    Peaco Appliance Service
It went well. Mr. Pius arrived and checked out the cause of the problem. He found the problem, explained to me what was needed, and ordered a replacement part. When the part arrived, he returned and installed it. I would like to thank Pius for the use of a loaner microwave during this time.

    Thompson Appliance Repair LLC
I would like to say this young man came to my home until the job was done right. My dryer was very hard to trouble shoot, so he had to come to my house a couple of times and replace different parts. I did not have to wait long for him to return for the problem. I am satisfied with the final results.

    Appliance Repair 24
Faued was awesome! A true professional! Came to the house without hesitation during the first snow storm of the year. Diagnosed the problem within minutes, ordered the part and came back the next day to complete the work. Even suggested certain things I could do to prolong the fridge. Both days not only called in advanced but showed up early and got the job done with ease. He is definitely someone to hire. I would definitely hire him and Appliance Repair 24 again!

    Choice Home Warranty
The technician called before coming and he was right on time. He verified the problem and told me something was broken and he had to repair it. I did laundry that same day and all went well. Thanks again for your services.

    Wooten Appliance
I got a response to schedule appt w/in 24 hours and date of service within 72 hours. This met with my satisfaction. Prior to service call, which was estimated at approximately $135 (instead of $155), Darryl from Wooten appliance contacted me. He inquired about the problem and discussed investigating the cost of a replacement part. In the meantime, he suggested I plug and unplug the oven or use the circuit breaker to reset. He held the line while I performed these functions and the digital panel returned to normal. Before ending call he made sure I had his phone number in case I had a recurring issue. Although I had no actual hands on service provided, this response gave me assurance that if I had an issue with a large appliance in the future I would contact this company. Thanks Darryl!

    Sears Appliance Repair
They're good, I'd give them a high grade. On price, we have a master warranty we just pay a flat fee every so many years and everything covers. We've always had good luck with Kenmore brand. I think it's been 50 years now we've been buying from sears. It was good. They've been real responsive, they call right back I don't know its whether we have the master warranty we always get right through and they set it up right away. They have been punctual. They've always been very professional.

    Mr. Appliance of Laurel MD
I really appreciated that Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez explained things to me as he was figuring out why the freezer was working but the fridge was not cooling. He got the fridge working but said that the problem would occur again in a few days if certain parts were not replaced. He came back a couple days later with the new parts and everything is now working.I really appreciated Eduardo's positive attitude and the attitude of the folks at Mr. Appliance. It was a pleasure to work with this company.

He was out several times with it, and didn't charge us at all. It wasn't nothing he could do. We ended up replacing the refrigerator, which was one of his suggestion. He has been very fair with the price with us.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Sears service was HORRIBLE! Call one number to have a repair visit scheduled. But it's assigned to third party contractor to actually perform the scheduled repair visit. Had to endure 2-3 instances when repairperson never even showed or called! I would call to check on whereabouts of the scheduled repairperson because the time window they were supposed to arrive was expiring -- no one can answer the question. No one knows where the repairperson is or why they are a no show. I was told to call some other number because "customer service" cannot help. Just a lot of finger-pointing in different directions and no sense of accountability or service. In one instance the repairperson showed up more than 4 hours outside the scheduled service window -- basically well after dinner hour. Then he was apologizing about being late and having insufficient gasoline in his truck and he asked to borrow money from me - promised to come back the next day because it was his fault he was late and totally unprepared to provide service. Of course, that was a scam too. I reported all of this to Sears customer service and was told that the repair people are not their employees and there is nothing they can do but reschedule the appointment. By that time, I was finished with Sears!! I cancelled Sears' bogus service contract because it's useless if you cannot receive the repair services. I would NEVER buy from Sears and will NEVER let their repair people near my home again.

    Wooten Appliance
I did not have a good experience with Wooten Appliance. The automatic defrost on our refrigerator wasn't working, so frost was building up in the freezer and preventing cold air from reaching the refrigerator. I had done a bunch of diagnostic testing myself, and narrowed the problem down to one of two parts. When I booked a service appointment with Wooten using the online form, I left detailed notes about what I'd figured out so far, in hopes that they would be able to use the notes to diagnose the problem and bring the correct part with them. I also called ahead, explained the situation, and verified that the technician would review the notes before they came out. When the technician arrived, I asked whether he'd seen the notes, and he said no, the dispatcher never gave them to him. When I showed him the notes, he immediately said "it's the control board, we'll have to order it," and never even looked at the fridge. In other words, I was exactly right that they could have diagnosed the problem from my notes and could have ordered the part ahead of time, but they couldn't get it together to make sure the technician saw the notes even when I specifically requested it. To make matters worse, I had taken the freezer apart (removed all of the food and the bins, taken off the back panel, etc.) so he could get right to work when he arrived. After he told me he didn't need to look at it and was preparing to leave, I asked for his help in putting things back together. He said their policy was not to put anything back together that the customer had disassembled, because they didn't want to get blamed for things the customer screwed up. I suppose that's a reasonable concern, but I guess I'd rather work with a company that values being helpful to customers even when there's a slight liability risk. So to sum up so far: Wooten Appliance sent a repair technician to my house, and during that visit, the technician did absolutely no work whatsoever except to look at some notes that I had requested he look at before making the visit. For this I was charged $139. When I called the office to let them know what had happened, the woman I spoke to was apologetic and assured me that she'd provided the notes to the technician. I don't know who's really to blame, but something is clearly dysfunctional about their system. After they quoted me a price for replacing the control board (parts & labor), I looked online and found the part for $100 cheaper than the price they'd given me. I ended up ordering the part and, since Wooten couldn't come out for several more days, I ended up replacing it myself. Everyone I interacted with at Wooten was courteous and respectful at all times, but in terms of providing competent service, they seem to have a long way to go.
