Upholstery Cleaning reviews in Laurel

  • Luis and his team were excellent. I feel like I got double the service for the half the price I would have paid a national chain. The level of effort that went into my rug and upholstery cleaning truly was above and beyond. I will definitely use their services again.

  • For the most part I am pretty happy with the results. Did a great job on the interior, good job on exterior. Wheels still brake dusts in some spots that I removed myself and some globs of tree sap on hood that I also removed with auto sap remover, I would have thought that was part of the detail, but not a deal breaker by any means. What did disturb me was that they upped the price by 50.00, the owner personally told me the cost was going to be 199.00 then raised it to 250 when I went to pick up the car and to add insult to injury his assistant ask for a tip. I might have given them a tip but I figure they self tip by hiking up the price. Would I recommend yes but conditionally, get the price in writing.

  • This is the second time we have used Rich for carpet cleaning. This time we also had all our tile floors/grout cleaned. What beautiful work. I highly recommend him. His estimates are spot on, he takes time to let the dog adjust to him ( bribery with chicken treats may have occurred) He shows up exactly when agreed to ( if not early) His work is meticulous, and I am very picky. he knew that one of our throw rugs would bleed and removed it for cleaning off premises. He returned with a spotless rug. Wonderful experience again.

  • The provider showed up right on time. He set to work right away. He clearly was expert in his field. The furniture and carpet look wonderful, and the provider was courteous, professional, and gave me some hints for maintenance, I will definitely use My Carpet Cleaning Service again.

  • This is the second time that I utilized this vendor. I came back because I was extremely satisfied the first time. I specifically requested Gary because he had done such a great job the last time he was at my home. He did not disappoint me this time either. He was very professional and diligent in his work. He was accompanied by another team member who was also effective in getting the job done. Both men worked for hours to clean the carpets and furniture throughout my house. They arrived in time and utilized the time effectively to complete the work in a timely manner. I commend this company for great workers who seem to take pride in a job well done.

  • I believe we didn't pay any extra cost. The person who came was polite and respectful of our house, and did the job and did it with what appeared to be his best average. In terms of what the actual cleaning did to remove stains from a bigger sofa, he really didn't take out a lot of stains we were hoping he would. I have a feeling these stains were just too old and permanent to come out. I don't think it was necessarily his fault. I don't know whether if we had someone come to the house to give us an estimate that if they were honest they might have said these won't come out very much that we wouldn't have done it, but of course we purchased it without having someone seeing the situation. I think they made it somewhat better. Of course our dog went right back to the couch. I don't think he would put stains on it this early but we had to keep him off because we had to air out. I don't think I can call that his fault. His stain remover solution can do just what it can do. He didn't overscrub it to try to get the stains out because that would probably raise the fabric up and it wouldn't be any better, if not worse. He did what he was supposed to do but it didn't work. The price seemed highest to me but then again anybody who would come to the house to do that is going to charge that. The question is, was it worth it? The stain is still there and I was thinking of putting a little shawl at the back of it or pillows to make the stains less noticeable. The other chair came out fine though. It was a wing chair that this fellow cleaned up. It had actually come out a little better than the large sofa. They were very responsive. They came when they were supposed to. I don't think that we thought we should call him back because I pretty much discussed with him when he agreed that he would work. He was honest. He didn't lie to us at that point. Once I do this, it's going to be great. It did get a little better but he didn't take all the stains out. It looks fine. It actually isn't that bad. We are probably moving within a few years and we'll be getting a new couch anyway, but this is fine. There was nothing that he did wrong. He came when he was supposed to come. We didn't have to wait for him. We would use him again but I'd be more careful about what we are trying to have him do and maybe talk to them about the success of the work ahead of time because that's important. It's like if there was a big hole in one of the cushions and he cleans the whole thing, and the hole is still there, then that is kind of silly. I'm not saying this is the situation here but this is a matter of setting my expectations to them. If someone had come out and say they can clean it but knowing this type of fabric and how old the stains are, there's a good chance they won't change too much when they clean it, I would approve a little bit. It's better looking than before they cleaned it but there were stains in it that didn't really come out. I don't think that anybody gave us false advertising. No one said they would take out anything, don't worry about it. That's not what happened. It wouldn't be fair to blame someone who didn't trick us. There was no deception.

  • EXCELLENT...the service technician, Russ, was very punctual and professional. He explained the cleaning process, cautions and actions he would be taken to ensure quality service. Russ never appeared rushed to get the job done but worked at a steady pace.
I would have no reservations calling  them for repeat service.

  • He did a great job. The carpets looked great. And, he donated his time to help our building look its best for Easter and saved us the cost listed. He is a great guy, hard worker, honest, and I would highly recommend his services.

