The office is very busy, it takes quite a while to get an appointment with the dentist, it is also a long wait for a hygienist appointment  The staff and doctor was very friendly and I did feel at ease, which is not normal for me in a dental office. My appointment occurred right on time which was very impressive.

It was recommended that I get an implant, and even after my insurance company reviewed the costs, the cost seems very high. I do have an appointment for hygienist later this month, but I may cancel as I am considering going to other dentists for estimates.

More than a year after I was told I would be done with Invisalign in a few months, I was still going in for regular fittings for the Invisalign inserts. At this point, it was not about correcting the gaps in my teeth. Dr. Silverman wanted to rearrange my teeth. One of my last appointments, he fit a metal button on one tooth and gave me rubberbands to wear because he wanted to pull that tooth down. His plan was that after the tooth was sufficiently lowered, he would file my teeth to "even them out", and so it continued. At this point I realized that unless I put a stop to this, I would keep visiting Dr. Silverman every few weeks for Invisalign fittings several years from now. (And so the payments would keep continuing.)
I confronted him about this and told him that I had enough and I wanted the Invisalign business to end. I pretty much had to demand that he remove the metal button still on my tooth (he said he would do it another time). I told him that all I wanted was a retainer that I could wear at night. He relented and first suggested that I order 4 retainers. I said one was plenty and since they last forever (his own words), that would be enough. I've had several retainers in the past, but the one made by Dr. Silverman is extremely uncomfortable. (Somehow, I can't breathe in this retainer.)
Basically, the one thing that I really needed from him was accomplished in the least efficient way.
The man is very dishonest and inept. Do not go to him!

He is located in the Green Spring Station, so it's near to my home. I have been going there and I like it. They are very friendly. They stand out good. His bedside manner is great. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

I broke my two front teeth in 1964. I had porcelain over gold crowns put on my teeth. Eleven years later at age eighteen they were replaced again because my teeth grew down. Three years ago, Dr. Virmani said decay was developing under my crowns and they needed to be replaced. I was not having any issues with my crowns. I was able to eat anything with my crowns. Dr. Virmami is great for cleaning and routine care of your teeth. But when he replaced my crowns I have had several issues. The first set he replaced was not what I originally had on my teeth. My original crowns were porcelain over gold. Dr. Virmani replaced my crowns with porcelain only. The crowns came off several times for over a year. I was told not to bite anything with the crowns and don't floss between them which I think is ridiculous. In December, of the following year Dr. Virmani replaced my crowns again free of charge. This time he replaced them with porcelain over gold. He also had me purchase a night guard because he told me grinding my teeth would loosen my crowns. Everything was fine until last week the tooth that I had a root canal and post put in the crown came off. Now I am being told I need to see an endonitics and have implants because of the original tremor of when broke my teeth my original teeth can no longer hold the crowns on. I said I did not want implants so he replaced the original posts and built that tooth up and again replaced that crown free of charge. However, he told me not many dentist would replace crowns free of charge three times. But, I believe if were done correctly the first time this would not have been necessary. With this new crown my night guard does not fit anymore. This crown is a little wider and slants to the side a little. So I don't known if I will get a new night guard free of charge. I am now wondering if my original crowns should have ever been removed.

The staff was fantastic and friendly, billing was fair and nothing was stressful or painful. They use a water brush for cleaning so it's not painful even if you have poor oral health. I gave them a and quot;Band quot; rating in effectiveness of treatment because they still do amalgam fillings and have not fully transitioned to completely non-toxic white fillings and were not set up to remove my amalgam fillings and replace them with non-toxic white fillings. Otherwise, they are fantastic all around.

The consultation itself was great but they had a clerical error in billing that cost me a lot of money. When I made my appointment, they took my insurance but then when I actually went to the appointment and had the check up which includes cleaning which is excellent, then 2 months later I got surprised of the bill. They said that they no longer took my insurance so they didn't tell me at that time, they just did the service and they wee unwilling to work with me on the bill.

I found them on Angie's List. We are very happy with them. They are very kind, very professional, and they are on time. We don't have to wait when we go there. It's not a fancy place, but it's normal and it's just what we need. The facilities are updated and I don't have anything to complain about.

It's like an old fashioned dentist. He spends a lot of time on you and he's very professional. If there's anything wrong he'll fit you in. He's just really good. My husband had a problem with his route canal and Dr. Barr helped could my calling the other dentist and had him see my husband again. The route canal was done again and it successful and it was because Dr. Barr set it up for him. He's really very good and everyone in that office is really nice. They treat you really well. The office is kept very nice and clean as well.

My experience with Dr. Kline and his staff was, and has continued to be, outstanding! He is very professional, caring, knowledgeable, comforting, and COOL (Yes, with capital letters). He addressed my pain and my worries with exceptional compassion and responsibility. From our first appointment to the very last (last month) he has continued to provide excellent service. I remember that on the first appointment, the staff asked me a lot of questions just so they could understand my specific health/financial situation and my dental history. They let me fill in the more "boring documents" such as insurance and liability contracts later, since I was in a lot of pain. An assistant (very nice as well) led me to the office (bright, clean, nicely decorated) and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. When I met Dr. Kline I liked him immediately. He apparently had already read some of my file and been briefed on my situation, so he made me feel secure that way. He explained what he wanted to do about my situation thoroughly in a language I was able to comprehend effectively. Dr. Kline then made sure I didn't have questions about the procedures he wanted to conduct, addressed all my worries, was very caring when a couple of tears slipped my eyes due to the pain and worry. He is a very compassionate person.
After he applied anesthesia, I experienced  tachycardia, so he kept calm, explained why it was happening, and changed the type of anesthesia and that worked really well. By then I thought "this guy totally gets me" and my anxiety level decreased exponentially. After the tachycardia situation was under control, he took the left-over material from my tooth, and saw that I had to have a root canal. Dr. Kline had all this tech and sophisticated equipment that gave a sense of relief about my situation. I hadn't had a root canal in a long time, so I was nervous. He then asked me what type of music I liked and put something on the radio so I can listen to it over the sound of the machines. It was awesome. It definitely made a difference. Everything was over after 20 minutes. All sealed and looking great. I thought that he was going to charge for a crown later on, but he told me he saw no reason for me to spend that kind of money because the tooth is healthy enough to sustain a new veneer, no crown necessary.  I really appreciated him not performing unnecessary procedures. His practice is an honest one for sure.
I moved a couple of years ago 40 miles away from Dr. Kline's practice. When I have any dental issues, I drive those 40 miles gladly just so I can see him and talk to him. I tried a new doctor closer to home, but nobody compares to him. I simply had to go back to him. Believe me, if you have the chance to meet him, you will stay forever.
