Sunrooms And Patio reviews in Laurel

    Rezen Contractors Inc
I usually don't write reviews even when a company has asked me to, but I am so impressed and ecstatic about the work that Rezen Contractors recently completed for my townhouse. I wanted to remodel my existing old wood deck and replace it with composite materials or completely redo it and put a screened in porch or sunroom. I hated the maintenance of a wood deck. My wood deck railing was falling off and the deck itself was moldy and some of the wood was rotted, but the foundation was solid. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do mainly because I thought the price would be unreasonable or that the HOA would not approve it and because, in the past, many contractors had come out and told me I couldn't do it because of the BLR or because of new county code regulations or the estimates they provided were absorbent/ridiculous. But in this last round I had Anilton from Rezen come out and because of his sound advise and recommendations I was able to do both, an extended composite deck and screened in porch, for a reasonable price and got everything I really wanted. Anilton completely got my vision, was professional and understood my requirements. The work that he and his team performed was meticulous, went well above expectations, was reasonably priced, and completed within his quoted schedule at contract signing, within budget and professionally done. As it had to go through the HOA for approval, he provided professional architectural drawings, material samples and pictures. He even filled out my HOA design modification application forms. I believe because of his meticulous and professional paperwork and drawings, we were easily able to get the HOA approval the first time. He also worked the necessary permits and inspections. He documented every change order, liens, details and warranty information. He didn't disappear, he checked into the job site frequently to make sure the work was getting done. He was responsive and reachable via email and text. He met his schedule, he met my requirements and, while many said it couldn't be done on a townhouse in my development, it was done and I ended up with a beautiful extended deck with composite materials and a new screened in porch. I highly recommend using them. Contact Anilton and you won't be disappointed. I've had some really bad experiences with contractors in the past over the years but Rezen is that diamond in the rough of contracting companies, I am definitely going back to him for my bathroom remodeling in a few years. Sorry that the pictures don't do deck and screened in porch enough justice.

    Bowlin Home Improvements LLC
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ( ***** FIVE STARS ) !!! "SUPER DAVE" - BOWLIN HOME IMPROVEMENTS, LLC. and his team "Artisan Craftmen" deserve the highest recommendation for this very difficult custom remodeling job. The final result was delivered "...ahead of schedule and under budget! " Dave and his team had to work around a disabled homeowner who had to stay in the property during construction. Dave and his team were extremely mindful and accommodating. They showed up every morning on time - worked non stop 10 / 12 hour days - layed drop cloths in the entrance foyer, up the steps, down the hall, in the bedroom and covered all of the furniture in plastic which they picked up and vacuumed each night before leaving. The entire bathroom was torn completely out. All new plumbing installed. Bathroom built-ins were custom fashioned on the spot. Bathroom was custom designed to accommodate disabled without noticing. Elegant shower soap dish and toilet paper holder are actually OSHA approved handycap grab rails. Dave and his team rebuild the walls reinforced by using 4 X 4's which he securely bolted the safety handicap grab rails to in order to handle my 275Lb needs. The custom tile with inlay looks as if it was performed artisan stone Masons. Low height shower entry. The finished product makes you feel as if you're visiting a 5 Star Hotel. Shoreline Remodeling
We liked him when he came to do an estimate for a bathroom remodel. He sounded knowledgeable and his turn around to get us a written estimate was great.   After we reviewed his written estimate, we had two final questions before signing the contract.  We asked for a list of references and clarification on pricing and he said he would get back to us.  We called twice with no return. We sent an email to which he finally replied and said he decided not to do the job, without any explanation why. His email reply refers to something about lowering the price but that was not the pricing issue we were questioning.  This company still advertises that they do this type of work so I know it is within the realm of their ability and not something they no longer do.  I'm not sure what we questioned that he did not want to tell us but instead decided to cancel. We try to hire and promote small business when ever possible to help them grow. It's a shame the way things worked out.  I would not feel confident working with a business that deals with customers this way.

    Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms
It went very well.  Adam Ford was the Representative.  He was informative and provided useful ideas and suggestions without the hard sell.  After the meeting, we decided to put our plans to replace our current patio on hold for one year.  We hope to follow up with Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms in September 2015

He did very well. There were some other things that he’s going to have to have some further stuff on and he’s going to take the payment I’ve already made to do the original work and apply that towards what he’s going to have to do to fix something else that also needed some touchup. So I thought I’m extremely happy with the service. In fact, it was the owner himself was the one who came out and did it today. It’s awfully nice of him to do this because he got up on ladders and he got up and checked the roof and he checked all of the windows and stuff and made sure all the gutters are working correctly and he showed where one was not turned properly and he’s going to change that but he said that he would pick up the difference on that one because he didn’t think it was going to be all that much and you can’t get better than that. When the owner offers something, I’ll accept it. Jack Walker is one of the owners and he showed up today and he showed up exactly, in fact he sat out on the street until it was exactly the time he was supposed to be here. He was here a little bit less the hour that he was supposed to be here but I got fantastic service and he fixed a few things that needed to be fixed right away. He was showing out a couple of other things that needed touchup and he thought of a way to fix it without whatever. He said to not worry about it and they will handle all of the things after he has the chance to talk with somebody else of what it’s going to cost to match up the gutters. He was just so sweet and helpful and I thought that was a gentleman. His pricing is fantastic.

    Maryland Sunrooms/Four Seasons Sunrooms
The effort took weeks to complete with 17 posts required to support the room, stairs and side deck. The workmanship, both materials and labor, were wonderful. Two highly experienced carpenters did the installation. They were competent, friendly and had a fabulous work ethic. When issues came up, they clearly chose the options that would be most satisfying to me, the customer. The company supervision was responsive, caring and committed to high quality work. The end-product is top-of-the-line. The glass is insulated as advertised providing protection from the direct Sun and outdoor temperature variations. The heat pump is quiet and effective. The windows and outside doors are well aligned and easy to use. This addition has so changed our enjoyment of this house that we no longer talk about ever moving again.

    Remodel USA
I think on the whole it went pretty well. Remodel USA was the subcontractor and I think they were hampered by the restraint of having to follow directions from Owens Corning an not the homeowner (us). The were prompt, courteous, responsive and left the addition and the yard clean.
