  • We've moved, and Chesapeake Urology (the office in Fulton, MD) was recommended by my primary care physician.
BPH and ED are longstanding issues. The office is in a nice, newly-developed area. It's an interesting hi-tech office. Forms are filled out on an i-Pad (or equivalent), and they have an on-line patient portal which you can use to see your information, make appointments, etc. The interface, though, took some getting used to. Dr. Fenig was professional and took my issues seriously. He changed my prostate med to a generic (saving me $; works just as well), had me try some urethral ED treatment, in place of pills (there were plusses and minuses), and performed a penal Doppler (not nearly as embarrassing as I thought it might be). I'd recommend.

  • He had an office in Columbia.  He is amazing.  My husband needed an appointment in an emergency.  He went to him, his treatments worked every time, they were always effective, he was professional, was clearly upon the latest recommendations, and did different screenings for tests.   He had a good system for leaving messages to get to him, and to get back to us.  If my husband needed to get in for a followup, they gave him a lab slip.  Another doctor told my husband to get tests done for related urological issues, so we called Dr. Rodriguez up, they set up the PSA tests, and were very responsive.  Dr. Rodriguez knew my husband was under treatment, so when we called to get the PSA tests, it wasn't a problem, and he trusted us.  I talked to other people including a  woman that went there, they gave good reviews, and it was comforting.  Even when he saw him for the first time as a new patient, my husband got in quickly.  I give him the highest ratings and would go there in the future if needed.

  • Dr. Kishel was gruff and unfriendly. When he performed the cystoscopy on me he was very rough and caused me unnecessary pain. He seemed to be in a hurry and rushed the procedure. When it was over, he left the operating room without saying much to me. A nurse had to brief me and handle the aftermath of the procedure. Dr. Kishel has no bedside manner and no people skills. My dealings with him were uniformly unsatisfactory. His diagnosis was totally incorrect and his treatment inappropriate for my condition. How he could not see an enlarged prostate obstructing my bladder outlet with a cystoscope is mind-boggling.

  • I like his bedside manner and the promptness of my appointments. He is with Central Maryland Urology.
