    AN EASTRIDGE GARDEN
We needed plants and a tree that would do well in an area of our yard that is quite moist for a long time after rain. We were pleased with the information about plants and trees that would tolerate pooling of water for more than the normal time. The staff  in general are well versed with the types of greenery that will survive here in Centreville, MD. After our decision and purchase, an employee loaded the plants/tree into the back of our car. Thoughtful, helpful and more than willing to answer any question related to conservation planting.

    A-1 MULCH LLC
My first phone call with a man was very friendly and professional.  The second call, the lady, left me on hold.  On the third call, I told her that while another company I called was less expensive, I gave my business to this company because the first phone call was so friendly.  The lady apologized for the hold and took $2.00 off per yard.  I ordered and 4 yards of mulch which were delivered the same day.  The driver dumped the load where I requested and changed the location slightly in order to avoid the load landing on top of shrubs and plants.  The phone calls and driver were very professional. The mulch looks good and I hope to retain color.

    VILLAGE GREENS LANDSCAPE CTR
Debbie and John Rogers are knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of gardening and landscape services. The gardening staff are helpful and provide good customer service. Although I haven't purchased it yet, my neighbors have had Village Greens install sprinkler systems and have been very happy. From large to small projects, you can count on Village Greens to provide the service.

    LEON'S NURSERY INC
In October, at the Timonium Home Crafts Show, I bought a citrus tree from Leon's and was ASSURED it could be used as a house plant. I even called back a few days later to double check because the label only discusses planting it outside. Again, I was assured it was fine as a house plant. About 4-5 weeks ago, the leaves starting falling off. At first, it was a few here and there and I didn't think anything of it. Then, the leaves starting dropping at an alarming rate. When I called about my concern, I was advised to give it more water, add fertilizer and move it closer to a light source if I could. I did all three and for 2-3 days the leaf dropping slowed down. Last week, it started again and I was told to pick off the fruit. In the last two days, the leaves started to turn yellow, some mottled, some dried up, but most still looked green and healthy. Today, I shook the tree while I was adjusting a branch and it ended up with more leaves on the floor then left on the tree! When I called Leon's, the person I spoke to continued to insist this is an indoor plant. But, he added that it sounded like the plant was in shock, which can completely kill a plant. When I asked how could it be in shock, since I've had it since October, he told me that he doesn't work with indoor plants, but all he can tell me is that they sold me a healthy plant and "we're not Lowe's." So, beware of anything you buy from this nursery. In fact, DO NOT buy from Leon's, sounds like you should go to Lowe's!

    LARSON'S FARM & NURSERY
Unprofessional, dirty, talks to his customers and employees like they are dirt in front on customers and other people. Curses at everyone, and calls himself a good Christian who then walks over to the liquor store on his way home so his good Christian friends wont know he beats his kids and wife.