Angelo of Hydro Clean arrived at our home on time to clean our loveseat, sofa and king size pillow top mattress.  He finished the loveseat and sofa and we were satisfied with the work. The problem arises when he starts to clean the mattress.
He cleans about half of the mattress before he stops to notify my spouse that he tore the fabric.  He was apologetic and informed my spouse that someone would be in touch to examine it and to determine whether it would be repaired or replaced.
    Wednesday, February 26
Stephen of Hydro Clean arrives at our home, takes pictures of the damage, and then informs my spouse that he would have to run this by "Chuck" (the owner) to determine whether the mattress would be repaired or replaced. This is where Hydro Clean's  customer service spirals down hill.
    Thursday, February 27
No call or email from anyone from Hydro Clean
    Friday, February 28
My spouse called Hydro Clean and spoke to Sarah to inform her that Stephen had not been in touch with him.  My spouse also called later the same day and left a voicemail to reiterate this.
    Saturday, March 1
I emailed Sarah at Hydro Clean to inform her that we were anxious to get our king size pillow top mattress -- Hydro Clean damaged -- repaired or replaced with no call or email back from Hydro Clean.
    Sunday, March 2
We didn't hear from Hydro Clean by phone or email.
    Monday March 3
We didn't hear from Hydro Clean by phone or email.
    Tuesday, March 4
My spouse called Hydro Clean and spoke with Christina who informed him that we would receive a check to replace our mattress with no additional details.
Sarah finally wrote back via email on Tuesday.  She stated she would let Stephen know that Chuck (the owner) had NOT gotten in touch with us and as soon as she heard from him she would either let me know or have him give me a call. She also mentioned to let her know if I had any questions.  Sounds like the "run around" doesn't it?
I wrote back and asked if she had any idea when our issue would be resolved. Sarah wrote that she had let Stephen know but that he was in "the field." That they were doing "everything they could" to resolve it.
    Wednesday, March 5
I emailed Sarah twice on 3/5 to first ask her if she had an update for me.  I  then let her know what type of mattress we had so that we could receive the check from Hydro Clean to replace it like Christina stated on 3/4.
I didn't get a response from Hydro Clean.
    Thursday, March 6
Stephen of Hydro Clean called my spouse to ask for the cost to replace our king size pillow top mattress. We had already provided the mattress type via email and he came to our home to take pictures of the damage that Hydro Clean caused (but that's an aside). My spouse did the research and called Hydro Clean back the same day.  He told Sarah what the range of prices were to replace the mattress.
Stephen from Hydro Clean never called back.
I emailed Sarah to inform her of this. She had not responded to an email from me since 3/4.  She finally responded back that Stephen was "in the field."
    Friday, March 7
Stephen called my husband offering that Hydro Clean repair the mattress after initially asking for the cost to replace the mattress.  He offered between $150-$200 over the phone with repair of the mattress. Stephen then recapped the conversation over email to offer $150.  Our mattress hadn't been completely cleaned and damaged since 2/25. We were nearly two weeks past the time they should have replaced or repaired and cleaned the mattress.
I emailed and expressed my displeasure with the offer. He emailed a better offer (not a great one) with a "Damages Release" form attached that would prohibit us from taking them to court to recoup additional damages.
I asked if he would send someone out on Saturday before 11am. Stephen said his "upholstery guy" would be in touch later that same evening. We never heard from Hydro Clean's "upholstery guy" or Hydro Clean.
    Saturday, March 8

I emailed Stephen again to ask if the "upholstery guy" was coming to fix the mattress. Stephen told us that the "upholstery guy" was unavailable for a Saturday repair but that he (Stephen of Hydro Clean) would contact us on Monday
    Sunday March 9
No correspondence with Hydro Clean via email or phone.
    Monday, March 10
I emailed Stephen and Chuck and received no response from Hydro Clean via email or phone.
    Tuesday March 11
I emailed Stephen and Chuck and received no response via email or phone.  The "upholstery guy" Tony finally called my spouse and scheduled to repair our mattress on Thursday, March 13th
    Thursday, March 13
The upholstery guy, Tony arrived on time to repair our mattress. I'm still wondering why Hydro Clean couldn't have resolved this a week and a half ago. It total it took 2 weeks and 2 days for them to resolve a problem that they caused and they still didn't finish the work they were originally contracted for which was to clean the mattress.  Chuck (the owner) NEVER called or emailed to apologize either.
    Some time later
Hydro Clean offered a settlement amount only if a damages waiver was signed.  Please see March 7....

  • John arrived on time and explained the cleaning process before beginning the work.  The only challenge in the job was to treat a small area of carpet stained by an oil-based paint and the results were very good even though the stain was months old.  John cleaned an extra upholstered chair since my furniture was on the small side and there were no other major cleaning issues.  The cleaning process was fast and there was very little odor associated with it.  Everything dried within a couple of hours.  I was happy to pay for the service.
