    E & F Masonry LLC
Very pleased; they did a great job and exactly as I wanted it. Eusebio was very responsive and flexible, giving options to help keep the price within my range. The work was done in 3 consecutive days, and they cleaned up really well when they finished. They also took care of a small side job without any problem.

Outstanding. The owner Eusibio was very responsive. He stayed in touch by phone and text and would update me by text on arrival times and was on time. They did a great job taking care of a couple of issues I was not even aware of. Definitely would use them again and highly recommend them.

    Best Landscape & Construction
Initial contacts were all timely and professional but I had to contact owner a couple of times to actually schedule the work. On the day that was scheduled the crew was late and when I contacted owner he apologized but stated that he hadn't called me to say that crew was unable to show up that day. I was unhappy to say the least but had also taken Day off from work. He was very apologetic and agreed to a discount. The crew came 4 days later. There were some initial communication problems about the extent of the work to be provided which we worked out over the phone with the owner. The end result was fantastic repair job, thorough clean up. And I got a discount. But I would be anxious about hiring them again due to all the difficulties described above

I called to receive an estimate and he just had me text him pictures of the brick work so he could see what needed to be repaired. He texted me a reply that same day with an estimate and I was able to schedule him to come out that next week (it was on a Thursday I replied back wanting to schedule it). He was unable to make it the day he said, but texted me that evening letting me know he ran behind at a job and would be there tomorrow. I came home from work the next day and all of the work was complete and looked beautiful. Our front porch looks so much better now that the brick work has been repaired. Thanks for high quality work at a very reasonable price.

i had stone veneer placed on my garage to match a portion of the house. They did excellent work. The stone work on the garage actually looks better than the stone work on the rest of the house. Estubio was punctual and kept me informed regarding the project.

    Russo's Construction Co
Mr. John Russo and his crew did a superb job on repairing the crumbling concrete wall around the exterior steps to my basement, and in replacing my old driveway and front sidewalk. Their prices were reasonable: $5,985 for removal of old driveway and sidewalk, and replacement with new, and removal of 2 very large bushes; $2,375 for repair of concrete wall. The work was done so professionally, and Mr. Russo communicated with me throughout the project. Also, they did a great clean up job of the site before they left. I've seen the excellent results of Russo's Construction jobs throughout my Laurel neighborhood over the years - I'm very glad I hired them for my job.

    Miller's Chimney & Hearth Retailer
They were running a bit behind, but informed me early enough that it wasn't an issue. The work was completed promptly and I am very satisfied with the results. I cannot tell that there had been any damage at all. Great work!

Responded to initial call promptly and came out to do estimate

Cost ran a bit above estimate due to our preferences in materials used

He and his crew worked very hard and seemed anxious to please us

Was willing to draw up a contract with us, which we typed up for him (Feliciano)

Very friendly, nice people, easy to work with, and they seemed to be honest

Had a good eye for things needing to be done in our yard; if we had the money, we could have kept him employed for half the summer!

MS Masonry and Stone Services inc
I lived in Boston and I hired them to fix a chimney at my house. They were so professional and helpful. The first company that I called they said I had to do a new chimney but I decided to go with a second opinion and when they came they said I only had to repoint the chimney. I was so impressed with the work, the chimney was old and leaking. They fixed the problem and made the chimney look like brand new. I highly recommend them.

    J & G Masonry & General Contractors - Glenn Taylor
We met with Glenn and Josh a few times before beginning the project. They had a nice professional proposal and were always responsive on the phone. They preferred phone and mail over email but that was fine with me.   I priced out about 8 different masonry companies since the price for this foundation and slab was all over the map (range from 9k to 24k).  J&G was slightly higher than the lowest company but their customer service, reputation on Angieslist, and responsiveness made us select them.  We had a few weather delays.  Glenn was great at explaining what they were doing and when.  If I asked them to tidy up the site, they took care of it right away.

They laid the rebar for the footers and while we waited for inspection, the rain made a big mess of everything.  After waiting for the ground to dry out, they cleaned up the holes and removed all the soft mud.  The rebar was all put back into place and we were able to pour the concrete and have it set up.  We also had a piece of rebar attached to the footer rebar for a footer electrical ground.  Once our electrician comes out, the grounding wire can be tied in to the rebar.
After that week, things moved a bit faster with building the block walls with anchor bolts, backfilling, adding a load of gravel for grading, and finally pouring the slab.  In their proposal, Glenn had written that they would do the 6" wire mesh in the slab but then proposed having the concrete supplier add fiber reinforcement to the concrete at the plant instead.  The inspector was okay with this change.  My understanding is that while the fiber reinforced concrete is slightly more expensive, it's less labor.
It's been about 3 weeks and we are very satisfied with the work J&G performed.  Other contractors have all said it looks like they did a great job.
