMM called me out of the blue to say that they were available and asked if the electricians could come by and install the ceiling fan within the next hour; I was so desperate to get it installed I obliged.
The room we had the ceiling fan installed did not have an overhead light, so we had to pay an extra $150 on top of the $50 installation fee we already paid through Angie's List. The extra $100 is to cover what we had to spend in drywall and paint in order to get the five (yes people, F-I-V-E) holes repaired that NMM cut out of our wall in order to access our house's wiring.
The electricians that showed up were very professional and I've had no problems with the ceiling fan itself.

    Noonan Construction
Was nervous buying this, since my husband wasn't happy about paying for outside help, but the shutter project had been discussed each summer, but had not been tackled in over 8 years.  And the new ceiling fan was purchased 10 month prior and was still sitting in its box.  So when i saw the special deal of $179 for 4 Hours of Handyman Service, and with reading the great reviews about Noonan's service, I plowed ahead.  What a great decision, and my husband was very impressed too.  We had 6 pairs of old wooden shutters that they replaced with vinyl shutters. We have a split level home (small - 1,400 sqft) and top shutters were on the vinyl siding and the lower 3 pairs was on brickfront.   That project was completed smoothly and without a hitch, and finished up quicker than we anticipated.  The ceiling fan was easy-peasy for our guy (it was replacing an existing one) and that left him with enough time to paint the front door to match new shutters.  Our guy was on time, professional, down-to-earth, and did great work.  Am definitely planning to use them again in the future, very happy!
