  • I see Dr. Yassind Daoud for cornea issues. He is remarkable in every way! Brilliant, caring, and exceptional. My experiences have only been positive under his treatment and care. He definitely comes with my highest recommendation.

  • As I said, Customer service had no explanation, and I received no notification. My company conforms I have paid my premiums, so there is really no reason for this. Aetna has poor poor customer service. I request they 1) I demand Aetna to quickly reestablish DeAnna. coverage 2) IAetna to not cancel coverage without sufficient notice and per federal and state requirements of the Maryland Insurance Administration (for which I'll be investigating a parallel complaint) 3) Ireimbursement to my company (and ultimately to me) charges I've paid to have coverage for my wife (listed as self + spouse) yet Aetna in their own admission has failed to provide.

  • So far I have been very happy with the coverage of this plan. It is quite generous, and does not even have a co-pay for preventative care. I'm also usually charge pennies (literally!) for my kids sick visits - which, as any parent would attest, is huge! I also like a new feature they started this year. About monthly we get a statement from them listing any claims under our policy, the provider's charge, their adjusted allowance, the amount they paid, the amount we owe (which the provider bills for) AND a running tally of how much we have paid out-of-pocket so far for the year and the yearly maximum we are required to pay before the insurance takes over 100%. I love the running tally part, because who ever keeps track of that stuff? I have also found that all of our usual doctors accept the plan and there are generous lists of additional providers who we haven't tried. And they paid for my acupuncture! I was shocked. At one point I was looking for a new doctor and I did find that the most well-known/recommended were on the list as taking new patients, but they really were not, or had a months-long wait for an appointment. That was a bit frustrating, but I suppose I could have gone to someone else, as there were other choices. But I am happily satisfied and plan to stick with this plan for the time being.

  • I moved from MN to VA and therefore needed to acquire new health insurance. Since I have a preexisting condition, I was pretty stressed out about the process.  I found Capital Benefits via Angie's List. The first thing I was happy to learn is that insurance brokers receive their commission from the health insurance company, so using Capital Benefits didn't cost me anything. Bob answered all my questions about the complicated world of health insurance in clear, everyman language. He guided me through the process step by step. He always responded quickly to my phone calls and emails. And, he's just a very pleasant guy to work with. Having his assistance greatly reduced my stress. I would highly recommend Bob.

  • Josh did a great job. Josh was as attentive to us, one family, as I assume he is to companies with many employees. The one thing I wish he would have done differently was to have  recommended we apply to more than one health insurer in the beginning.  Applying to only one company may be the right thing for some people, but not for our situation. I appreciated Josh's efforts in our behalf and I really liked all the helpful emails and calls.

  • They are good. They all know my father. I get Christmas cards and birthday cards from them. They all know me. It's really nice. They all talk to me. Their price is great. They do their job. They suggest medicine and also tell what to do. The staff is also fine. I would use them in the future.

  • We have several years' history of getting our prescriptions refilled from here. They send us a notice on the computer and it's just been very efficient. We are former FTA employees in the drug section, so, we are kind of picky about what our drugs look like, expiration date and things like that, but, they have been totally satisfactory. We were both extremely suspicious when we started going to them, but, it has worked out beautifully. They deliver the medicine at home.

  • The good thing is that they are all up to date with electronic medical records. There is no carrying or shipping of files or x rays - it's all online, which I consider the greatest thing - and it's the cheapest insurance there is for any government program!
