Dr. Solomon and his team are awesome! I have seen 2 doctors in the practice and both were great. I went in for a general eye exam and the staff was very friendly not to mention helpful. A few months later I was seeing spots and the receptionist got me in the same day. I saw Dr. Yecheskel she addressed all of my concerns without making me feel rushed or dumb. She ran a series of tests and I was tested and diagnosed with ocular migraines. I have referred all of my friends and family to this practice.

They have a lot of choices when it comes to glasses frames. I typically wait 10-15 minutes to be seen when I arrive - but I usually use that time to start picking out my new frames. Unfortunately, they don't fix the glasses if they break; I have to travel to another city to have my glasses fixed. They should be a one stop shop for their glasses care. The glasses are pretty reasonably priced.

Dr. Nnabue bought the practice of my long time ophthalmologist.
I have also seen doctors at Visionworks, when it was more convenient.
The great: I really liked Dr. Nnabue.
I subsequently took my mother to see him.
The not-so-great: the sales pressure to buy designer glasses there.
The office has the feel of a shop rather than a medical practice. I much prefer Visionworks, which I found more professional and reasonably priced.

The appointment itself went very well. Dr. Kim was personable and I found the exam to be very thorough. The equipment and technology used during trhe exam seemed to be up-to-date. Although the office was busy, I felt that Dr. Kim spent an appropriate amount of time with me. She recommended distance and reading glasses, and her recommendation was consistent with what I'd learned in my prior year's annual eye exam.
I then met with another woman to look at eyeglass frames. She made good suggestions but when I learned that I was not yet eligible to get new glasses under my insurance policy, I told her that I needed to think about paying out of pocket and purchasing frames from the office. I asked for a copy of my eyeglass prescription and was told that Dr. Kim's approval was needed to release the prescription. I waited a few minutes for her to get the release but was then told that Dr. Kim was with another patient and my prescription would need to be sent to me at a later date. I left my fax number and after not receiving the information in several days, I callled the office again and subsequently received the fax. I later learned that the informaition I received was incomplete and could not be used if I wanted to purchase less expensive glasses from another provider. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I have selected another eye doctor for my annual appointment this year. I appreciate that the practice makes money from selling frames but I am under no obligation to purchase frames from them.

Visual Eyes are very good with eye care and eyeglasses. The young lady who helped me with my glasses was extremely helpful. I was set on one type of glasses and she suggested that I try something else, make me look less dated. I took her recommendation. Also, the eye doctor is very good. He screened me for a couple of things, just to look out for. He referred me to an opthamologist and now, he's going to have some kind of test done on me, to see if some of these new vitamins, Octovite or something like that, would help. He's a very good doctor. Their glasses aren't cheap. They tend to offer, primarily, designer. So if you're looking for Lenscrafter quality frames, they have a very small selection in the lower price category. They're mostly the higher end. I've never had a problem with an appointment. Some of the staff are very, very nice and some are very professional. They don't smile. Once you know the price, they don't have any problems billing you and you know exactly what you're being charged for.

For one thing, she always takes her time with and answers all questions. She is very calming and is interested in your whole person. As far as other medical changes and how they may have affected your vision. I feel like I never have a dumb question with her. She encourages you to ask questions.

My eyesight is not very good. He gave me eye drops for some dry eyes. He did not tell me any of the application directions. He did not demonstrate how to apply the droplets.
