    Wooten Appliance
I began searching for help at 6:30 p.m.; Wooten was at my front door at 08:00 the next morning. He analyzed the problem and told me that fixing my refrigerator/freezer was not a viable option as that would cost considerably more than a new replacement. He linked me up with a refrigerator/freezer merchant and charged very reasonably for his time and his diagnosis. The most important aspect of Wooten's service was that it was honest and correct.

    JC appliance services llc

On the service alone, I would rate JC Appliance Services LLC an A++!  The experience was outstanding at best!  The quality of service was exceptional!  Efficient, cost-effective, and great customer service.  Collectively, these three things are almost nonexistent in this day in age, regarding businesses! Thanks to Angie?s List, I found the very best person for the Job.  A single word to sum up my experience would ?. STELLAR!

I bought a big deal and it was okay. They came out and did the service. Then I had some work that needed to be done on an older dryer. They told me they were going to find a part and get back to me and never did. The initial deal part was fine; they came and checked everything out, but the follow up wasn't any good.

American Residential Appliances Heating & Cooling

They don't really do anything. They are not good at all. I got it in case I had a need. I saw it on television so I went and purchased it for future use.

What you need to be done, they don't do it. Right now I am having problems with my gas stove. Another company came and looked at it and said the part that hooks to the stove that hooks to the gas outlet has gone bad. It needs to be tightened or it needs to be changed. That's on the stove and not on the pipe that belongs to the gas company. I called American Residential and they said they don't do that! They don't do nothing! Its a matter of taking an old part off the stove, putting the new one, and reconnecting the gas. They said that's the pipe. And its not the pipe! Its a piece! So I cancelled it today.

I would not select them at all. If you do, read very well. They require that you be a full member for a full year or you have to pay $49,99 to cancel. They are unresponsive and they do not cover nothing that is really needed.

My dealings with Wooten have been excellent. Messages were responded to promptly and they were easy to work with to schedule service. As for the person who serviced the dishwasher - you couldn't ask for a nicer, more professional person. The service was quick and the dishwasher now works fine.

    Refrigerator wasn't working correctly in
my rental condo. I called the company because of the good reviews on Angie's.
Prompt response but poor diagnosis and outcome. Technician
determined a new timer and thermostat were needed. Total for all (service
call was $79 despite the dispatcher saying she'd credit me for $10 coupon I
mentioned seeing on their website (service call should have been $69) plus
$184 in parts and labor = $263. However, refrigerator never got
cold. Called company and they promptly followed up but the technician
determined the problem must now be a Freon leak and would require a Freon
technician diagnosis/repair which I was told "usually" runs $275 to $350.
I explained that when we called for the service there was a large block
of ice in the freezer; the Freon was obviously in the system and working at that time.
Bottom line is they didn't really know what the problem was and expected me to keep paying until they figured it out.
I questioned whether I had paid for parts (timer and thermostat) that I
didn't need and I was assured those parts we indeed bad. I asked if I
could see the parts and they said they don't have them. I asked about
their 30 day warranty for parts and services and was told they did provide
appropriate parts and services so, essentially, "too bad." I
passed on the Freon assessment/fix follow-up and opted to just buy a new
refrigerator (hauling off the $184 new timer and thermostat they wouldnt take
back or compensate me for). No use spending good money chasing bad. Needless to say, I won't be using this
    company again.

He looked at it and double checked everything, which I liked. He did his tests to see exactly what the problem was. He found out the problem and said we can fix it if you want to, but it will be $250, so just go ahead and buy a new one. He only charged me for what little bit of time he was there for and that was fine. He was a running a little bit late and I told him I couldn't wait because I had another appointment. He said I would be there before you leave and he was there.

I called on a Wed/Thu to request for a technician to come to my house to assess a broken gas range. They were very professional on the phone. I told them that I am available the following Monday at any time. They told me to pick a time. I said 9am. Their response was that they would be there from 9-9:30AM. They said that I would be the first call and they would take of me first thing. I thought wow, that's a really short window for a repair service.

I planned my day in a way that I would go to work around 11:00 AM.

So 9:30 AM Monday morning comes and no technician. I call them at 9:30 sharp and no one picks up, but I leave a message telling them to call me back and tell me when the technician arrives. I also say if they are not here by ten AM I am going to cancel.

10 AM comes and I've gotten no return call and no technician. I call them and someone picks up. I told them who I was and that a technician had not arrived. They apologized and said that the technicians were on their way and would be there in about 45 minutes. Which at that time would mean at best the technicians would be arriving at 10:45 AM.

I kindly told them to cancel the appointment and that I no longer require there services. They paused, apologized and told me to have a nice day. They were professional but their punctuality and responsiveness was nonexistent.

Schedule with them at your own risk.

Overall, the experience turned out fine. They did have to come out a few times because they didn?t have all the parts with them. They were very professional and clean about there work. The crew was on time to the job each day.

The company's representatives came at the scheduled time and told me after 15 minutes of checking the dryer that when someone had closed the outside vent cover, it had jammed the outside vent flap. They unplugged the flap and the dryer works fine.
