    Repairman (Godfrey?) showed up on time, efficiently fixed the problem, and suggested and carried out a fix to the door to keep the icing problem from recurring--a fix a repairman who worked on the same problem 4 years ago never suggested (and that guy charged a higher price as well).

    It went well. They were a smidge late, but I took an afternoon appointment, and with these kinds of things, earlier appointments running over isn't uncommon. They fixed my LG Dryer, which took a lot of work and were very helpful and courteous to work with.

    The tech was so nice!  He was on time, helpful, friendly, professional.  I think it is a family owned business, which is even better IMO.  Would definitely contact Wooten again -- in fact, I asked him for stickers with contact info, and now every one of our appliances has a sticker on it.

    The first appointment was a good start. Daryl called well within the arranged time to say he would arrive in 20 minutes. He was friendly and professional. The inner oven glass had cracked so I knew it was a replacement but was very relieved to hear it was just the glass and not the whole door. He tightened up the hinge on the door so it was a tighter fit.

    Daryl returned a week or so later, again calling in advance. He took off the door and placed it on a large quilted cover to protect the floor from any glass and insulating material that might come loose. Put in the replacement - making sure to clean it so any fingerprints or marks were wiped away!

    One of the lights did not work so he put in a new 40w bulb and fixed that issue too

    This was a good experience. They kept in touch regarding ordering the part and Daryl did a great job of doing the repair efficiently and with a smile. Wooten Appliance now has a customer who is very happy to recommend them

    They emailed me and said they would be here 11/25/14 and they did not show.  I called them to see why and they told me that they are no longer doing business with Angie's List and I should call and get my money back.

    We have been Michael & Sons customers for years, and have been generally pleased. While their customer service has always lacked, we?ve put up with this because of their good technicians who are always professional. But the bad customer service just exhibited has now outweighed the positive, and we?re flabbergasted by the lack of response. We scheduled an appointment to have a kitchen appliance checked. Couldn?t get an appointment until 5 days later, but we locked it in.  Were given an 8:00-10:00
    am window, but also told we?d be the first appointment of the day. I completely adjusted my work day to be at home for this appointment? both I and my husband run our own businesses, so are rarely home during the day. The morning of the
    appt, and literally 8 minutes before the scheduled time (at 7:52 am) I get a voice mail (on my cell phone # for some reason, even though that wasn?t the # I?d provided for contact purposes) from Francisco that the technician
    could not come out. That?s it -  the appt isn?t happening.  We were offered no apologies, no effort to send an alternate technician during that same confirmed window.  When I called back just a few minutes later, he said we could schedule for another day.  Again, no apologies, and very cavalier and rude when I asked why another technician wasn?t dispatched for the same time. This is a very large company?surely there were others available?   I contacted the company via their online feedback system to  express my frustration and have received no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. This demonstrated lack of care for the customer has convinced me that I need to take our family?s electrical and plumbing business elsewhere. Truly appalling.

    A-Nova Appliance Factory Authorized Service
    TheA-Nova techand quot;Haroldand quot; arrived on time for the appointment and upon a short inspection reached the conclusion that the secondary drainand quot; in the unit needed replacement - a $85 part. He suggested that they order one for us since they did not have one in stock. Given the urgency of the situation (with food spoiling), we called A-Nova the next day asking for a time frame for the part's arrival - to be told that they did not know when the part would be available and that their normal procedure was for them to first receive the part and then to call back to schedule a return visit by the technician. We were told it could up to 10 days!
    Given the failing fridge (with the upper storage compartment now also failing to cool properly) and the fact that A-Nova could not tell us when the part would arrive, we asked Viking for another recommendation. We decided to go with Wuerstlin's Appliance Service who promptly sent a tech out the next day. Turns out that as soon as the Wuerstin tech arrived he recognized the problem and attributed it to a defective and quot;thermostat terminatorand quot; - not the secondary drain. This was causing the freezer temperature sensor to work improperly. He had the part in his van (a $35 item) and quickly replaced it.
    How do we know the A-Nova tech misdiagnosed the problem? Well - it is 10 days later now and the fridge is working perfectly again both top and bottom.
    The next day, after the Wuerstlin tech's visit, we called A-Nova to cancel the order for the part. We spoke to a manager who was quick to point out that we would be responsible for a and quot;restocking feeand quot; - although she had no idea if the part had even left the factory - go figure. BTW- Their invoice to us (which included the price of the part) states nothing about a restocking fee either - no fine print - nor was this ever communicated to us verbally by the tech. Frankly we don't even know how much that would be.
    To top it off, my wife received a rude and unprofessional call from and quot;Haroldand quot; the A-Nova technician yesterday in which he went off ranting and raving in a voice mail to her about canceling the ordered part and his insistence that she was responsible for the restocking fee of this item. Not only was he unprofessional but the message was totally uncalled for given that we had previously spoken to the A-Nova and quot;managerand quot; about this . Given his misdiagnoses, unprofessional behavior, and our experience with A-Nova, I can only recommend staying away from these folks .
    Good for us we found a qualified tech the second time around. My advice - call another service company..

    Daryl Wooten was on-time, extremely knowledgeable and very polite. He did a major fix on our dryer a year and a half ago, and then a minor fix on our washer this week. Very happy repeat customer here. Things really don't last like they used to, so I am very happy to have Wooten Appliance to call on when things start breaking (this washer and dryer are only 7 years old!)
