Howard Schultheiss has come to my father's house twice since the outbreak of Covid-19. The first time he came I was not there and Mr. Schultheiss, I found out, had not worn a mask throughout his visit with my dad. I second time he came out to the house he wasn't wearing a mask either, so I asked him to put one on. Mr. Shultheiss was argumentative about wearing the mask and said he never wore one doing any home visits. He finally became so mad about having to wear the mask he said he "I couldn't work like this." And he stormed out of our house and left without saying anything else. There are 500 new cases of the Covid-19 in Maryland daily. For a home health care worker who visits multiple patients a day, to wear no PPE and put elderly patients in danger of cross-contamination of the Coronavirus is unconscionable. Mr. Schultheiss shows such a profound level of negligence it borders on Criminal. His chief concern as a health practitioner should be his own safety than the safety of those who's homes he enters; Mr. Schltheiss seems to be ignorant of this basic hygiene knowledge. I understand Mr. Schltheiss has a very good rating as a health care professional and if this were pre-COVID day's I may be giving him a good ratting also, but the world has changed so much in a few short months and anyone who would knowingly ignore the facts and puts others at risk should have his/her medical license revoked.

Everything has gone okay so far. The orthotic has been helping him with the pain, he's happy with the inserts. We have prescription grade orthotic inserts.

    Myerson, Mark
The surgery was superb; both feet were done at the same time, but I went right home with special boots, and I was back on my feet in 2 days. NO pain now. Insurance paid for everything.

    Myerson, Dr. Mark S.
I was in a very serious auto accident about 20 years ago, and I have had 6 surgeries on my foot since. Dr. Myerson is probably the guru in the world of foot and ankle. He is very kind and communicates very well telling me everything that is going to happen and what would happen if I didn’t follow through. He always keeps me reminded. I have been able to walk again, and I am in very caring hands. He mentors other residents including people from the military. He is well educated and very experienced. The office environment is excellent. The staff is very friendly.

    Myerson, Dr. Mark S.
He is the Director of the Institute for foot and ankle and that is all he does. He is considered, if no the best, but the best of two surgeons in the country. He did foot surgery for me. He did a fusion of some bones in my foot. I went to him after another doctor had completely screwed up. My surgery was a success. I would recommend him for anyone needing foot and ankle help. He is not easy to get an appointment with if you are a new patient.

I visited Dr. Lew Schon at the recommendation of my Internist and a friend who was a general orthopedic surgeon. They both said that if Dr. Schon can't fix it, nobody in Baltimore can do a better job. Subsequent to my surgery and during my healing, many other physician friends have said the same thing. And from my experience with Dr. Schon, all of them are absolutely correct. Although I am still healing after nearly three months, I am well on the mend. I am walking on my left foot without assistance. I have learned to plan on a long wait to see him in his office for follow-up visits. At first this was annoying; however, I have learned that he is giving real care, or as he says "love", to his patients, and so I have learned to wait my turn for his "love." He is very caring and he explains my condition and care to my spouse and me well. After all, he is a teacher as well as a surgeon. Frequently, other physicians from all over the country on fellowship training with Dr. Schon are present in the exam room assisting and learning. I found this interaction very comforting. For serious foot and ankle surgery, in my mind, there is none better than Dr. Lew Schon!

    Baek, Dr. David
I started from scratch with Dr Baek. He was much better. He said taping the two toes together isn't going to do a thing to stop it. He gave me a kind of medication to numb it, but it didn't work. The next day it was just as painful. Unfortunately he said that I had to put up with the pain. He told me what kind of shoes I should be wearing and what I should not be wearing. He also told me that if I wanted to, he would do a surgery for me but then I didn't need it because I got better. I would use his services again in the future.

    Jeng, Dr. Clifford L.
I was referred to Dr Jeng to evaluate Hallus Rigidus in my great toe. essentially I had arthritis and a bone spur had grown over the joint to protect it and then a tiny piece had broken off. I commend Dr Jeng for trying non surgical methods first. Some surgeons only suggest surgery but he was realistic about the recovery time and the fact that success was not a guarantee since there did not appear to be cartilage in the joint. Last July I finally took the plunge with great trepidation. His staff answered myriad questions pre and post surgery and he even came to the phone when I had one last question before the surgery itself. Yes it hurt as much as he said it would and yes I still have to do exercises and yes in humid conditions it feels a little funky but it has not been a full year. BUT I am back walking fast for exercise. Dr Jeng never minimized the pain and long term recovery and I appreciate that. Nor could he promise success. It was my call. But the pain pre surgery was unbearable and I had exhausted alternatives. I did my post op exercises faithfully and do have full range of motion in my toe. So. Whatever residual pain I have in humid conditions lessens by the week and that to me spells success.

    Terry, Dr. Kevin B
He is wonderful. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. He was recommended by my daughter, who is a school nurse. She has direct contact with him through some patients of hers. He was very available and responsive.
