Mark L. did a great job repairing my front steps. He got back to me right away and scheduled a time to examine the steps and give me an estimate. I had had them repaired by other masons twice before only to have the bricks start coming loose within two years. Mark was able to diagnose the source of the problem and come up with a detailed proposal and estimate within 24 hours. I had been waiting for weeks for two other masons to provide me with their estimates which were actually a bit higher than the one Mark provided. He got on the job right away and removed all the old brick work and the underlying cement that had deteriorated so badly. Then he took careful measurements, constructed forms, and formed new concrete to provide me with a level and even foundation. Next he went to a quarry and selected the best blue stone he could find and sliced five big slabs to go on top of the repaired foundation. It was such a simple and elegant solution and I've already gotten a lot of compliments from my neighbors about the new look. I found Mark to be trustworthy, reliable, helpful and friendly -- and also reasonable in terms of cost. He was also prompt and did what he said he would do when he said he would do it -- how often does that happen these days?

We received a quote from Rich about the leak from our basement areaway. He was punctual and professional, and he explained everything they would need to do to fix the problem. Our job involved jackhammering out concrete to install a new areaway drain to the sump pump pit, digging a bigger sump pit, and installing a larger pump so it would do a better job draining water away from our home. On the day of service, StopLeak's guys were professional and completed the job on time in just a day. They reviewed everything they had done in detail afterwards and left a clean work area. They were careful about the tile they had to remove and did everything they could to keep it intact. We are very pleased with the level of service and professionalism that StopLeak provided. We have had heavy rain since the job was completed and so far, no further leaking in our basement.

Budget did a great job with their team coming out for 3 consecutive days to do the work. They all were very professional and included me in the steps of their progress. From start to to finish and even setting up and explaining financing options Budget was very informative and helpful. Great price for work done compared to other estimates I had. Very satisfied with results and the look of their finished job. They even removed my old concrete sink and installed a newer one I had purchased. Would highly recommend Steve and his team!!

We have had water issues since moving into the house two years ago, and finally consulted All Aspects about what could possibly be wrong with the current system. We already had a sump system and the house had just been flipped, but every time there was a significant rain, the carpet would be wet. Also, the basement was just moist all the time in general. Robert Ellis came out to do the estimate and was very thorough. He first let me go around the basement and outside the house explaining where I thought any problems were and history of the water. Before even contacting All Aspects, I googled basement/foundation waterproofing and thought a consultant would suggest digging down and "sealing" the foundation from the outside. However, Robert was prepared with a lot of informational videos and pictures to explain that the issue was simply the hydrostatic pressure and suggested a new sump system. He gave me a few cost options which covered portions of the basement or the whole thing. I'm glad we decided to go with the whole basement for peace of mind. The lead technician informed me that once they started digging, there was a lot of water around the entire interior perimeter of my basement and that the previous job had been done incorrectly. The flipper who installed the old (non-working) system had laid the drain pipe but just covered it with dirt instead of the cloth and gravel you're supposed to. The concrete is still curing now and we haven't had any heavy rains, but I'm confident that the new system will work as expected. When the crew got to my house, they did their best to contain the dust/debris from the job. My basement stairs are open to my main floor, so they put up plastic to the ceiling and installed zippers so I could get from one area of my main floor to the other. They also asked me if I was planning on keeping the carpet in the basement so they could cover it up appropriately if I wanted. In summary, All Aspects went above and beyond, specifically: -Coming out to install my new sump pump early when my old one "conveniently" failed before the new installation -Staying at my house for about 3 hours TWICE during the initial consult and before signing the service contract. -Robert Ellis stayed in contact during the installation and answered questions I had about my sump drain pipe. -Creating a custom hole/pipe route to my new sump pit through the newly poured concrete for my HVAC drain pipe -Installed new sump pump battery backup system for no extra charge -Giving a fair price for the work

The actual job went well. The company showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. There was one "issue" with one of the workers who needed to use my bathroom and left it "in disarray". I understand things happen but I would have appreciated more professional and courteous treatment. That notwithstanding, the actual work was done well. All of the employees worked well. I almost didn't know they were there.

company requested photos. Photos sent. He called back and said that he doesn't patch concrete porches. Normally, he removed the damaged porch and rebuild which cost about $3000. No further communication received.

The owner came out, looked at my property and listened to my vision. Based on what I wanted, he gave advice on how the project could be slightly modified and still meet my needs. His staff was very professional and they did an awesome job. It was a great value for the price, and I've already recommended them to friends and family.

Our project started about 3 years ago.  I contacted over 20 contractors many of whom came out to the house to see the project.  I had plans and budgets that evolved over time in speaking to banks and real estate agents.  Many of the contractors that came out I never heard from again even though they said they would get me a proposal.  The ones that did get back to me all wanted to start with getting plans made that would run me up to $3500 and would add a month to the project.  Additionally, the ones that got me some estimates were clearly over priced.  I felt as if I was being charged to put in a brand new kitchen, not a foundation, walls and a roof.
I was coming to an end of my search and was speaking to a contractor.  He said my project was too small for him, which I appreciated because he was very upfront about that.  He did recommend that I call Ralph.  He said Ralph did great  work and if anyone could do it for my budget he could.  I called Ralph and I sent him the details of what I was looking for.  He was pretty sure he could do it, so he came out for a look.  I don't think there were any surprises for him when he arrived.  While he was on site he told me that he could get a permit for the work the next day.  I was floored....  What???  Ralph told me that because of the size he would be able to get a permit for the work without any more drawings that what I had done.  He was the first one that had told me that.  Anyway, left and with in 24 hours I had his proposal, right in line with where he indicated it would be and right in our budget.  My wife and I were finally getting our addition.
Ralph was great to work with.  It took us a little bit of time to finalize details.  But he asked questions that lead to us asking questions.  And based on his answers we finalized what we wanted.  Ralph was in constant communication and would provide updates as to the timelines, who was coming to the house and when.  If he had questions he would ask.  And if there was a potential delay due to a delivery or possible snow he would let me know.
We couldn't believe how fast the build went.  Its a credit to Ralph and Wayne and the subs that they use.  Our neighbors were also impressed with how fast the project went as there are several projects in the neighborhood that have stalled out.  We and my wife are thrilled with the work and enjoyed working with both Ralph and Wayne.  We would definitely have them back and are already starting to think about our next project.
And I'll add one more thing that really stuck out.  We were waiting for our final inspection.  I was outside with my son and he was digging in the dirt around the construction.  i found a couple pieces of metal lathe from the stucco work.  I picked them up and left them in a little pile to get later on.  I got distracted and ended up leaving them.  Ralph stopped by real quick to get something and then headed out.  Then it was a few hours later and we saw the concrete sub in the driveway for a few minutes and then left.  The next time I was outside, the little bit of metal was gone.  I don't know who took it and when.  It wasn't a big deal to me at all that I found it.  But it was a huge that they saw it and came back to get it cleaned up.

Paul worked with my scheduled, he started the job on Saturday,Paul andhis crew came on time, demolish the frontporch and steps, framed and stamped the concrete, day two they removed forms and clean, day three its like a brand new home everything looked so spectacular, my neighbors where stopping by taking pictures and commenting how great it all looks, the stamped design was the icing on the cake.
I would hire Maryland Curbscape again and will recommend to my friends and neighbors..all they have to do is look at the results.
