with a rubber roof/they also did work on the wood where the access was removed and re covered that with lumber insulation board then laid the roofing material. They worked with us all the way to make sure we were happy.

    The Gutter Guys
Fantastic! Gutter Guys provides great service (Steve C. and Rob R.). Had leak at gutter angle/miter and they came out to seal it. Also nearby down spout had brackets near top and bottom, but middle near seam was beginning to bow away from home (have really strong winds on that side of home). Gutter Guys installed their no show bracket to hold center of downspout close to home. Gutter Guys also cleaned and flushed gutters and discovered leak at another miter, which they sealed too. I had used Gutter Guys in 2013 to reinstall a different downspout that had blown down in heavy wind. Have had no problems with that downspout and Gutter Guys no show bracket. So it Gutter Guys earned right to be my go to provider for gutter/downspout repairs service. Have tall two+ story home with hard surfaces, basement stairwell, extensive flower beds and electric lines near gutters. Also I have neither extension ladder nor foolishness to attempt that type of job myself! With all the rain we have had this spring, it made perfect sense to protect my home and have the job done both quickly and professionally. Gutter Guys with Steve C. and Rob R. at Golden Ring location are great! Keep up the fantastic service!

Very hard working people, Husband and wife team. Unfortunately, They blew at least a dozen shingles up which caused inside water damage. I had to replace the roof plus 2 sheets of plywood from that.

I called the company for an appointment the person making appointments for new business is very nice and helpful.  I quickly got a representative out to my home, who was also very nice, seemed knowledgeable and friendly.  The representative also seemed to offer ideas to save money, however I soon learned it was to save them time and dollars for a large gain of profit from me.
The representative took a deposit for the services of $360.00, which was for about 20ft in new flashing across the top of my gutters across the back of the house, straight gutter.  I also requested a correction to the current gutters attached to the garage, joining the house and a hole repaired in the siding on one side of the house about 4 inches long, cracked in the lip of the siding.
The representative indicated the individuals coming to my home knew what they were doing and would check the gutters around my entire house and replace the flat head siding nails with screws to hold the gutter guards down around the house.  Also would be able to correct the gutter problem from the attached garage, which is currently cracking my foundation from a inch gap on each end joining the house.
After the representative took the deposit it was early in the morning, he indicated he would go immediately back to the company and provide the details of my job to the processer and they would call me with an appointment to complete the job.  The appointment may be next week, since my job was small, depending weather.  However indicated it could take up to 3 weeks to provide a date to completion of work, but indicted a person at the company would call to schedule the appoint 1 week to 3 weeks out, same day.  He was very nice and was trying to accommodate a next week appointment while I was off on vacation.
Two business days passed and a weekend, I had no call from the company.  This was an alarm something was wrong.  I checked my credit card, the deposit was collected, however I received no telephone call to schedule my appointment from the company.
I called the company on the 2nd business day, the owner returned the call within 20 minutes. The owner indicated he was on vacation returning my call and needed to understand my concern.  I explained the above, deposit collected, not a large job, no one has called to acknowledge I had work the company needed to provide and no appointment was in process from what I could tell.
The owner was very defensive and started to argue with me about how large his company is and how much business they have as well as how large of checks he receives from his business.  Also he wanted to put me in the middle of the unorganized process I soon learned the company has in place and therefore provides no quality customer service from the time someone takes your deposit.
Basically the representative coming to the home determining the job and pricing was the only professional and understood customer service. The owner should take lessons from him.
From what I could gather the owner seems to only want to provide service to large companies, resulting in large dollar returns.  The person making my appointment should screen for that and indicate they do not deal with small residential jobs.
I indicated to the owner as he was arguing with me and cutting me off in the middle of my conversation, I do not need to know the processing of a work order with his company or the size of his jobs.  The owner did finally indicate he could look at his internal processes, he doesn't understand "how the company failed me",  with this comment I gave him the chance to still keep my business.  The owner indicated he would personally come down, make sure the job was done correctly and would be back in town, providing an immediate appointment over the telephone, which was 3 days out.
Three days later I never received a telephone call the day before to tell me what timeframe the workers would be coming to my home.  I received a text message 7:32 in the morning, saying the workers were 20 minutes away, were collecting supplies and were on their way.  They arrived 4 hours later, so I was left hanging with my entire day.  The owner never showed and no one followed up on the satisfaction of the job.
When the workers arrived, they did not speak or comprehend English, they had no idea what to do, I had to walk them through the entire process again, which was explained to the representative that came to my home, who took pictures of the job.
The language barrier was so great, they did not understand me, so I pointed to the first problem of the garage gutter gap of one inch and pointed to the back gutters.  They said "no understand" for the garage and went to the back gutters.  They were working on the back gutters while one other person went to the truck to call the owner on what to do with the garage.  Also they had no knowledge of how to fix the hole in the siding.  I indicated I selected a color caulk that I was charged for to fix the hole they said "no, no caulk, no fix, but have some clear caulk on truck, if I would like".
I was frustrated was getting ready to call the company and the owner had texted me, while I was outside explaining the job to his workers.  The owner than called me to indicate there was a problem with the caulk and the representative will come by the next day to fix the hole.
I communicated to the owner I am very concerned, the individuals do not speak English and are not comprehending what needs to be completed.  I am confused did the representative explain to them, what were the pictures for?  The owner acknowledged the language barrier, but said they understand him, he got defensive again.
I simply did not want to deal with this anymore, I should have stayed with my gut instinct and canceled the job from this company.  I am thinking if I have a language barrier and the owner does, how does he think they understand.  The owner than indicated that is what the pictures were for to show them pictures as well.
So basically the owner hires workers, very cheaply, takes pictures and hopes through the language barrier and pictures his workers will understand.  Overcharging people for the job.
I am okay with hiring individuals to complete a specific task/job, but someone should be with them to make sure the job is being completed as discussed, make sure the job is finished and the owner is happy at the end.
I had to leave an hour into the job, I came home late to see the terrible looking flashing placed on the garage and could see no evidence any other gutter was screwed down.  Also my wires to my dish for cable were pulled out and hanging, looked terrible. I had to knock on a neighbor's door, he got his ladder and corrected the wires pulled out of place.
The representative never showed back up as promised the next day to caulk the hole in the siding and I never heard from the company how I thought about a job.
I am sure they will be very quick at sending me the rest of the $600. bill. From the little work completed it appears about $100.00 the most was the cost (including the labor), the rest was profit to this company, which is an extreme mark up of 800%.
I will never use this company again, everyone should stay away, I am very afraid they may have now caused roof problems for me, I have no faith they understood or knew what they were doing, especially with the language barrier.  The little bit of work I see they completed is terrible looking, flashing is cut like a child cut it, no attention to cosmetics, and the end of my gutter on the back of the house looks like a dog chewed it, which means they used what was there and beat it to conform.
This company should be removed off the list, seriously, I am concerned for what damage they could cause residential homes.

