    Unicorp Home Energy Services
The work done by the company was excellent. They were quick and efficient. The finished product looks great. My only issue was drip edge was not installed. When I asked about it they agreed to install it. My neighbor who is a building inspector said it is a requirement in the county so I'm unsure why it was not installed to begin with. Overall though I highly recommend the company. They were very easy to work with and it was obvious their main goal was to make sure we were happy with the finished product.

    Willis Builders Inc
We thought Matt Willis was very diligent, responsive and easy to work with. He sent out Gio to lead the work and I was really impressed with him. We've worked with 3 other contractors in the past, one for an addition, one for a kitchen, and one for a bathroom. Gio was definitely the best and easiest to work with. Highly recommend.

    Power Home Remodeling
Excellent, professional service! The company described everything that they needed to do, what could be expected once old windows were removed, any challenges with the installation of new windows, and the quality of the clean up. A job site coordinator was frequently on site and the company followed up with a quality control specialist.

    Omar's General Contracting
Requested estimate and bid for a large renovation project. Had issues with scheduling initially. Then we met at the property to discuss. Blue prints were requested. Coordinated pick-up, and was again delayed in picking up. After, multiple follow-ups by email and phone, still have not heard back from anyone. No one answers the phone, it always goes to voicemail. Providing large prints of architectural plans cost money. They literally wasted both my time and money.

    Homefix Custom Remodeling
They found me on the street while I was getting the mail. I told him I didn't want to talk to him. He kept pushing and pushing for about 15 minutes and Ifinally agreed to make an appointment. I made an appointment, fellow came out to the house. He gave me a price of $60,000 to do the work, told me my house was in bad condition. I told him I couldn't afford that. He spent about 5 hours in my house, It was a terrible thing I couldn't get rid of him. He kept pushing and pushing, and he kept dropping the price. So when he finally made an agreement, I guess I did it to get rid of him. I called the the next day and cancelled it. Then I had other people calling me and kept pushing it, and dropped the price down to 38000 I agreed and then called and cancelled it. Someone else called me and finally dropped it down to 35,000. then somebody else called and dropped it down to 30000. I agreed on that and they gave me a year and a half to pay for it cause I didn't have the money. They came out here and I was so upset, I tried to cancel it completely but they told me I couldn't cancel. It was a hard experience for maybe 2 weeks.

They were highly rated on your List for good work so I guess that is why I agreed to it. They came out and did a fantastic job. A fellow named David was in charge of it and he was just great. Everything that was hanging on the porches was put back with perfect detail. Everything was great and they did wonderful work. But the whole idea of getting to the price that I got to and the aggravation I had to go thru for a couple weeks was almost more than I could handle.

They came out the day they said they would. They finished the whole project with a whole bunch of gremlins running around the house. The guy David was phenomenal, I can't praise him enough. If they lost him, they would probably suffer a big loss. I would give the workers an A. Everything was an A except the whole process getting to it

I feel sorry for any customer who they come out and see because they double the price to start with. And that really bothers me, beware of their tactic. I would be scared to use them again, but I loved the work.

    Mid-Atlantic Gutters & Exteriors
Quality installation of a superb product by a varsity team of gutter professionals.
John and his staff did an outstanding job putting all new K-guard gutters on our house to include installing over 100 feet of new 2X8 facia board around the 3rd floor of the house to ensure the gutter system remains in place.  Our house was built in 1894 and they were able to work through all of the "findings" that come with a house that age - and stayed on budget!  Very professional, high quality work.  We didn't go with the cheapest bid, but chose John and his staff because we felt they would do a good job and they did.  We are very happy with the end product and highly recommend his company.

    Crystal Exteriors LLC
Our experience with Crystal Exteriors and Edgar (the owner) was
outstanding. They did our roof and siding, and a few other items that we
identified as necessary along the way. We learned about Crystal Exteriors from
the contractor we hired to redo our kitchen cabinets. We had a terrible
experience with a larger company in the area that had visited our home several
times to provide estimates and discuss the project. We also had another company
provide a quote, so we have several data points to compare against.
Meeting Edgar was a breath of fresh air. From day one, it
was clear that we hit the jackpot. It?s not easy to find someone in this
particular industry that does extremely high quality work, stays within budget
and schedule, and conducts business in a hands-on and completely transparent
way. This is Edgar. First, the price was the most competitive amongst the three
bids we received. As with most folks in this industry, he offered a percentage
discount on the total project to do the roof and siding together. Along the
way, we also had Edgar install screen doors on the front and back door, new
gutters, railings on the front porch and back stairwell, and reinforce the
footer of one side of our house that had been improperly installed. He also
just did (without asking) numerous small tasks along the way that we wouldn?t
have necessarily thought about needing (e.g., installing new locks on the
doors, house numbers, getting new keys made for us). He never charged us more
for these things either, but still did not go over the agreed budget. In fact,
when the price of the screen doors increased from the time he quoted us and the
time we started the project, he offered without hesitation to absorb the cost.
Throughout the project, Edgar was extremely hands-on. He emailed us regularly
to send pictures of the project from the day or to ask questions that needed a
decision and we met with him at least two times a week at our convenience and
nearly daily when the project was at its peak. He was endlessly kind,
    respectful, and honest.
The roof: The roof process went very quickly. His crew was
finished in roughly two days. It seemed relatively standard in terms of
procedure and quality of work. There was quite a lot of rotting or damaged wood
that they needed to fix and they re-built our skylight from scratch to no
longer leak. The only other thing worth noting is the added detail he built
into our dormers in the process. He added some wood along the edges of the
dormers to give them texture, and to allow for a more creative design once the
siding was put on. He made it into a nice triangle that provided more depth and
    a very classy/modern appearance.
The siding: The process for doing the siding couldn?t have more
different. The siding was done exclusively by one of his two siding people that
are on his team ? Peter. It took a little longer than most companies would to
do siding, but it was worth it. Peter approached the project like a meticulous
artist, and provided incredible attention to detail, but not at the expense of
completing the work, which took roughly 2 weeks in total. The advantage of
having this one person do it was that it produced a crisp, seamless, and consistent
look around the whole house. He was also able to identify a few challenges and
then solutions that might have been overlooked by a larger team. For example
Edgar and Peter found significant exposure/poor insulation under our addition
near the basement stairs. Although they didn?t plan for it originally, they
added additional material and closed it off in a very elegant way so that the
house wouldn?t lose heat from there in the winter.
Suffice it to say, we would work with Crystal Exteriors
again in a heartbeat. Edgar and his team are amazing.

    Omar's General Contracting
They do quality work at a reasonable price. We will use them again without a doubt! they are only able to answer their phone in person a couple times per day but they are extremely responsive to voice mails, which was fine with me. Good, solid team at Omar's!

    Handyman Connection of Rockville (MD)

I feel that the quality of the work was excellent.  The entire work was done by Song Lee, with only occasional help by a second worker.   Song Lee is excellent with detail work, and re-created some posts on the porch to look exactly like the original.

My main complaint with this company is that they want you to pay for the materials separately from the contract.   My contract with Handyman Connection was only for the labor for the work.   All materials had to be paid for directly by me.  It was unclear to me going in how much the materials would cost, although Song gave me a general idea.   There was also an issue with returning of materials and getting a refund.

In the end, I am very happy with the work that I had done.    I think the work was excellent.

Home Pro Roofing & Remodeling LLC
They called me within minutes of receiving my message and scheduled someone to come out the following week. Mr Dove arrived as scheduled and took care of the problem within minutes! I was more than impressed and will use Home Pro in the future for roofing and siding maintenance.
