It was absolutely awful. I've been a patient here since June 13 due to a car accident. My attorney, Cohen & Cohen in Washington, DC, referred me there due to an onset of chronic neck and back pain incurred from the accident on June 10. Firstly, I saw Dr. Salter who was the most disconnected clinician I'd ever encountered. But due to the fact I was in so much pain, I stuck through it - plus, I just didn't have time to go through the process of complaining to my lawyer and finding another doctor. My appointments would last 5 minutes at best (seriously watched the clock) and the best resolve from each of them were his prescripts for physical therapy, which were a decent remedy...albeit a temporary one. I will say the PT staff there, including the front desk administrator (forgot his name) are caring and professional. Ephraim was my PT expert and he is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond despite the rest of the practice's terrible healthcare practices. I watched other patients being treated as herd of cattle too - where the physician seeing them just did enough to get them in & out, only to write a prescript for PT then back in 3 weeks for another repeat evaluation. They don't listen intently when you try to tell them you're in pain. They get abrasive and disturbed when you ask a question about what to do to stop it. It's like you don't matter and they don't want to waste time on you. they'd just rather send you to PT and get you out of their exam room as quickly as possible. On a more important note, my last visit there was 11/17 when I overheard Dr. Myer (2nd doctor I requested) cursing at his female staff member about putting a patient in the care room because "he didn't have time to waste on them - now has to go see the idiot". Although he used other horrible words. He then entered my exam room and yelled "take off your coat if you wanna be seen!" I was appalled and told him that I would not take off my coat and left abruptly. I told the front desk staff what I'd overheard and how he spoke to me right after. I wrote a letter to my attorney's office and followed up with a phone call. I want folks to be aware of this office. It is poorly operated and as a patient, we have rights and choices, especially to be treated fairly and with the most attentive care. I'm in the healthcare industry and I could not believe how incredibly unprofessional and insignificant the clinicians here behaved. After one appointment with Dr. Salter, I had questions I had written for him because I was so concerned about my health. I told him that PT was helping but only temporarily. He rushed my appointment, didn't address my questions at all - and then afterward I saw him going to PT to be treated. And then rushed to his car to go home when he had to "wait" a bit for the patients before him. If you're suffering with chronic pain, please research other physicians in the area who can give you the attentive care you need. With so many caring, renowned, and attentive clinicians who love what they do, you're sure to find someone worthy of your time who can address and care enough to get you better.

    Kaiser Cardiology
It's a newly renovated facility. Kaiser Cardiology have a lot of services right there, lots of good parking, open twenty four hours a day and they have pretty good doctors. For people who live in the area, it's really convenient. The general physician is great.

    Mercy Orthopedic/Joint Replacem
Had problems for years. Again, in the past a podiatrist tried surgery and it lead to problems. Rather than fix the problem with more surgery again, they purposely tried to avoid surgery first and suggested trying a special graphite plate and it made tremendous and wonderful difference. Also, it was cheaper and more effective than surgery which is basically irreversible - fusion of two bones, and could possibly (maybe likely) lead again to more pressure on the other parts of the foot.

the rehab sessions were intense and I liked the physical therapists. I feel like I got back about 85% use of the left Achilles which was good for me as I did not want the complications of surgery.
