    VKB Kitchen & Bath
At " VKB Kitchen and Bath" they are the best and I am very satisfied with their work!! I had to get my kitchen remodeled and from day 1, Calvin helped me map out how to make it more efficient by reorganizing appliances and cabinets. I was also impressed with the professionalism and customer service at the beginning and leading up to completion. Ferhat informed me of the timeframe for completion in advance and 2 weeks later I have a stunning new kitchen. I recommend them to all my friends since they can see for themselves the good job they did. Without a doubt, I will use their services again as I need more work in my house.

    Bright Colors Painting
Nelson Portillo's Bright Colors Painting is the best company I ever dealt with. They are dependable, friendly, trustworthy, and extremely professional. The price and the work were both excellent. I would rate them 100 on a 100 point scale.

    Brothers Services Company
What I don't like about the company is that they are overpriced. What I do like about the company is what ever price they do quote, they don't come back and nickel and dime you and ask for more because there was a problem. Once they do a job, they don't leave if there is a problem they come back and fix it. We have had them come back four times since November 21st to fix a problem that we had. Overpriced, but very good follow up and  they stand behind their work 110%.

    Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing, Inc
Everything was top-notch. Kieth was great, and had made a couple other recent visits as I get my house ready to sell. The quality and price are great, and the estimates are right on. He did his best to organize the multiple tasks to minimize his downtime (and the bill). I highly recommend Ehrhardt Brothers, and wouldn't think of using anyone else in the future.

    United Granite Countertops
Beautiful granite at a great price! Tim was exceptional to work with, and I later referred a friend to them and he did a great job with her too. The installers were 3 hours late, but stayed late to finish. Price of granite and install was very competitive, cheaper than the others I had looked at, and the quality of the install was great. The installers didn't bring protective blankets to put down on the floor, but I called and the company sent some out. I didn't have them reinstall the plumbing because it was a $350 add on, and I had prior plumbing experience, so I saved money by doing it myself, but that may not work for everyone.

Response from UHR has always been a bit slow, the actual process was not explained as we were going through it which made things a bit confusing at times. The guys that did the work was really polite and listened to what we wanted. The contractor for UHR/owner of the guys that did the actual work were a bit rude, didn't want to hear how we wanted things, did not give actual dimensions of things needed and complained about the materials we purchased. The company owner and the contractor did not communicate well at all. The UHR owner provided us a list of material to purchased to include the quantity and dimensions which we had ready before the contractor arrived however the contractor had an issue with some of the items that was purchased which came from the list from the UHR owner. Also they purchased items that we already had which was a bit annoying as well. Only regret was not overseeing every single detail as they were working.
The 2nd bathroom turned out as expected. The tiles had lines on it and were to be laid diagonally and had to ensure the tiles were lined up in the same direction. Not sure how they missed this... The only think unfinished here is the door transition which was never fixed in place thus it movable.
The master bedroom painting turned out well, there were a couple of missed spots that were fixed later.
The maser bathroom was the bulk of the major work. The vanity dimensions given was 60in which we got however they had to cut the wall a little and there is STILL a whole on the side of the vanity that we have complained about and the contractor came out to look at it in January 2015 but never returned to fix it. Inside the vanity cabinet where the pipes go through the wall it was left bare and when they returned in Jan simply put some covers over it but was not secured so it is very movable.
The exhaust fan we initially purchased was too big but never received good dimensions of one to purchase thus the one installed is a bit small for the whole and slid out at one time and my husband pushed it in so not sure about this.
The floor tiles were not installed smoothly, there are raised areas on the floors but because of the pattern you don't really see but can feel it when you walk on it.
The shower turned out really nice but not without complaints because of the 12x12 stone that had to be cut and fixed in place. Because of the varying colors of stone, they put the same color next to each other rather than interchange the colors which was what we should have been looking at while they were putting it in.
Replaced a double door into a single door which was really nice, can actually lock the bathroom now. Also the recessed lighting was a good idea by the contractor during the work which works well now too.
Overall the bathroom looks nice but still need some fixes especially the whole in the wall.

    THAT KITCHEN PLACE
This was the largest and most involved project that we have ever done. We are so pleased with the outcome and could not have been happier with our decision to work with That Kitchen Place (TKP) on our renovation. Kate Smith, our Designer/Sales person was excellent. We had a great feeling about her from the moment we met her when she came out to do the initial discussion about our project. The manner in which she does business coupled with a fair price is the reason we selected TKP. She is honest, mature and a very good communicator. Any issues/concerns were dealt with promptly and completely. The design phase for our new kitchen was difficult at best and she stuck with it until we came up with a design and price that would please us. I was looking for a particular "look/feeling" in my new kitchen. Together, we hit the mark completely.
The majority of the construction and demo was performed by Jim and his crew. I honestly felt so lucky thatJim was assigned to our project. Very shortly after our initial meet and greet with the crew, I could tell that Jim just "got me". Everyone has those little things that are more important than others and and those things that bug them. He picked up on this immediately and just eliminated anything that would have been an issue. He was very easy to talk to, discuss ideas withor just say "I don't like that" to. He was very busy but always took the time when I needed it to explain or discuss items. What was most important though is that you can tell that he haspride in his work and honestly wanted us to love our kitchen. I became so attached to him that it was sad when he was finished and had to move on to the next kitchen.
Joe and Kelsey (??hope I got that right) the electricians worked wonders. They did their best to leave as much of our existing ceilings as possible undisturbed.
At the start of our renovation, I was given a time line of when things should be taking place. Shockingly, everyone was pretty much right on schedule. Had we not had an issuewith the delivery schedule of part of our flooring, I believe they would have completed everthing right on time. Although TKP was not at fault for the flooring delay, they needed to figure out how we were going to continue with the set back. They put their heads together and came up with an alternate schedule. Rick, the flooring person even came up with a solution to protect the flooring that was installed during the delay. Again, they all want the customer to be happy.
My kitchen is just beautiful! If any issues arisein the future, Iknow they will stand behind their work. Debhas assembled a great team. Do yourself a favor and let TKP take care ofyour kitchen renovation.

    Renew Home Improvements
The work came out great. The only issue was that it took 7 weeks to do all the work. This was because he was fitting me in between other jobs in order to give me a great price. The work included a new sink, toilet mirror, lights and towel racks in the half bath, a new sink, toilet, mirror, light, towel racks, tub and tiling in the hall bath and all the same in the master bath except for glass shower doors and a new shower with tiling. He filled in all the holes from the old fixtures and I painted.

    PowerHouse Home Improvement
I bought the Big Deal and had him out to look over the job. I've called several times to get the estimate I was promised. I was told several times that he would get back with me. I received phone calls back saying that he'll get it to me in the next day or two, or in a few hours, but I still haven't received anything.
