Amazing, I got to visit him as he grew, and have had all my questions answered by Jayme at the Virginia Location.

It was the second time we've bought dogs with them. Their attention to detail and caring for the dogs is what we like the most.

    Shiraz Farm German Shepherds
We purchased two gorgeous German Shepherds from Shiraz Farms in the past and just picked out our third. In 2007, we went to visit Shiraz Farms to look at German Shepherd puppies. Leigh asked us a lot of questions to ensure her puppies were going to good homes. At that time, we had a Jack Russell also. Leigh told us that if there were any issues with the dogs getting along, to bring the shepherd back. She also told us she never wants any Shiraz dogs to end up in shelters or rescues, so if anything were to ever happen, bring the dog back to her. Elmo was our first puppy from Shiraz. Leigh told us he was laid back and sweet. Good breeders know the personalities of their puppies well to make sure they are a good fit for their permanent homes. Elmo's personality as a puppy was the same as he grew older. He was the sweetest, most lovable German Shepherd. He did the breed proud. Many people who had bad experiences with German Shepherds met him and changed their opinion about the breed. In 2013, we decided to get a second shepherd and contacted Leigh. We wanted a little more spunk with this dog. We didn't want very high energy, but just more independence. Leigh introduced us to a few puppies and described their personalities. She was leaning towards a specific one for us, but wanted us to see the subtle differences in personalities. We chose our second puppy that day, and picked her up a few weeks later. Over the years, I kept in touch with Leigh. I send her pictures of the dogs and let her know how they are doing. She's always happy to hear the updates. We lost Elmo last fall. We chose to go back to Shiraz Farms to add another dog to our pack because both of our puppies grew into such beautiful and compassionate adults. Their personalities are so vastly different from each other, but just as described from when they were little. Both have been healthy, beautiful and loving. We look forward to bringing home the new puppy Leigh helped us select very soon.

    Denise Morris Cleaning Services
Manor House Goldens is a thoroughly professional operation that has a long history of raising golden retrievers that are free of genetic defects including hip problems and splenic cancer. The dogs are healthy, raised in a family home that is clean and loving. The dogs are well cared for. They have easy access to the outside when appropriate. While the price for these dogs is higher than it might be with some other breeders, the quality is so much better than I've seen elsewhere that the cost is justified. In addition, their prices are approximately equivalent to other similar dogs with clean backgrounds.

    Belquest Kennel
This would be considered a high quality breeder.  They are at the high end; however, every penny is well spent.  We chose them after a lot research on how to choose a good breeder.  (I was surprised to find someone so close to home and was prepared to travel to get the dog I wanted.)  We chose them because we were looking for an animal suitable to be trained to be an Austism Service Animal.  Our Golden Retriever purchased from Belquest now gets constant praise for hier exceptional good looks and excellent temperment.  She is the fourth Golden Retriever I have purchased over the years and getting her from a quality breeder has been well worth the cost.  While we are only at the beginning of her life, I expect that her over-all life time expense, excluding any accident(s), should be less costly than any of my other Golden Retrievers I have previously owned.  (I especially appreciate the amount time and effort the puppy raiser spent in helpling educated me.)  I would definately purchase another Golden Retriever from Belquest.  Our experience with them so far has set the bar very high.

    Tysons Corner Marriott
I went to Tysons Corner Marriott for a cat show. I bought my cat there. It was a good place to go to talk to the breeders. I was happy with my cat. I will use that breeder again.

    Dove Creek Aussies
They are just outstanding. They take real good care of the dogs. The animals are nice looking. They do a really nice job taking care of and rising these dogs. They are not a large scale highly commercialized operation, they only do plan like only one litter a pup a year instead of just churn them out.

They are extremely nice. I think their prices are comparable to everybody else, and in fact it may be a little more reasonable than some places.

    Endless Mountain Labradors
I recommend them.  I had a good experience.  They are really good breeders.  If anybody is looking for Labrador they are really good breeders.  They are too professional and they had us fill up forms before hand to know how we are going to raise the puppy.  They gave a lot of instructions upfront so that we could be prepared before we went to get the puppy.  There were instructions on food, vitamins and all the things.  They were thorough professionals and did a great job.  The stock is really good and we are happy with the puppy and it is very smart.  We have friends who have got puppy from them and they are really happy and it is a year old.  They have done a fabulous job with both the dogs.  One good thing is they were professional breeders and had appropriate questions that we could fill out.  They had information about the dog that they sent and once we reserved the dog they gave us upfront instruction on things we should do before we get the pet.  That is very useful for pet owner’s especially first time pet owners.  We were looking to get a pet for about a year before we actually got the puppy.  We had done a lot of reading and we knew a lot of stuff that they sent.  If somebody is not done the reading they’ll send a lot of information which is really helpful.  The puppies that they have are bred for temperament and they are not somber and are very good, loving, happy and intelligent.  I think that is the functionality of the breeder and the breed but the breeder has done a great job.  They are cheaper.

    Lowe's Home Improvment
I bought three fiberglass exterior doors, one full-glass Larson storm door, and a bifold door from Lowes in Woodbridge VA in July 2011.  I got two estimates. Lowes' estimate for all five doors and installation by Jackson Construction, a Northern Virginia door specialist,was--minus a couple discounts-- @$2600.  (I bought the Schlage door hardware separately).  The estimate was cleanly broken down by door, hardware, and molding. The only other estimate was from a company that had installed12 new windows on our house in 2005.  Their door estimate was @$5700--over twice the Lowes estimate and just a lump sum figure.  It was no contest.  I was familiar with the quality work of Jackson.  They had installed new doors on my father's house in December 2009, which helped sell the house at above-asking price in the midst of the housing meltdown and just before Snowmageddon in January 2010.  Installation of all five doors went smoothly and professionally, and was finished in one day.  They also rekeyed all six new locks to a single key for no charge.  The same Lowes had redesigned and rebuilt our kitchen in 2008:  new cabinets, plumbing, under-cabinet fixtures, all appliances. Price was phenomenally fair, desiners were great.  They pre-positioned everything in the living and dining rooms, and completed the job in 11 days.  I am a picky harry homeowner.  Both jobs were smooth as glass.
