    SMITHWRIGHT HOME IMPROVEMENT SERVICES, LLC
Smithwright has contacted me and will be calling me on Monday, May 27 to let me know when he might be able to start. We have gone back and forth via email so that he understand what is needed. As stated, he called Monday and asked if I was available the next day at 9am to have the maintenance performed which was perfect. He called Tuesday morning before 9 to inform me he was running a bit late and would be there between 9:30 and 10. He arrived as promised. We discussed the maintenance to be perfomed including what I was interested in and he evaluated the door and issues and recommended the weatherstripping but stated the sweep was still in decent shape, so I agreed to only the weather stripping. He went to the local Lowes to pick up the necessary materials and returned in reasonable time and began. It took a little over an hour. I reviewed the work and it appeared to be a good job. Bill asked if I had considered a storm door which I stated I had recently. He stated he usually charges for a minimum of two hours but gave me a discount which was appreciated. The entire job cost $193 (including materials). Considering the cost, job quality, and customer service; I would definitely hire Smithwright again for any handyman type work.

    Fast Fix Handyman
After previous bad experience and unfinished job. I was skeptical to hire somebody to finish what others did not. I am glad I did. The estimate was fair, the job was done in about a weeks time. Miguel and his workers were responsive, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. They explained the steps to us, wasted no time, and cleaned up after each day. I will definitely use them on my future projects.

    Hassle Free Home Improvements, Inc
Mickey was a pleasure to work with on a personal level. He was timely in quote responses and made himself available off hours for showroom visitations and material selections. His quotes were more reasonable then others we had received. As the project was underway we had a steady crew of workers that performed the day to day job and it was nice seeing the same faces each day. Communication from Steve, the head builder was frequent and he answered any questions we had. The quality of work was top notch. We are very pleased to present the finished master bathroom to our friends and family. The mudroom turned out perfect even though we went into it with a rough idea of what we wanted. They were flexible and helped give ideas on layout, functionality, and looks. I plan on using them again for kitchen work in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

    Handyman At Your Command
I had a number of small projects I needed done that I could not do my self (replace all smoke alarms, install a eyless entry deadbolt, replace GFI, etc). I wanted to hire a firm I had used before but they do home remodeling exclusively now. Instead I hired these guys. They came to my house on three different occasions, each time for two to four hours. There were three guys and each one was as good as the next -- Larry, Endor and Chris. Each time either they or we (me and him) had to make a run for parts and that was just part of the service. Each one was knowledgeable, competent and friendly. The only thing is at $80 per hour, time and cost can get away from you. Four hours is $320 and if you have a lot, four hours can fly by. That notwithstanding, Handyman At Your Command is my new handyman from here on out.

Mr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and North PG
This is the worst service I've ever received from a contractor. On Oct. 1st, Mark was the individual who met with my friend at my property to assess the damages and provide an estimate on handyman work. I am located in Germany, but rent the property out. So, I'm coordinating everything from thousands of miles away. Mark met my friend; he was on-time and friendly. I talked with him over the phone, he seemed as though he was sort of rushing, but I still persisted to ask my questions. He asked for my credit card number (which he made time for that), I gave it to him so he could provide me the estimate. That estimate is $168, which is ALOT, but I figured the company received good reviews, so maybe I can put this money toward the actual work in my property. Then, there were issues with my credit card; it was deactivated due to fraudulent activity. I immediately called his office back the next day and gave them an updated card. Mark sent me the invoice that day (Oct. 2nd). I did not hear from him that next day. I called on Oct. 4th, and asked him where's the estimate? I paid $168 and still no estimate. Him, myself, and my husband talked through the repairs and told him what we would want the company to fix. He said "good, and he would send the estimate tomorrow morning". It is Saturday morning and no estimate. So, I've paid $168 for a product that I've paid for 4 days ago and still haven't gotten anything. If I can't rely on this company to provide me with an estimate, there's no way I will trust them in my property. I would like my $168 back, and I will not be hiring this company for any work. If I do not receive my money back, I will report this company to the Better Business Bureau.

    Samuel Construction Group LLC
I purchased the 8-hour handyman deal and I am very happy with the service. Samuel arrived on time and immediately started working and worked through eight hours. I had two pages of tasks and he was able to complete most of the tasks. I like the fact that before starting a task, he asked questions to ensure that we agreed. He also allowed me to dictate the order of the completion of the tasks. I had other companies/contractors and they always want to do things their way. Additionally, the workers do not ask questions and they take many breaks that leads to me having to purchase additional hours. I will definitely hire again.

    Bowlin Home Improvements LLC
We're selling our home and had some work/repairs to do per the inspection report. We've worked with Dave Bowlin numerous times and know that his work is impeccable. He and his crews are always on time, masters at their craft, honest, friendly, and on budget. Therefore, we knew we only had one call to make to get the work done from the inspection report--one call to Dave Bowlin. Dave Bowlin came immediately to go over the report with us and prepared an estimate for the work that same day. He was able to adjust his schedule to fit in a crew to get everything done in a day--well ahead of our settlement date. As always, the crew was knowledgeable and professional; everything was expertly completed. They showed up with all the needed materials and cleaned up the work areas when they were done. We are more than pleased and are always happy to recommend Dave! We will miss Dave and his staff as we are moving out of state, but we will leave a strong recommendation for the new owners to call Dave whenever they need anything done at the house. If we ever move back to Maryland--we know who to call! Thanks for everything, Dave!

    Bowlin Home Improvements LLC
Excellent! Dave was very responsive to all my questions and concerns and his recommendations were reasonable. He and his team arrived on time, (once the weather cooperated!) and everything on my list was done in 2 days. Three faucets repaired; re-caulking in one bathroom and re-grouting in the other. The deck was just going to be a replacement of the three posts, including bringing it up to code by adding footers and concrete piers. However, on closer inspection, the original construction was never done correctly. So, they had to replace the support beams, as well. I will be contacting Bowlin in the near future for more work to be done.
