    "Called 4 times for oil delivery and nobody ever showed up. Finally received a delivery on Saturday after oil ran out and then the furnace would not run as it had to be primed. Called emergency service and told they were behind 24 hours . Finally convinced them we were desperate for heat and they said someone would be out between 5 and 9pm. Service call was not properly handled and when we called back they said they would have to reschedule between 2am and 5am. Honestly this is the worst customer service we have ever received. How can oil run out when we have auto delivery and called 4 times for delivery and nobody shows up." Buyer beware to all C. Hofferberger customers. They have been bought by Petro and the service is horrendous.

    Initially quoted rate above service contract schedule. Technician was late, and unaware he was supposed to do an AC service. He did not have time to do it. When advised of their error, company did not offer to do AC service without incurring another separate service call fee. Prior service from company had been fine.

    Steve and crew were excellent to work with. Very personable and flexible with schedule and attentive to the pets in the house. Job was done as laid out and they did extra hours to get it done before the snow storm hit. Definitely hire again and recommend.

    This is the second time that we have used B.A.R. In December our furnace was leaking, it was cold and Henry came out very soon after calling. He needed to do an "innovative" fix, which was awesome because we were leaving on vacation. There was no question then who I would call when we woke up recently and it was COLD. This time there was no hope for the furnace. Henry once again responded quickly to my call for help, and he has once again had to come up with a "crafty" fix with the install of a new furnace. They are the best, and I would highly recommend them for both repairs and new installs. They will work until your problems are solved. They are honest and I trust them which is a very important aspect of hiring any company.

    Overall with the expectation of the one customer system specialist I would say the front line people need more customer service training and they need to listen a little closer but once we returned over to the specialist everything change dramatically she was great.

    So people answering the phone they didn't always understand, they might be nice but they didn't understand.

    Fantastic. Quick response to my call and very flexible when I had to reschedule last minute. Thoroughly explained the problem and the repair options and suggested the most effective and least expensive choice. Really great service and incredibly quick. Fair price and professional and pleasant at the same time.

    We needed to talk to an expert on A/C who would listen to our needs and come back with some options. Michael and Sons sent over SAMUEL GOMES, Sr. Tech and he was amazing. He came to our house, put shoe protectors on, listened to everything we wanted/needed and then measured up our space, all the while asking smart questions to clarify our needs. This guy was amazing. Great customer service and solid people skills. He started doing research almost immediately, calling other experts back at the office and manufacturer's. Within 2 hours he called us back gave us a range of reasonable options so that we could decide what was best for us. A very consultative approach. We really enjoyed having a high caliber person to work with!

    I made an appointment for an annual service on 5/27/16. The appointment was set for 6/4/16 and I was to wait between 1-5PM on a Saturday. No one showed up and I could have been doing lots of other things. My time is precious, apparently they don't think so. I called back and was told a Supervisor would call me. No one ever called. As another complainant said in a review below " I am a repeat customer, so to be treated this way is really puzzling. If a company can't keep an appointment, it should let the customer know. If the company's representatives say that a supervisor will return calls,he or she should do so. Incredibly frustrating and terrible, non-existent service." I could not say it any better. These guys are a sloppy outfit. They need to get their act together. I won't use them again. AVOID AVOID AVOID

    Service person was pleasant and communicated well. He performed services as described in deal, but failed to prevent accumulation of dust around work areas. Especially bad was the heated cellar where the overhead registers in the ducts were not closed to prevent gritty dust accumulation on furniture and floor and clothing in the laundry area. The house required considerable vacuuming and surface dusting to clean up the mess.
    The service person provided guidance in selection of a more efficient air filter for the furnace.
    After a few days the treatment did reduce the amount of airborne dust and reduced symptoms of allergies.

    Our salesman, David Oehlke, was very thorough in his sales presentation.  He took the time to answer all of our questions and go over the price and financing options.  He measured the area to make sure we were purchasing the right air conditioning equipment for our size house.  The financing was very generous and we made the purchase on the spot.  The installation team showed us as scheduled, right on time. There were no problems with the installation and they cleaned up all their mess.  Very efficient process.  We love our new air conditioning system!  We have never had a problem. In fact, we have been in touch with Mr. Oehlke to give us price/information on a generator after we lost power last week.