    The Gutter Guys
All of the workers at The Gutter Guys were polite and efficient.  First a company representative came to look over the work, give a demo of their gutter guard system, and provided the price.  About 3 1/2 weeks later, two workers arrived and completed the work.  I appreciate that the manager was able to schedule our work to meet a special deadline we had due to other construction work starting.  I would definitely recommend the Baltimore/Essex Gutter Guys.

It went GREAT!  While I knew there were no hidden issues (gutters were not ready to fall down, pieces of downspout missing), I actually liked that they drove by to confirm the scope of the work before they quoted a firm price).  I wanted it fixed quickly so there would be no water coming out of the spout and possibly damaging the garden around the foundation.  They came over the day promised and quickly did the work, reinstalling the downspoit and cleaning the gutters.  I also liked they were all professional. I would strongly recommend Gutter Guys and I would use them again.

Initially did not get a response from this company and submitted a poor review (see initial comments below).  Upon receipt of review owner Dan personally contacted me and was sincerely sorry for the oversight.  Subsequently he went above and beyond to call of duty to ensure that the slip up on their part was remedied to my satisfaction.  They quickly got out to the house and completed the work and did not charge for the service.

    Great example of service recovery.

Called over a week ago around July 12, 2012.  Spoke with gal who took my name, number and what I needed done, which was one simple downspout put in.  She said someone would go to the home and give me a call, nothing but crickets since.

With all the work that was completed everything seem to go smoothly.  We completed our projects in two phases. We did the outside work first and the inside second.  Everyone who worked at my house was polite and professional.  Our salesman stayed in contact with us from start to end.  All of the work completed looks great!  We will definitely use this company for future projects and refer

them to our friends and family.
