    Power Home Remodeling
Professional and comprehensive explanation of the project and costs, and a quick turnaround time on getting the job done. Work was done in an hour and a half and I have zero complaints. I will be coming back for further home improvements in the future.

    Presidential Exteriors LLC
Presidential Exteriors recently did 3 replacement projects on my 1951 home: roof, windows & gutters. Every employee had a great work ethic, energy & positive attitude. I truly appreciate the jobs they did.

    Omar's General Contracting
Omar's responded to our initial inquiry within a day or two by text, and scheduled an appointment to visit very promptly. Omar spent an hour with us reviewing the work at our house. He promised to send an estimate shortly after. We followed up with text reminders and a phone call, but after two weeks had received absolutely no reply whatsoever. This is very poor communication. At the least a short note explaining why he could not, or did not want to, do the work would have been courteous. A text would have taken all of 5-10 seconds. We are disappointed because this business is in our community and we would have liked to support it.

    Unicorp Home Energy Services
The work done by the company was excellent. They were quick and efficient. The finished product looks great. My only issue was drip edge was not installed. When I asked about it they agreed to install it. My neighbor who is a building inspector said it is a requirement in the county so I'm unsure why it was not installed to begin with. Overall though I highly recommend the company. They were very easy to work with and it was obvious their main goal was to make sure we were happy with the finished product.

    Sino-American General Contracting
We were looking to add a bump out on to the back of our house. Sino American Contractors came in with a competitive bid and very professional introductory meeting. They were the clear choice after interviewing a half-dozen contractors. The addition idea was a 20 x 30 bump out, split into 2 rooms. The project was handled well throughout the whole process. Mason led his team efficiently and was very communicative the whole time. He was great at handling the county permit process. There was immense detail given to some tricky regrading of the backyard and he was very efficient when we had to adjust the blueprints due to unforeseen obstacles. They also completed the project on time ---a rarity in construction. From the initial meeting to the final coat of paint, Mason and the whole Sino American crew were very skilled and easy to work with. I would hire them again for our next remodel and easily recommend Sino with confidence.

    Willis Builders Inc
We thought Matt Willis was very diligent, responsive and easy to work with. He sent out Gio to lead the work and I was really impressed with him. We've worked with 3 other contractors in the past, one for an addition, one for a kitchen, and one for a bathroom. Gio was definitely the best and easiest to work with. Highly recommend.

    Presidential Exteriors LLC
I'm not saying that a project of this size is cheap. It is expensive to redo the sub-roof, the roof, guttering and full attic insulation, plus a few other small projects. Do I think I got my money's worth? Absolutely. Each team was competent, intelligent, sensitive to my needs (and panic attacks). Half way through, at the end of a long day (12 hours) after the team had left, the heavens opened. Within half an hour the team leader was back with a ladder and tarps and really distressed that some damp might get in the attic. He was far more worried than I was! I was kept fully informed of what was going on at all times. It was the most painless project I have ever undertaken, and the most beautifully carried out. If it turns out that there is a glitch (which I doubt) I have full confidence that some intelligent young man will appear on my doorstep in seconds. Oh, and it took three days. Now on to the solar panels...

    American Home Contractors Inc
Noticeable before/after. Marc was punctual, very knowledgeable, and clearly explained the work that he was going to perform as well as recommendations for the future. It all took ~two hours. Great value and would definitely hire again.

    Omar's General Contracting
Requested estimate and bid for a large renovation project. Had issues with scheduling initially. Then we met at the property to discuss. Blue prints were requested. Coordinated pick-up, and was again delayed in picking up. After, multiple follow-ups by email and phone, still have not heard back from anyone. No one answers the phone, it always goes to voicemail. Providing large prints of architectural plans cost money. They literally wasted both my time and money.

    AROCON Roofing & Construction
Roofers were to replace our roof and skylight but leave roof on a bay window alone since that was relatively new. They accidentally ripped off the bay window roof anyway and rather than replacing the whole thing, they left it half new and half old (two different colors). They left tons of nails around the house and on our deck which of course I stepped on twice!! The work above our porch was really sloppy which they did admit and fix. I was shocked they thought anyone would be ok with it though. Caulk wasn't put on in a straight line but slapped on and was goopy and dripping in a very visible area. Our one-week old deck was slightly damaged by ladders but easily fixable. It would have been nice for them to cover it or sweep it but it was the least of our problems. The worst thing was that stuff fell through skylight when they were replacing it and scratched our wall, dirtied the carpet and created a big mess. They took photos and said they'd fix it. We weren't upset and knew it was a mistake. When we mentioned it to the office, they knew nothing about it and the manager on the job said he didn't know what we were talking about and had no photos. This was a sub who did it but why is Aracon working with him? The owner appeared immature. He laughed at inappropriate times, challenged every issue saying, "You are one of those" and asked personal questions that were uncomfortable and unnecessary (then asking again because he was unable to grasp that it wasn't appropriate). The gutter guards we paid for were not installed (even after were told the job was complete). The wood they were supposed to fix and replace looked terrible in the areas we could see (so I assume there's a chance what we couldn't see didn't look so great either). Jason, one of the managers, was wonderful. He came out and fixed everything. I think he does the best with what he is given. The company does work with subs (though they try to downplay this and say they are regular subs). Sometimes I think the jobs are hit and miss depending on which crew you get. If Jason went somewhere else, I'd follow him because he just seems like he's going to make it right. The owner was unprofessional in our opinion and I didn't think he seemed too concerned with making sure things were done right. Seems a little too young and inexperienced to be in charge. I think the roof is OK now thanks to Jason. If it weren't for him, I'd give them an F.
