    Aragon Chimney Services
Carlos did an amazing job in fixing our three exhaust pipes going through the roof. They were leaking water around them and now the leaks are gone. Carlos put new upgraded storm caps on them that will keep blowing rain out of them and he put tar over the flashings to seal them. Very professional and he was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend for any exhaust flue or chimney work!!

    Steve the Fireplace Guy
As Steve is in demand, there was a wait for the appointment for an evaluation. When he had a schedule conflict come up, his communication was good and the appointment was rescheduled to a mutually convenient time later that day. Steve arrived within the 2 hour window and gave me several reasonable options for this older but classic model unit, including replacing it with an updated version. Steve carefully examined, cleaned, and restored the gas log fireplace to full function. We chose to add an optional remote control for the starter switch, which Steve installed and charged for appropriately. He listened to and answered questions well. It was a pleasure to work with Steve, who really seems to enjoy this work. It was worth the wait.

Appt between 1pm and 5pm. Stayed home all day wrapping presents 1 room away from my front door. I got a text at 2pm the person was on their way. At 3:30 I called to check since NO one had arrived. The had a problem contacting the service person and at 4:30 called to tell me he was at my house and no one answered but he left a note. I checked my door and the surroundings but no note to be found. I was told someone could come the next day. I explained that I was having minor surgery that day and had to leave my house by noon. I was told NO PROBLEM we can do 7:am to 11:am. I asked for it to be before 10am. NO PROBLEM the time needed is 30 to 45 min. I received a text that the next day someone would arrive between 7am and 11am. At 11:am the day of the appt, I received a text the service person was on his way. He was 40+ minutes away from my house. When I called to cancel this visit and ask why the 2nd mess up, no one seemed concerned, Just do you want to reschedule. My answer was NO NO NO

    Aragon Chimney Services
Excellent. Carlos and his staff were punctual, worked hard, and did a very nice job. Without exception, everyone I communicated with from the company was a pleasure to interact with. The estimate appointment was easy to schedule, the estimate was clearly written up and the invoice/receipt was prompted emailed. I can't think of anything that Aragon could have done that would have made the experience better.

    Highs Chimney Svc
Instead of specifically dealing with the leak the individual told me I needed a new chimney from roof to furnace for $1800 because it wasn't the right size pipe for my furnace. Apparently this was a lie as three other companies and our home inspector said the chimney was up to code (and the furnace inspection was inspected and approved by the gas company).

This is a two part review. Part 1: The team for the sweep showed up early, went straight to work and swept the chimney. After the sweep, the lead advised me that my crown had cracks and would eventually fail and need replacement unless it was sealed, and that a brick in my chimney needed to have the mortar redone. By the way, this company pointed this issue out to me last year, but I couldn't afford it. He provided me with a quote for the extra work, and included a military discount, because he noticed on my Van the DoD stickers on the windshield. The sweep was well done. Part 2: American Professional Chimney, the day before I planned to call them reminded my by email of the quote. When I replied that I wanted the work done, they sent me an electronic signature link to authorize work. They met my schedule request. And called me to confirm. The team arrive a few minutes later than planned but in my area traffic stinks. I showed them where the water and electric were, and they went straight to work. I also had a loose brick on my fireplace, they fixed that during the time they had to wait for the crown sealant to dry (and since rain occurred the team lead wanted to inspect the work to ensure no weather impact). He also texted me before and after pictures. So, I am going to give total cost overall sweep and crown repair. Sweep cost was $89. Crown sealing cost and fix mortar issues was $315. It would have cost WAY more to replace the crown.

They team actually arrived early, went straight to work and got the job done quickly, with no mess in my house. Inspection of the chimney revealed some cracking on the cap, separation at the top that they immediately caulked to repair, and missing mortar on a brick. Gave me a reasonable estimate for the repairs that I plan to use, including a discount because the lead noticed that I was a veteran. These guys are prompt (second year I have used them, and they have been on time or early), clean, and pay attention to detail.

    THE FIREPLACE SHOP
Someone came to assess the wood-burning fireplace we already had, checking the dimensions. I needed the chimney swept and inspected, then placed my order. Someone called me to set up the appointment for the conversion within a few days (probably would have been sooner but it was the holidays) and was very prompt for the appointment. They tried to keep the area clean and explained how to use an maintain the new equipment. The entire process was smooth. I highly recommend The Fireplace Shop.

    Wolff Tree & Landscape LLC
Ben showed up on time, and after assessing that my yard was dry enough backed his truck into my driveway and partly on my lawn and dumped the wood so it was not blocking my driveway. After my Daughter, Son-in-Law and I were done stacking the wood, yep two full cords 4X4X8 feet for each cord across six wood racks. A few pieces were oversized for my wood stove, but a few minutes with my electric chain saw put them in order. Ben has delivered as promised four years in a row now.

I'd give them A across the board. They were on time and punctual. They left the house very clean. They didn't make a mess. My interaction with them was pleasant. The work was very good. It's a good chimney sweep.
