  • Repairman was scheduled to come between 10-12 originally. I kept calling the sears hotline number every hour or so and it would say a little later and later. Repairman eventually showed up at 3:30. My entire day was ruined because I never received an accurate time frame

  • They had to come out like 4 different times because the first time made the problem worst. They kept coming out to try to fix it and they never could. So then I’m like I want my money back. That was a big fiasco. All the visits were free because they were coming to fix it.  The pricing was competitive.

  • Regarding the washing machine, the repairman told my husband how he (my husband) could fix our washing machine himself (if he was so inclined) for cheaper the price. We needed the top portion of the agitator. This repair service was worth their price ($75-included the diagnostics and the first 30 minutes of repair. We did order new agitator and my husband, who likes to tinker with things, was able to fix our washing machine based on what Appliance Repair Service told him. Additionally, our dryer was not drying our laundry. The repairman determined that the dryer itself was fine. The vent hole was clogged from the outside and needed to be cleaned out. We happily cleaned the vent out and our dryer is now drying as it should. Before calling Appliance Repair we were considering purchasing a new washing machine and dryer, but not anymore. Our problems have been fixed and we are very happy. If my husband could not fix the issues, we were definitely calling back Appliance Repair Service. We would definitely use Appliance Repair Service, Inc. again. We will not call anyone else to fix our large appliances.

  • I had been telling my husband all week the dishwasher was broken. He finally called a repair service. Jaime told my husband that the soap we used caused a clog in a hose and to run a bottle of white vinegar through the wash. We did that twice and it was fixed and works better now than it did when we bought it new. My husband was sure we needed a new machine and did not want to pay someone to come look at it and say it would cost as much as a new one to fix. I am happy to keep the old machine and the money for the repairs in our pockets.



    The repair person answered out call quickly, set up an appointment quickly, but then also diagnosed the issue on the phone and gave the solution. He could have came here pulled the clogged hose off, replaced it and charged us a couple hundred dollars, but instead he gained a new customer for life. I will call him from now one when I have an appliance issue.



    I am very happy not to be hand washing dishes.

  • I called for service on a Monday morning 1/9/13 for my GE dryer. The rep told me they were hand writing tickets as their system was down, scheduled my service call for January 16 and said I would get an email to confirm. On Thursday 1/12/13 I decided to purchase a new dryer from Lowe's to be delivered on Monday morning 1/16/13. On friday 1/13/13 no email had arrived so i called sears back to cancel the service call. The rep I got this time said no service call was ever scheduled. Lesson learned. Don't schedule a service call with sears when their system is down

  • I had called multiple repair companies in the area and they all either didn't service my brand of washing machine (Fisher & Paykel) or they charged ridiculous amounts (one quoted me $130 just to come to the house!!).  Mr. Williams was available just two days after I called, which was much sooner than other anyone else.  He quoted me $65 for the service visit and after determining the problem he would discuss with me any needed repairs at that time.  I felt that was perfectly reasonable.
    He arrived on time, and set to work immediately.  The problem was simply a bad water pump and the two of us discussed that before he started.  He just happened to have the very pump the machine needed on his truck so there was no delay in waiting for ordered parts, thankfully.  The repair itself went quickly, and he had the machine go through a cycle to make sure the pump worked and that there were no additional problems.  It really was as simple as the bad pump, so it was a relatively quick fix.  He was there for only 90 minutes, and that includes the time I spent talking with him before he started work, and after.
    The laundry room was as clean when he left as when he started.  He was quiet and unobtrusive.  My husband was at work during this time but called and spoke with him at length on the phone and Mr. Williams was happy to talk with him.  Overall, he was respectful, professional, and just plain nice.  I was very comfortable having him in the house.  But for the fixed machine you would never have known he was there.  He is my permanent washing machine repairman from now on.

  • Hyssong Appliance Center saved me a lot of money because I avoided having to pay an appliance service vendor to come and diagnose a problem they wouldn't be able to fix. I really appreciate their honesty, generosity, professionalism and expertise. They are clearly in business to provide excellent customer service, even when they are not being paid.

  • They are well stocked; they have all the appliances in stock that I have gone there looking for and there is nothing that they can't get within a day for me, so there availability is great. They deliver the goods within a day or two. They are very punctual and they come when they say they are going to be here. Their service people are very polite and very professional. If I have an old appliance to be hauled, then they take care of it and if I need any service, they service what they sell.

  • Factory repair scheduled on a 3 month old range.  A&E never informed us that a call would be required before they could come to repair and so they called my contact number and when I didn't answer at work, they didn't come and told me to call to reschedule. Meanwhile someone else had taken the day off to be home waiting for them. No one actually ever showed. Had I been told they needed to verify by phone, they would have had the correct number to call. I called them back 9 minutes after the driver called and was told it was already too late and I needed to reschedule. I am now waiting another week without a range and buying another week of take-out food.  Their customer service was rude and their communications skills are lacking to say the least.  I have already told the appliance store that if they use A&E for all their repairs, I will buy future appliances elsewhere.

  • I contacted the company by phone after calling two others. The women on the phone was more forthright about the cost of a service call and the cost seemed more reasonable than the others. I was told the technician would arrive between 1-5pm and he arrived at 3:00pm. My machine would not final spin. He opened it up and a belt fell off in his hand. He replaced the belt. The machine did spin; however, a noise was detected by both of us. He said that the motor was clearly "slipping" and would not last very long. He gave me some advice on what washers would be a best buy. He even told me of a place nearby that sells unclaimed freight appliances that has great deals. He was very helpful and personable. Would recommend!
