    Quality Insulation
excellent service! prompt responding, very punctual. Listens and honestly responds to all questions and concerns, do not try to upscale or push for unwanted adds. Neat and qualitative work. I waited for a few months to be able to make an honest and objective review. I must say: in the summer is much cooler, electricity bills went down. Highly recommend!

    Quality Insulation
Quality Insulation provided high quality work at a very good price. Dan Roberson, the owner of Quality Insulation, is an excellent professional who is extremely easy to work with and who does high quality work. I first contacted Dan Roberson when I found out I needed to remove loose insulation from above a bedroom ceiling where the drywall was collapsing. Dan answered the phone himself. He was very pleasant to talk with about my problem, gave me good information about alternatives and described the work he recommended in a way that was easy to understand. He was able to schedule his crew to be at my house the next day to remove the insulation. His crew was very professional, covered everything very well, they worked quickly and efficiently, getting the job completed in less than an hour. They did an excellent job. Dan was very helpful in talking with me about alternatives for putting back the insulation in our attic after ceiling repairs were completed. His explanations and advice were invaluable in helping us make a decision about what to do for insulation in our 35 year old attic. When Quality Insulation returned to put new insulation in the attic and complete an upgrade of all of our attic insulation, they again performed the work professionally, were very neat and clean, and completed the job in just a few hours. Dan Robersons crews are very impressive in the way they go about their work and always mindful of minimizing any impact on your home. We would certainly use Quality Insulation again and also would highly recommend Quality Insulation.

    PKS Home Improvements LLC
Everything looked great and we plan on using them again to redo our master bath as soon as we get the money together. You can't go wrong using PKS. PKS pays attention to the details, almost like they were working on their own homes.

    Standard Energy Solutions
Did some work to make energy efficient but mostly helped evaluate what we should do to improve our newly purchased home. 2 years later we have new windows and a finished basement with new A/C. Only annoying thing was they gave us a shower head to be more efficient but it was very insufficient for actual use.

    Basement Remodeling Company
From the very first meeting, we were impressed with Pavel?s (owner) knowledge, project management process, transparent pricing, and plan for staying in constant communication with us throughout the project. His team continued to impress us throughout the two month project. We would recommend Basement Masters to anyone looking to remodel their basement and only wish that they did more than just basements.
    Pros:
    -    Basement Masters has the most professional team of employees and subcontractors that we have ever worked with. Everyone was knowledgeable about their craft, polite, accommodating to our needs and always cleaned up after themselves.
    -    The plan that we drew up to completely renovate our basement was collaborative, but I have confidence that if we had not come to the table with concrete ideas of what we wanted to do, Pavel would have designed something equally ideal. We liked that he was willing to allow us to leave one room partially unfinished (but to-code) so we could build it into a media room at a later date.
    -    They arrived early and stayed later than expected (and they always asked permission if they planned to work late).
    -    Elena, the designer and project manager, kept us in the loop with weekly updates on what they planned to accomplish each day. She had great design ideas for paint colors and helped make that an easy process and even pushed us to get a little adventurous.
    -    John, the foreman, was seemingly always there or accessible and we trusted him to do what was needed to get the project done. Any question that we had was immediately answered.
    -    For the most part, their subcontractors were excellent, especially the drywall finishers, painters and electrician. Basement Masters clearly vets their partners and works with professionals.
    -    The only unexpected additional cost was extra plumbing work, but they explained our options and we agreed it was needed.
    Cons:
    -    The only hiccup worth mentioning was that one subcontractor left our home unsecured overnight to air it out after spray foam insulation was installed. To their credit, both Basement Masters and the owner of the insulation company were appalled, apologized profusely and nothing like that happened again.  Still, it?s worthwhile to have a conversation with them to confirm that your house will be closed up and locked up by all subs.

    Power Home Remodeling
I did not like the high pressure sales approach. Nevertheless, the product quality is excellent. The project is very well managed from beginning to end. The project manager visited about 4 weeks ahead of start to check measurements and assess the project details. The installer worked quickly and efficiently and was done in 1/2 day. He did show me the internal parts of the window installation including the insulation that was installed in between the window. The caulking job was nothing less than awesome -- I have never seen a better caulking job ever! I had to leave before the job was completed, but the installer explained all that had been done to my wife and instructed her on the operation of the windows. All debris was cleaned up and carted away. They did such a fine job, I left their company sign up in my yard until the recent snow storm did it in.

    A-1 Roofing's Kanga Roof
As I did not need any roof repair work (having recently been inspected), I declined the roof inspection (which was fine once I explained my situation). Given the demand, it took a while to schedule the appointment. They were a little late but within expectations, and did a great job with the insulation. They left a few smudges here and there, but tolerable (thus the B grade). The overall clean-up was great. I can't comment on their repair work as non was done, but I certainly would get blown insulation from them again if I needed it.

    DMV Kitchen & Bath Inc
Dear neighbors, If you need someone you can trust - in your home and around your family - then this is the company, and these are the men, you can rely on. We contracted with DMV to finish our laundry room and an office and the fit, finish and performance of everything is first class! While they spent whatever time was necessary before the job to spec it all out to our approval, when customer decisions were needed in the midst of the job they did not push us to do what would be easiest for them - rather, they would explain the options involved in a way that was clear and that eased the decision-making process for us. Their crews showed up when they promised, with the skilled workers, tools and materials necessary to do a great job. Now, we are so proud of the rooms they created for us - we recommend them in the the highest degree! They do what they say they are going to do, and they do it with courtesy and class!

    Home Energy Rescue
We had an energy Audit by another company and had difficulty getting the work scheduled so I called Home Energy Rescue for an estimate on our much needed insulation project. We had less then 6 inches of existing insulation and there all there were so many excessive gaps in the attic that hot air was just pouring into the upper level of our home. Before the work was done our upstairs bedroom was 6 degrees hotter then the rest of the house and the AC air blowing out of the vents was never really cold do to all the leakage of our vents and the lack of insulation. The day after the service we had a heat wave and our bedroom was within one degrees of the lower level, I had the best night sleep. Home Energy rescue's estimate was less, and the work was scheduled quickly. They we accessible, and the workers were punctual. Home Energy Rescue returned with in two days to do a follow up Energy Audit and to fill out all the paper work required for the PEPCO 50% rebate.

    USA Insulation
It went really well. The salesman was not pushy and really took his time with us. The price was what I was expecting it to be. He gave us a date and he came out that day. They were really friendly. They picked up after themselves and you wouldn't have even know they were there.
