AWent well; initially had parts for 1/2 snow blowers made a call picked up part locally and repaired both. Had problems with one of the blowers called within 30 day warranty. Eventually got them to come out and replace parts on the second one that was still experiencing problems all covered by warranty.

AMy $279 edger barely worked. Even when it worked the engine would sputter. I was about to throw it out but decided to give Blunard's a try. For $79 they completely flushed the system, replaced the gas kit, spark plug, etc. It runs like a brand new machine. Saved me $200 over buying a new one. I will definitely return for all power tool needs..

BI would pay him with cash and would get a receipt and he would throw it away. He would then tell me I did not pay him. On one instance, his assistant told him I had paid him. He ended up not doing the work right like he was doing before. He was supposed to do a final cut for the year and did not come out to do it.I left messages on his voicemail and he would not return my calls. I am not using him anymore. He owes me one more cut that I have paid for.

BThrough the whole estimating and scheduling process, I had to take all the initiative. But at least he was responsive, which the other contractors weren't. Behnke's used to say, "Dig a $20 hole for a $10 plant," wider rather than deeper. He didn't really do that, but he did loosen the soil. While loosening roots of a nearby tree, they cut our FIOS cable, so we had no internet for a day. I blame both myself and him for not anticipating that possibility. In the end, it looked great, and the price was right.

AMaster MechanicsArt made room for me the same day I called and came out to do the work on-site. He quickly released and re-seated a jammed drive belt. When I asked him to come back to install a new belt when it arrived (current one was partially burned down), he suggested that I save my money as it's a pretty complicated/expensive job and the current one could easily last for a few seasons. ALong's Small Engine RepairIt went fantastic. I stopped in on Saturday, and he looked at my saws right away. He was able to get one working while I waited, due to me not having the correct choke settings. The 2nd didn't start properly, so he did a quick compression test. Ultimately the saw wasn't worth repairing. He did all this in 15 minutes, where other shops would have taken over 3 weeks just to LOOK at them. The price couldn't be beat either.- Adam H.

AFreestate Mower RepairIt went GREAT! I called Steven and arranged for an appointment. Within two days he came to the house and discovered the problem, a broken cable. He also looked at a second mower and we determined that due to its age, we would not fix it. A week later the cable was in and he came back to the house and installed it. He also scrapped the grass from under the mower deck, changed the oil and the spark plug, cleaned the foam air cleaner and sharpened the blade ... all within 30 minutes. He saved me the time and effort of lifting the mower into my car trunk and running up to the shop and back home again. His work was first rate, done right the fist time and his bill was fair.
