  • went very well.. My doctor, David Rossi, was fantastic. Took his time to discuss my overall health. Did not feel rushed. He explained test results in layman's terms so that I could understand. Felt very comfortable with him and would highly recommend him to others looking for a Primary Care physician.

  • This appointment could not have gone any better. We arrived on time and were greeted by the receptionist. The waiting area was clean and magazines for adults and children were available. We were seen within 15 minutes by Joseph who took us to one of the offices and took my son's vitals. He was incredible with my son. He allowed him to push the buttons on the blood pressure cuff to start the cuff inflation which really impressed my seven year old. Joseph waited patiently for my son to answer all the questions he asked of him and did not try to hurry him on his responses or finish his answers for him. I was very impressed with Joseph and could not have been happier with such a calm start to the appointment.

After seeing Joseph we met with Dr. Akan who was equally great. Just like Joseph, she asked my son all her questions and allowed him to answer them. She walked my son through the skin checks she was doing prior to conducting them and made a game of them as she was doing them: my son very much enjoyed his time with her. Dr. Akan then asked me all my concerns with my son and the results of previous tests given from other providers. She then walked us all through the allergy testing phase my son would undergo in another office room and said she would revisit us after the testing was completed.

We then met with Anthony who administered the allergy testing. He showed us how the test was going to be conducted and walked me through the best way to hold my son when the needles would be applied. I told him I brought a new Lego book to use as a distraction and he cleared off a part of the desk so my son could read the book while I held him during the needle application. Anthony was quick and the needles were done in seconds and not only were there no tears, there wasn't even a whimper.

While we waited the 15 minutes for possible allergens to show, Anthony and Joseph came back to our room to make sure we were okay. They both knew I was in panic-mode because of the needles and were happy to see I had relaxed. They explained that the parents are usually the ones quite scared of the testing process and we chatted for a few minutes. Toys were available in the testing office which kept my young daughter busy.

After the test, we were brought to another office where Dr. Akan walked us through some skin care techniques and then played a quick game of charades with my kids. She printed off some information for us, answered all remaining questions, and made a three month follow-up appointment for us.

I've thought about this appointment for some time now and I can't imagine how this visit could have gone any better. I highly recommend this office. There are many locations and I can only hope they are all this great. As for the Laurel location, even if it's a bit of a drive for you, definitely make your appointment here if you're having a young child tested.

    Great job, ENTAA Care!!

  • I have gone many times. Parking is great. There is never a long wait. Everyone is friendly and the doctor is amazing! I feel confident, safe and well taken care of there. Access to my doctor is beyond all others I go to or have ever gone to. I would not ever change where I go; they, especially Dr. McArthur is the best of the best!

  • Dr Akan is wonderful. I have now been back for 3 separate appointments, and also took my son in for testing. I asked about some issues I was having with the first allergy medication that I was prescribed at my son's appointment, and the doctor immediately took care of it, issuing me a new prescription. She is very thorough, and took plenty of time to address all of my concerns and answer all of my questions each time. She also made sure that I felt that I could contact her at any time should any issues arise.

  • Office consultation went well, good interaction with doctor and assistants. However, their recommended treatment (sleep study) was not a feasible option with a one year old. Following the sleep study, which did not go well, we did not hear back from the doctor's office for over three months.

  • I am new to the area and needed a yearly checkup and a refill on my birth control. Helpful hint: try to make the appointment weeks, or a month in advance. They sent the paperwork ahead of time so I didn't have to fill it out in the waiting room. The office staff could have been a little nicer. They were pleasant enough, and extremely efficient (I was taken in about five minutes after my actual appointment time! Kudos to an office staff that keeps everything running on time), but it felt like I was interrupting conversations when they were doing the preliminary stuff like blood pressure and height and weight.
My appointment was with a nurse practioner - Bernie. Bernie was awesome!!! She really knew her stuff, made me feel completely at ease, and listened to my concerns about my current birth control and provided a range of options.
I called back a few days later to change my prescription again due to a personal preference. Bernie was out, but a doctor called me right back, listened to my concerns, and made sure I got the right prescription.
Overall A+ and I will continue to see them for my yearly visits.

  • The staff that saw me was great - I got a number of tests as I usually do on these visits and did not have to wait long between each test.

I got my test results from my dr immediately the same day.

Hopkins treats me for a rare disease and have helped me function normally despite this difficult disease.

  • The office sometimes runs up to 30-45 minutes late, which puts the doctor behind, but i usually get all my questions answered. I like that there are EEGs, xrays, and blood work in the same building, so i can get all of my testing done there.

  • The office is nice, clean and spacious. The staff is nice. I've had a good experiences with the nurses and I love that they remember to tell you to use the facilities.Once you get back in the room, it's comfortable, warm and I've never waited very long. Dr. Wells has a fantastic bedside manner and makes me feel very comfortable. She answers my questions and seems genuinely concerned with my overall well being. I did have to wait a few weeks for an appointment, but that's standard in this area and part of the wait was that I had to cancel when I had the flu. Overall, I am happy and will never go to another practice.

  • Dr. Boughan was professional and personable. He took the time to understand my medical history, recommended a good doctor for a referral and updated all my prescriptions, even offering me a name brand med that I couldn't get via Tricare in the past. The overall office atmosphere was very good and all the staff I interacted with were extremely friendly. I'm extremely happy with my first experience at Johns Hopkins Health Care Center at Odenton.
