  • He was like another part of her world she had in-cooperated him into the family he was part of the pack, she loved him and he knew her well.

They are very consider about the animal first and they are very fare with pricing and their extremely kind the whole staff very very kind, they are obviously crazed about pets.

  • Most terrible experience with a vet we have ever had. The staff and Dr are constantly trying to upsell customers and push unnecessary procedures and tests. Prices for routine offices visits are never consistent and bills for service are always a shock!
On one visit we brought our Yorkie in for a lump on the side of his neck. We were charged $60 for a 5 min appointment and told that he needed invasive surgery asap to remove and biopsy the bump. The next day our dog woke up and the lump was gone: he had a small cold and swollen gland.
The last time we were in the office our Cavalier King Charles was in cardiac distress. The doctor took our dog upon seeing him and told me to leave and that he would call me with an update. 4 hours passed and no phone call.  I finally called and was told that our dog was on oxygen and that his condition was not improving. Tests had been done and medication given but approval from me was never asked. My husband called at the end of the day and we were told to come and pick up our dog. We were given a $900 bill.
Our dog spent the next 3 days unable to stand, eat, and relieve himself. His condition did improve a bit for a few days but sadly he passed away 2 weeks later.
I called around asking local vets how much they charge for oxygen and the protocol for communicating options to owners when pets are suffering. I was horrified to find out that I was incredibly overcharged (by about $600). I truly feel that Dr G allowed my pet to suffer and slowly suffocate all day with the outcome of a significant payday.  When I questioned the bill and practices I was told to find a new vet.
Do not take your loved ones to this vet!!

  • We sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel due to congestive heart failure.  The staff at the Pet ER were amazing! They clearly communicated our options with us and provided caring understanding during the most difficult decision.
A few days after our visit we received our pet's paw print on a beautiful ornament and a hand written letter of sympathy signed by all staff members on the duty the night we were in.  We had no idea that they even took this print. It was such a kind sentiment and will be treasured forever.
    I highly recommend this practice!

  • They are very good. I have been using them for 20 years. They are 110% very professional. It is a clean facility, they are very caring, and they treat the animals with utmost respect and consideration. They are a topnotch organization. It's probably a little pricey but it is worth it. I trust my dog to them.

  • The entire practice is all you could want from a vet. The staff is kind and often remember you and your pet. When we started out with North Wind, we had just adopted our first dog, an emotionally and quot;fragileand quot; rescue. We were green. The vet was so kind and seemed to adore our dog. Our dog responded to him with great happiness! He talked dog and we were eager to learn. Now we have now been seeing Dr. Russ since 2004. (Over time, he added two more vets who are very nice). Dr. Russ purposely wants to keep the practice at a and quot;just rightand quot; size.
On the business side: this practice is so efficient. When you arrive for your appointment, you don't wait. You are acknowledged right away and escorted to an exam room within two minutes. The facility is very clean.
There are enough staff members, all friendly. This is great because our dog LOVES it there and loves everyone she meets there. We feel fortunate to have found just the right practice for our dog.
Also, Dr. Russ suggests ways to cut expenses and his fees are reasonable and fair. We would go here regardless but it is helpful that we can afford to take excellent care of our dog.

  • They were very compassionate and obviously very caring and they called us all the time to check on how she was doing and they provided lots of advice and support.

  • They saw my cat quickly and did a complete work up including an echocardiogram. The doctors were efficient and communicated well with me. My kitty is doing well at this time.
